  1. This is ridiculous, I already posted this on another thread....

The Bills increased their average to the right side of 3.1 ypc to the right to 4.4 ypc to the right side in the games that Peters started at RT.....

The left side suffered, not the right, which increased with Peters production.

  2. Just curious...Where did you get those #s.....If you look at McGahees stats

in the 1st half and 2nd half of the season, you will see that Peters struggled

    with the Run Blocking.

I got them off of the nfl.com, they broke down the rushing attack from left, middle, and right, the games where Peters started at right tackle the rushing game to the right side dramatically increased. Just research, but you dont have to believe it.

  3. Sorry to be negative about this, but I think little progress has been made.

We need to improve at LT and at RT.  I understand that Peters has much potential, but the reality is that our running game suffered after he replaced Williams.  I do have high hopes for Peters and I anticipate that his overall play will improve this year with additional experience.  Villarail is getting old and has been injured over the last couple of years.  He may need to be replaced sooner rather than later.

Actually, the running game to the right side in games with Peters in instead of Williams, the Bills improved 50%, from about a 3.1 yards to a 4.4 yards per carry to the right side..... not sure if that is suffering because of Peters.

  4. FBs are rarely taken in the normal draft let alone the supplemental, as stated Brooks is the best talent out there but doubt the Bills would take him given we took a LB in last year's draft and LB is widely considered a position of strength on the current team.

Hall is more than just a FB and at his workouts I hear he had incredible hands catching out of the backfield as well, which could be a nice compliment to the short passing game... I just like kids that come from winning programs, with good attitudes, he was in the Marines and is a hard worker, I think he can contribute.

And, there were 5 FB's drafted in the 2005 draft, just FYI

  5. Is Gandy the answer for left tackle, or do we see Peters solidifying his role as the best offensive lineman that we have on the team. He is athletic and improves the rushing stats of the Bills everytime that he is on the field. Are these young guys going to help out the line?

Bang for buck, we dont have much money invested in the Bills OL, I wonder if thats a problem?

  6. What are everyone's thoughts on the Supplemental Draft in July? I think Ahmad Brooks would be a physical freak, but may cost too much, but what about Ahmard Hall from UT? Could be a real rock in the offense and help shore up some blocking and the running game, as well as help out with the pass protections. Thoughts?
