It's not bad so long as it's well done. I live right around the corner and I've had many a soggy wet bottomed pizza from there. Yuck!!
My personal favorite is Pizza Bella in Riverside, Buffalo. I grew up on that pizza and if we're in the vicinity we stop and get one to bring home. Yummy.

My Dad was unable to go tp my games, and I remember for quite a while looking for him in the stands. I wouldnt be comfortable with myself missing my son's games games, especially since I can record the games on TV. I can watch the DVD's anytime, I cant say the same about his games.
Not only that, but if he gets hurt, you or his mom need to be there or you will never forgive yourself. I am a hockey mom and I've missed many a Bills game and Yankees games and Sabres games, but I just tell myself I have the rest of my life to watch those games but only a little while to watch my boy grow up donig something he loves and something I love watching him do. They grow up all too fast, enjoy it while it lasts.

How quickly did the guard get to your area?

75-25 Sabres
Hockey playoffs blow football playoffs to smithereens. Not that the Sabres will make the playoffs this year. But then, who knows if the Bills will either....
Four rounds of the best of seven beats single game elimination any day of the year. Sixteen games to win the Stanley Cup. It's just incomparable.

Is that all you got? You can't stay on topic so you reach for something entirely outside this thread? Are you incapable of discussing the matter at hand without resorting to childish insults when someone has a different opinion than you?

Didn't you read the whole post either?? I swear this is like teaching kindergarten kids how to read a post in its entirety.
Inexperience is a factor, so is youth. But don't paint all motorcyclists with the same brush. For every 1000 riders you see on the road you'll see maybe one racing and popping wheelies.

Motorcycle riders aren't stupid it's the stupid drivers around them.
It is common sense to wear a helmet, just like it's common sense to wear a seatbelt. My husband and I have been riding for years and in our experience the helmets offer a measure of protection from the !@#$s around us who don't know how to drive a car. Operating a motorcycle definately requires experience in defensive driving. I can't tell you how many times we've been cut-off by someone who failed to notice us (that's why they say 'loud pipes save lives', duh!) or how many times someone would be riding our ass just a couple feet back. You have to operate a motorcycle with the expectation that someone around you is bound to do something stupid, and you have to be ready to react.
I don't know the statistics and I'm sure a lot of the accidents are due to inexperience, but I'd be willing to bet that more than half of motorcycle accidents are the fault of a driver of a car. We've lost two dear friends in separate motorcycle accidents because of the stupidy of a driver in a car. Both were cut-off and killed through no fault of their own. A third friend also was cut-off and suffered serious injuries in yet another accident caused by the stupidity of a guy driving a car.
So we wear helmets because we don't want our kids to grow up without us due to the stupidity of an idiot in a car!

Has anyone ever negotiated the purchase price on a vehicle at the end of a lease? The lease contract offers the option of buying the vehicle at the end of the lease for a predetermined amount stated in the contract. Is that amount written in stone or is it negotiable? It's a good price regardless and is worth it even if I can't negotiate it down further but with the market for cars what it is, I wonder if I can get it cheaper. I've got till January to decide, but I'm leaning towards keeping it. Also, I pay tax only on the residual value of the vehicle, right? I'm pretty sure it's just the residual value. So, is it negotiable?

The number one main reason my husband and I stay is for our kids and our families. My husband has two kids from a previous marriage that he wouldn't see much of if we left the area. My son's roots are also firmly planted and I couldn't tear him away from his friends and his hockey team (or his dad for that matter).
Plus I like living in Hamburg. It's a quiet area but still close to everything (5 minutes from the Ralph). It's far enough away from the city where I don't feel the need to lock my doors during the day when I'm home. I also like the four seasons. If our kids someday do leave the area, we won't be too far behind.
I do think the area is fixable, but not with the self-serving politicians that rule the area. The waterfront has sooo much unrealized potential. Pataki could give us a hand, but he won't. Won't even return Higgin's calls. It's such a waste of space, literally. Have you driven down route 5 lately? Over the Skyway to the 190? It's a sad sight.
We are completely disgusted with local politics, but obviously not enough to leave. If it's still the same in 15-25 years, we'll probably retire to Virginia.

My ancesters on my mothers side arrived in New Amsterdam, NY about 1640 (from the Netherlands). Ended up in Erie County in the mid 1800's along with my ancesters from my fathers side at about the same time (from Germany).

We have three computers at our house, one wired (pc) and two wireless (pc and laptop) and are wep enabled. Once in a blue moon one of the wireless will lose its internet connection (for some reason it usually happens to me if I leave my laptop on overnight). Unplugging the router and/or the modem for 30 seconds fixes the problem every time. It only happens with the wireless and never to the wired pc. I suspect that it's because the linksys router that I have is older and should probably be upgraded. but fwiw, simply disconnecting it for 30 seconds may solve your problem
For those who have problems with the wep, some older versions of linksys are not entirely compatible with xp and you will need to update the firmware at the linksys website for it to work properly.

I took Dunn Tire to small claims For $500 about 17 years ago. I had new tires put on four brand new American Racer rims and specifically told them to hand torque the lugs. They power torqued them and gouged every one of the rims in one or more places around the lugs. They denied the damage but the judge ruled in my favor. I got a check for $500 about a week or two later. It was worth it in my case.

Despite all the injuries, my biggest disapointment is how small Miller's come up in the series so far.
This is a guy that many touted as the Sabres' starter in 2006, based on the hot streak the Amerks put together earlier this year. He's not shown me enough mental toughness in this series and he gave up some questionable goals in Round 1 as well.
Do you think they overworked him down the stretch when they were trying to get that "Win" record for him?
Tonight, win or lose, he's got to have a "stand on your head" game if he's going to make himself a viable replacement to Biron next year.
Personally, I think Mika Noronen's better than the both of them. Miller always seems to let one in in the first five minutes so the Amerks always seem to be trying to dig themselves out of a hole. I don't even want to get started on Biron. Marty lets in some of the most awful goals I've ever seen. And he always seems to lose the game for the Sabres in the last five minutes. At least Miller and Noronen are still playing, whereas our starting goaltender Biron, hasn't competed since the Sabres last game last April '04. Scary.....

You can watch Satan score tonight at 9:00 on Adelphia 13. It's game 2 (in its entirety) of the Ottawa series in the 1999 Stanley Cup run.

Here's a guy who accepted his responsibility which included a few surprises he hadn't counted on, yet found himself blasted by many for everything other than what his post was about. He never asked for anyone to condone what led to his situation, only to possibly understand and share in his frustration with the "system". It must be wonderful that all those who ripped him have never made a mistake, or have ever been dealt a bad hand (birth control pill failure).
Remember where you are, there are a few people on these boards that have no lives outside of TBD and live for any chance to rip somebody on a daily basis, whether it pertains to the topic or not. It's too bad really, cause we're all Bills fans and we all come to these boards to chat and catch up on the latest, but you can fully expect to get blasted by the few who have nothing better to do but seek out someone to rip (usually, all you gotta do is look at their post count). Sometimes it's just a consequence of using this board.

Sometimes a parent gets forced into dealing with ECSCU through no fault of her/her own. My husband's ex took him to court (she takes him to court for everything) for the sole reason of having his check garnished through the support collection unit. She claimed that mail delivery was unreliable. He fought it. She won. Now she bitches because her payments from ECSCU are erratic. LOL. In my case, my ex didn't want to have money issues between us so he elected on his own to go through EC rather then hand me a check every week, and I've never had any problems. None of the four of us has ever been on the dole or "bellied up to the trough". In Erie County Family Court, the option of using ECSCU is always encouraged. If the mother wants to use it, the court will usually side with her against the fathers objections. That's just the way it goes in family court.
