Yeah I'm with you on the question of why not Mike Sherman. He was interviewed during the last hiring episode and is the coach I thought they should have picked to begin with. He had .663 winning % (53–27) as an NFL head coach, for gods sake, and they chose JD instead??!... He's offensive minded and was an OC for Houston in 2007 (which improved from 28th to 14th under him as OC. He would be a perfect fit now. Unfortunately, he is currently the HC of Texas A&M, so maybe he's just not interested in a NFL position now. But who the hell knows what those jokers in the front office are thinking.

I hope the Gilbride rumor is a joke because that will be the straw that breaks this camels back. I will be forced to support a new team period.

You didn't see Walker tackling guys in the preseason games, did you?
Key word... "Preseason"... I've seen Walker play actual regular season games and he wasn't giving up 4 or 5 penalties in one game... Don't get me wrong Walker isn't overall that great, but kinda foolish releasing him when Bell is so unproven.

Yeah have to question the Walker decision. He sure as hell wouldn't be doing any worse then Bell at blocking and not giving up these damn penalties...
I would definitely like to see some analysis on his play tonight to see if he is at least coming through on run blocking.

Great... the side line reporter just commented on how our line seems confused on who to block in the 3-4 look. What the hell are our coaches doing? They do realize all of our AFC east opponents run a 3-4 right?
edit: the players should be coached to know so putting the blame on coaching here imo
