1. I hate the dolphins just as much as any other bills fan. However, I decided this was a jersey I just had to have. Not only is it a conversation starter, but i'm sure it will be good for quite a few laughs. I plan to wear it to the Detroit game and maybe a few other games. I'm sure some people will heckle me at first until I turn around and they see the name on the back. Check it out.

    :thumbsup:My new Dolphins Jersey

  2. Honestly I don't think we will see much of Edwards tonight either. 3 series at the very most if they are relatively short, anything resembling a drive and we will only get 2 series. The reason is, cuts are coming up and we need to make decisions on our depth chart. We have games 3 and 4 to give our starters more time.

  3. You're new here, so your optimism hasn't been ripped out of you by all the pessimists yet (but they will keep trying). But seriously, it's been so long since I had to worry about playoff tickets that I forgot exactly how it works. But you definitely get first shot to buy your season ticket seats. With seasons over 54k, they would probably go by seniority for the extra's though. Here's hoping we can discuss this more when we are further into the season...GO BILLS!!!!

You're right! Just like when it comes to women, it's all Mind over Matter....(and if she doesn't mind, then it doesn't matter)

Eh i'm aware of the pessimistic tone on this board. I've been coming for a few years but rarely post. Thus why I decided if I was gonna post, it was gonna be something positive. I actually get quite giddy when reading articles about the bills, we have so much potential it's unreal. We have the ability to really go places and surprise a lot of people this year (including a lot of the "fans" on here as well). The home opener couldn't come any quicker!

  4. It's been a long time.... didn't it used to be you had to buy 2 or 3 games worth of post season tix ieven if they only played one game?

1st you need to see what seeding they are in before you even know where they play and how many games.

Since we will be winning the division it's safe to say we will be playing at the Ralph!

  5. Where can I buy 2008 Bills playoff tickets? I figured I might as well buy them now before they are all gone.

No but really, when we make the playoffs, as a season holder, how does that affect me as far as being able to purchase playoff tix (assuming we'd at some point get home field advantage). Is their a pool we are entered into for a chance to purchase them?

  6. No depth at RB after Brown and Williams...

    758380

Im hoping Joseph Addai will be named starter for Indy which would make him a good pick, ive seen him listed as sleeper on alot of reports, and Verran Hayes might be filling in the role of Jerome Bettis which should get him a decent amount of TD's but they havn't named anyone yet, but incase they do within the next few days i'd like to hang onto him. That seem logicial?

  7. Well....I'd actually suggest to hold onto all 3 for now....  All 3 are around the same level IMO.  See which one (if any) step up and produce.  I cant imagine any real trade value for them, but they would be gobbled up rather quickly if released.  I didnt mean to imply that QB was a real weak spot.  In fact you have really good depth here and you can certainally win with these guys.  If this WERE the weak spot, you would be okay.  Like I said though, nothing is written in stone after the draft.  Keep your eye open.

    Per my QB Rankings:

    11 Green

    14 Bledsoe

    18 Brees

    758103

    Cool thanks for the advice.

  8. Rookie Mistake : Lots of players on your favorite team

Average QBs: Certianly nothing exciting here...

    758044

What about Trent Green, hes had 4000 passing yards quite a few times in a row lately? Which of the 3 do you recommend I get rid of, or who should I try to trade and for what position?

Also Anquan Bolding is listed as the #1 on the depth chart for Arizona? Terry Glenn was #1 but got bumped recently by T.O. but something could always happen with him.

  9. I agree with your analysis - however I would say Boldin is arguably a top 5 WR, certainly top 10.

    757612

Only 10 teams, I took Ronnie Brown in the first draft, all the other top RB's were gone and I figured RB has a chance for a breakout year, he did great lastyear and only started about half the season and was splitting most running duties with Ricky Williams. With RW gone this can only mean + things for Ronnie Brown.

  10. The only mistake i've seemed to make was Drafting my backup QB with the same byeweek as my starter, so I had to draft a 3rd.

    QBs: (start 1)

    Trent Green

Drew Bledse (him and TG have same bye week, ive got drew on the trading block right now to see if theres any interest in him)

    Drew Brees

    RBs: (Start 2)

    Ronnie Brown

    Carnell Williams

Joseph Addai (if he gets the start for indy would make this a decent pick)

Verron Hayes (might be replacing bettis for redzone)

    WRs: (Start 3, 1 flex W/R)

    Anquan Boldin

    Terry Glenn

    Javon Walken

    Joe Jurevicius

    TEs: (Start 1)

    Bubba Franks

    Robert Royal (backup/BYE)

    K:

    Rian Lindell

    Defense: (Start 2 DL, 2 DB, 2 D)

    Mike Vrabel DL

    Will Smith DL

    Jason Taylor DL

    Aaron Schobel DL

    Champ Bailey DB

    Donte Whitner DB

    Michael Huff DB

    Larry Foote DL

    Angelo Crowell DL

Im thinking of trading one of the DL's for another DB seeing as how 2 of them are rookies and are a gamble, but I figure having a rookie starting DB is better then any offensive rookie.

    Any suggestions/comments?

  11. Yea I figured this was the way this thread would turn out. All I can really say is, if you think that because a plane hit a building near the very top, and fire caused it to collapse all the way to the bottom, with no damage to the foundation, then I guess thats what you believe and probally nothing is going to change your mind. Im not in belief of this "conspiracy theory" because of things like 24 and Xfiles and all these other programs, I hardly watch T.V. as it is. You guys can think im crazy, im just glad you took the time to watch it. I'll post up another link and if you really care too, read the article and respond with what you think, positive or negative. Im not trying to attack anyones point of view, i've done alot of research and came to my own conclusions, I think the research i've done all adds up to a more logical explination then the first time in history 3 buildings collapsed on the same day from fire, and the first time in history 2 planes crashed and left no definitive evidence behind or bodies. IMO even if only 10% of whats said in that video is true, thats enough for me to ask questions and bring up some pretty big WHAT IF's. I found this next article quite intruiging and it really brought alot of it together.

    let the flaming continue. :flirt:

  12. DISCLAIMER: Im sure some of you (especially those of the more conservative nature) are gonna flame the hell out of me for this, but I figure anyone with an open and objective mind will appreciate a movie like this, that would never make it to the big screen, let alone any stores. It is available on DVD through a website, but they are also allowing it to be replayed freely on the internet. Its basically a video investigating the events that conspired on 9/11 and bringing up some important questions. I ask that anyone who does watch it, please watch with an open mind. If your actually interested in it and want to know more, I can give a list of many links and articles that go deeper into the subject and the WHY's.

I found it extremely inspiring and if even one other person comes away from watching it with a sense of enlightenment, my job is accomplished. I hope others enjoy it as much as I did. Thanks for taking the time to listen.

  13. You know what dude, it might as well have said that in the lyrics.  DMX has certainly used the phrase "nigga" and "B word" in his lyrics before.  And also not to mention it is well known that he's a high ranking member of the bloods, so FU_K him in his ear.  More people need to dislike folks like him, actually more people should hate folks like him.  He will never be part of the solution, he will ALWAYS exist as the problem.

    748128

Oh so just because he has said the words nigga and B word that automatically makes the name of the song dumb nigga B word? Obviously this was just ignorance on LAbillz part, and since your mr. know it all, show me where hes a high ranking member of the blood, more people need to dislike him? for what, what does that have to do with what LAbillz ignorantly said the name of the song was, it was obviously a jab at rap music, and it was on the side of racism, im not saying he is racist or not, but I am saying that comment was borderline racist. Theirs alot more problems then rap artists saying those kinds of things, but obviously your in the same ignorant boat so I won't bother getting into this discussion, on another note, if you really want to know what a problem in america is, go watch the free video at www.seeloosechange.com and then, after you watch the FULL VIDEO, come back and talk. Now thats a problem.

  14. Um last time I checked, the number of posts you have doesn't qualify you as knowing the personalities of anyone on this board. LA is not a racist but is a known jokester on this board. The song mentioned the words he stated, ad nauseum. See, his suggested song title was tongue in cheek based on the redundantly stupid lyrics in that riff. Get it, HeadInTheAss? Probably not. Get to know your audience before you take your self-serving stand of righteous indignation.

    748043

Oh thats right, the number of posts qualifies you as knowing someones personality well enough to know if they are a racist. Just because you have 3000 posts and you know everyone on here, does not mean you know them well enough to know if they are a racist or not. Being a jokester is one thing, but to me, that post seemed somewhat racist to me. You call it redundantly stupid, other people enjoy the music, some people might call your music redudantly stupid, does that make it any worse or better, my point is, regardless of what you think of the music, and weather you agree with the content and lyrics or not, that comment was racist, I don't need to get to know my audience at all, i've been reading this board for quite some time but didn't choose to create an account untill the first preseason game, I was making an observation based on the comment, I found it offensive, and under a different audience, one that is more inclined to listen to that kind of music, im sure they would have also.

  15. I suggest you get more than 18 posts under your belt before you start calling people racist.

I didn't find anything racist about it.

    747880

Um last time I checked how many posts I have doesn't unqualify my accusations of someone being a racist. Him saying the song was called "You Dumb Nigga B word" is what I found racist. I listen to all types of music and to hear someone make such a unfounded and racist comment, I think its pretty blatant, not once in the song does it say you dumb nigga B word, and just because people tastes in music are different, that comment was definetly uncalled for. If you don't like it fine, but no need to label it like that, I found it extremely distasteful. It was clearly a reference to the rap music on the highlight.

  16. Thanks for the link. I can't help but wonder what that clip would be like if an older white guy put it together. Background music would be something like Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald instead of whatever that song's title was (I think the title was "You dumb nigga B word" or some such).

    747862

Wow quite the racist aren't we? Actually I believe the song is DMX - We In Here....

  17. Now that I'm watching the Cincy game, I think Reed's days are numbered.  Not so much for the interception, but for yet another drop--on the long ball in the first quarter.

It's just too many drops over too many seasons with this guy.  I'd rather give Davis a shot.

    747595

I agree, i'd feel better with anyone in there over reed, hes had too many oppourtunities that hes blown, time to get someone new in there.

  18. I really think our weakest position is still WR, some may argue that it is in fact the Offensive line, however I feel the line hasn't reached it's potential.  Many of of our WR have.

Evans is good, and would be an ideal 2nd WR, but lacks height.  we can only go deep so many times a game.  he is not a chain mover he is a big play WR.

Price is at the end of his career IMHO, injuries may be the reason, but I just don't see the 1200 yard Price anymore.

Parrish is as smallest WR in the NFL, comparing him to san Moss is just stupid.  moss gets thru jams. and is much stronger.  Parrish is a good PR, and that's it.

Reed-no WR has disappointed me more in the last ten years.  he should be our 3rd down back, give him his old number.

Aiken-lets us hope that Aiken turns into something this year, he is our tallest WR.  However he lacks speed.  But he does run good routes, if given time.  I would make him the number two at this point, however starting him mean we lose one of our best STers.

Davis will likely be watching games this year.

Smith is also small and not fast.

Nance will be lucky if he makes PS

Wilson should make the team over Price.

I am really hoping that there are some surprise releases before the beginning of the season.  I don't think the line can always be blamed for the sacks, think how difficult it would be to look over 6'4"+ men, when you are 6'2" and trying to find WR that are all under 6' (not including aiken) while DBs are getting bigger.  I would trade a 3rd round for Lelie or wait for a release like Rogers (det).  at the very least they have the height to be seen, when not injured

    747196

I would have to disagree, we don't know what roscoe parrish has because he hasn't seen enough time or balls thrown his way to truly be evaluated, but i've liked what we've seen from him so far. Same with Price, he hasn't gotten much thrown his way yet. We don't even have a definate starting QB named yet, and your so quick to write off our WR's. Lets get a QB named and gelling with the WR's before we write them off, so far it looks like JP, and the person who JP feels most comftorable with is Evans, even eric moulds didn't get too many passes last year from JP, so with that said, how can you fairly evaluate someone like Parrish (who had limited playing time last year) or peerless price, who hasn't even played a normal season game yet, let alone a full preseason game.) I just think its unfair to judge them untill we figure out the QB situation and then when thats sorted and the season starts, we can judge them based on performance, not opinion. As for Josh Reed, i've always thought he was horrible and should be cut.
