  1. maybe he wasn't folish like mcgee and lost alot of money. plummer may have invested his money and the thought of putting his bosy through another training camp season could just force him to walk away. If he's financially secure, it's the motivation that will get him through the training camp and season; if he doesn't have it then maybe a career ending injury (where he can't even walk as a civilian) might disway him.

If he' s financilly secure, it's his call if he comes back & where.

  2. plummer has nothing to lose by retiring but can gain alot by threatening too.

He can tell the broncos where he wants to go and/or have his contract padded with extra dollars to accomadate the new team.

Plummer figures he paid his due in the league and isn't going to be thrown around like scrap heap. He will dictate where and when he's going; he's too old to move around like a gypsy.

I can't say that i blame his tactic.

  3. I actually watched chris brown quite a bit before year when he was on my football fantasy team. he was quite the player! Whenever he wasn't injured, I mean when he was on the Questionable Report the whole season because of his ankle, I didn't know when to start or sit him, thus getting my ass kicked continously.

It became apparent that my decisions came after many beers of whether or not to start him; not how good he was.

Let me set the record straight! When I left him out of my lineup, the RB kicked some serious butt!!! He only played a half before limping off the field, but he produced in a half which many RB's (wont mention you Mcgahee) couldn't produce the whole game.

This RB id definietly worth a shot, even to patch the RB position until all the surplus RB's hit the market next year.

Sign this RB and we will be OK!

  4. This is gonna be an interesting offseason. Instead of looking like we should be taking a step foward the bills seem to be choping players who can still play. Clements,Fletcher, Willis,Spikes. Anyone care to explain how this helps us take the next step?

Spikes was to get a 4.7 million salary this year (?). Those players free up alot of cap space (more lol). If marv goes after 3-4 quality free agents, 5-7 draft picks........experience wise we will take a hit, but the talent might sneak through towards the middle of the season.

This defense of Jauron seems to be unit oriented than start oriented. Maybe the offense will follow same pattern.

You have to admit marv has everyone guessing lol

  5. You make a interesting post with Ricky.

    Bills RB?

    Pro: Ricky Loves Toronto (close)

Ricky has a new baby with his girlfriend in Toronto

Ricky wasn't treated as the go to guy by a pass 1st, ask questions later offensive co-ordinator (got fired late in season)

Ricky would like playing for a GM like Marv

Con: Ricky busted 4 times for weed

Ricky still on hook for some of the 8 million dollar bonus after he "retired"

Miami would need compensation (draft picks?)

    Anything can happen!

  6. I was dreaming like the many others of getting a draft pick higher than 3rd for Willis. Yes he's cap friendly, in a contract year, and has the OL and QB to use as a possible scapegoat, but I can only see the Giants willing to pay the highest price for him.

Thanks McGahee!!! This should help the Bills drive up your stock in trading you!!

I knew I could rely on you to share the BLAME like a good teamate you are!!

  7. I have no problems with kicking the Bills or Sabres when they deserve it. The Sabres are a remarkable story; injury riddled and keep on winning.

My problem is that tend to use the Bills as a whipping boy and crank up there ratings. They wouldn't dare say some of the things that they do if WGR was broadcasting their games; it's their two faced attitude on which team they do the play by play.

Bills suck, fine! Sabres suck , fine! But don't play goody goody on one and not the other because of play by play rights.

donnly issue was typical; thy could have asked the GM of the sabres "is the owner cheap?" because they have access. They blew the question off. If you have the rights, then you have access. You dont ask then your credability is at stake.

They would advertise "we'll tell u the truth about the bills; not like the home team radio station". Same BS from them on hockey.

    Just calling them on it!!!

  8. These same sex buddies just go on and on and on with fantasy stats and their fantasy sports. Their segments sounds too scripted at times.

They're not dumb, but they are "kiddy" smart.

They trash the bills on anything and everything; point of trashing them just for a ratings grab. The Sabres are a whole different story.

A listener called in if the Sabres owner was too cheap to put donnley on IR and use the extra cash space to sign another player (although going over the cap until donnley returns). The obvious answer was "Yes". These kids just came up with answer after answer why they might not do it instead of saying "hey, why don't we just ask this tough question to the GM since we broadcast their games, and see him almost everyday?".

Their attitude towards the Sabres (who they broadcast) and the Bills (who they don't) is like night and day. As long as you don't get sucked into it, it passes the time by.

WGR should stop trashing the Bills just because they don't transmit their play by play signal!!!!!

    Anyone else feel like that?

  9. I am Making the call now that "A-Train Will Not be Re-signed"!!!

    Here's why:

    A-Train the last 3 seasons:

    Total Yards: 960

    Yards per carry: 3.1

    4 TD's 2 Fumbles

    Career Catching Avg 6.7

    Salary last year 939,000

Note: He would want a contract at least 3 million over 2 years guarenteed.

    S Williams last 3 years:

    2004 4.0 YPC

    2005 3.6 YPC

    2006 2.0 with only 2 rushing attempts

    His catching:

    2004 7.7

    2005 8.3

    2006 ----

    Career 7.4

    Salary last year 311,000

In the chris brown section of his signing, he said that he understood his diminished role because they were trying different people out in different situations (Mcgahee & A-Train). He answered like his lack of playing time last year was a sacfrice for the team; he'll get alot more this year.

He's cheaper, can catch the ball better, play special teams, and has shown some ability to run the ball at times.

Sorry everyone. A-Train is "Choo-Choo" - left the platform of the Buffalo Bills.

That would be interesting to find out. maybe most picks were in the top 10 aswell?
