If you had the chance to ask Russ Brandon one question what would it be?
What is your thinking as you enter the draft? Are you looking for that "franschise QB"?, or will go the O'line or D'line route?

I signed a 3 year contract to renew my JKC's last year.... What a mistake... So I am back for 2 more years, regardless of the coach, GM, players, etc etc
Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year, to all...

Where is the outrage? This is the second time Cincy has done this to Central Michigan. Butch Jones has taken the job at Cincy and is not going to be present for Central Michigans bowl game. Sounds familiar right?

I do feel bad for the kids and it's a shame that college football has made this the norm. I do find the double standard amusing though.
Let's be honest the NCAA is a joke. Think about all the money they make off of the "students athletes", and it starts with the NCAA clearing house, $75.00 just to apply to a school so you can possible play a sport. From there we can talk about the atheletes that cannot get a job to pay for over priced books, the BCS, Notre Dame, and its own TV contract, schools stealing coaches, etc etc. Granted football and basketball help pay for the non-revenue sports, but the NCAA really needs to clean up its act when it comes to Football and the division 1 championship series. Oh yeah it is still Division 1 single A to me. Another example of the NCAA being a joke....Merry Christmas and happy New Year

Good point about Jax, but I think they are at a point where they need to make the playoffs and win at least one game (too many seasons at .500, like the Bills). And I don't think they are going to do that, I think they will have another later season collapse. I could be wrong, which would be great, one less opening for the Bills to compete with.
Yes, perhaps Gruden would go to Carolina instead of Jax. I considered that, but decided to keep in FL.

Thought it might be a good time to give the coaching carousel a spin. Here are the teams I expect to have vacancies after this season, in descending order of the most desirable job / most money to spend:
Washington - Bill Cowher
Dallas - Mike Shanahan
Chicago - ____________
Seattle (GM only) - Mike Holmgren
Carolina - ____________
Cleveland - Marty Schottenheimer
Jacksonville - Jon Gruden
Buffalo - ______________
Oakland - _____________
The rest of the teams that are bad already have first year young coaches he will be given a chance. I also expect several veteran coaches to survive, as one bad season will not deter the stable ownership at most of those teams (Fisher, Coughlin)
The remaining 4 spots can be filled with a combination of coordinators, Brian Billick, and the fired coaches worth re-hiring (Lovie Smith, maybe Del Rio)
Care to fill in the blanks? I had a hard time giving Billick to the Bills, as I would really prefer Schottenheimer, but I think Cleveland might reach into their past, and if this was a draft on desirable teams for a coach to go to, we'd only be picking ahead of the Raiders.
Jim Haslett from the undefeated Florida Tuskers of the UFL... Play Jp in the Championship game next week...

For those of us who want to relive the days when the Bills where in the post season, the NFL Network is airing the Bills Titans* playoff game on Saturday. Let the banter begin about who was a better, qb, DF or RJ, or was Wade a good HC, certainly better then Dickie J. It will take me back to when the Bills actually mattered! Another year of season tickets down the drain. Brings up the question what could I have done with my $2700.00 instead of buying JKC seasons????
I would of spent a week in San Juan....

Received both the tickets and parking discounts.
Live in Va and I have not gotten my season tix or parking passes.

The Harmon drop against Cleveland. For years if we were playing ball and somebody dropped one they should have had we referred to the dropper as Ronnie.
Norwood hits the extra point on the previous TD Bills only down by 3 instead of 4, and Ronnie("he should of thrown it sooner") Harmons's drop never occurs.
