  1. But lurkers don't help the board, to tell the truth. If you aren't posting you aren't really contributing to the community, IMO. That doesn't mean you have to post like a mad man, like some of us. And this is a great place to come to get updates and information. But if you aren't contributing to the give and take, at least a little bit, what good is it to the rest of the community? (BTW, I should have used "one" instead of "you", as I wasn't suggesting you don't contribute.)

First of all...Hello Dean, long time no see.

Not sure I agree with you on the Lurkers. Hell, I've been lurking here since the D&C and Rivals days and have always said I have nothing of value to add to the board. Maybe I'll throw in some comic relief from time to time, that's about it. Although I can't recall posters by name, I know I have seen some pretty good posts by said "Lurkers". I just think it's a great place to read and gather information about my favorite football team. I have even met quite a few posters from the board.

As far as contributing to the community, I remember sending money in a couple of times just for the privilege of Lurking.

    Good to see you again.

  2. 1) Who sings the Bills Fight song. I'm aware that it's an Isley Brother's rip off, but who is the original recording artist of The Bills Shout Song?

Don't care what anybody says, don't care whose toes I step on...In my feeble brain the Shout song is sung by "Otis Day and the Knights"

    That will do.

  3. I just wanted to say that, because...y'know.

We're on the eve of kickoff and the air is getting crisper out there and tis the season when a man's thoughts turn to tackling and out patterns and audibles and traps and seams and ACL tears in the knees of opponent superstars and clock management and fades and bull rushes and fire zones and that was clearly pass interference and slants and posts and quick outs and toss sweeps and torn labrums in the shoulders of opponent quarterbacks and tailgating and fake punts and blitzes and bootlegs and buttonhooks and bump and runs and personal foul and what a fuggin drive that was and holy crap can that kid fly and somebody tackle that punk and coffin corners and double teams and redzones and roughing the passer and safeties and scrambles and field position battles and fumbles and cut his ass and screens and what the hell kind of a call was that and even I knew it was going to be a run and I'm hammered and stiff arms and square-ins and huddles and gunners and interceptions and third and longs and I always knew that kid could play.

    Y'know?

    I'm feeling it.

    Football.

Here's to us having a better time this season that we'd have expected. *clink

    Absolute best run on sentence.....EVER.

  4. I'd agree with the 10 to 11 PM sentiment just out of common courtesy, after that take it inside...

Not to take away from the original question, but I will...A few years ago I used to have a pretty hot looking boss. Our crew was made up of 15 guys (field techs) and 3 women in the office. Twice a year the boss would invite the crew to a backyard party at her home...

On Monday mornings, somebody would always ask (usually a newbie), "what time did you leave the party ?" The answer would always be, when <insert bosses name here> ended up naked, passed out, face down on the picnic table...

Still cracks me up to this day...But, then again.

  5. For those of you interested in the salary cap, my 2006 Miami cap page is available now at FH

Thanks for all of your hard work...This coming from somebody who averages 0.35 posts per day and reads countless posts per night.

Somewhere in this post lies a serious math problem.
