  1. How can one "make a jump" if they haven't "show growth"? That's nonsense. Even if everyone else declined and his standing improved, you wouldn't use the term "made a jump". You are playing a stupid semantic game here to try to win an argument. It's clear Chan thinks he has improved, which is really the point of saying he has "shown growth" or "made a jump".

You are correct if you are saying this may mean squat. But don't deny what the HC said. He said it.

It says he has made a jump not anyhing about showing growth. For all we know Chan could have been implying Brohm made a jump off of a cliff.

  2. I dont buy the whole "different position" BS

Orakpo had something like 8 or his 11 sacks while lined up at DE. He wasnt full time at either position. So now its a bad thing that he was able to start for the Redskins - a team with a lot more talent than the Bills - at TWO positions, and succeed at both of the those positions, while Maybin couldnt sniff the field at only one position.

Seems to me like the fact the Orakpo was such a good linebaker and DE is more of a reason we should have drafted him.

How people who make picks like that remain in the NFL is beyond me.

If im not mistaken didnt Perry Fewell come out say Maybin didnt know the playbook?I think Maybin may not be all that smart and i highly doubt Chan plays him this year barring injury

  3. I heard him say something along these lines "I THINK the Bills should have moved Lynch for a 4th round pick, but I BELIEVE teams offered too little and the Bills turned down an offer or two"

Sounds like speculation not fact to me. People on here need to listen to a quote fully and really think about what was said said instead of taking it out of context.

Well you obviously didnt listen to what he said.He said the Bills were offered a 4th round pick maybe a 3rd during the draft and they turned it down.Maybe you should watch the show and get ur facts straight before posting

  4. Three of the worst teams in the NFL have had a great 3 rounds so far, much better with both selecting the best player available as well as filling needs than the Bills have. Looking like the league is going to leave us and the Raiders fighting for the top pick this time next year. Our draft has been one big mystery and head shaker. We came into the draft with 3 huge holes, and have attempted to fill one of them, the NT, with a DE? The other two have been ignored. Any quarterback that had a chance of being a franchise QB is gone now. Not looking good. With this team, we will have to keep handing it off, even if we are down by 4 touchdowns, with no QB and no OL. Hopefully Buddy is watching Holmgren and Pete Carroll to watch how it is supposed to be done.

Just STFU because you obviously dont know what your talking about. You need to do some research before you post bull.... like this.Troup is and was a 3-4 nose tackle.

  5. Yeah I know OT, NT, QB blah blah blah. NGU told us flat out, they are not going to reach for the 3rd or 4th Tackle in the draft at 9.

How about how fast that pick was in!!!!

NFLN loves the pick btw. This guy is a pure home run threat/ potential perinial probowler. He is the next Marshal Faulk/ Thurman Thomas.

Love the pick ,Ot in 2nd

  6. Being so hyped about the draft ,I need to burn some time. Okay here we go.

    Rd 1 Clausen

    Rd 2 Charles Brown USC

    Rd 3 Cam Thomas N.C.

    Rd4 Jacoby Ford wr. Clemson

Rd 5 Ciron Black Ot-G LSU.

Man I think this year we are finally going to get some players. LETs Go BuFFalOOOOOO

No way Clausen in the first.

  7. You'll be near the epicenter. Bring us good karma, Bill.

Hope we can get a tackle. Some projections are that with Saffold and Iupati going in the first, that the position might be very depleted very quickly.

The Bills have said they don't want to reach for a player at a position of need, but if they decide that the tackles they want are gone by their first pick, will they have the discipline to stick to their board or will they fear getting hosed at tackle and take the third or fourth best one?

It's very intriguing stuff. Have a great night...maybe we'll see you in the official draft thread.

Mayock stated he believes 6 tackles go in the first

  8. someone forgot to tell Lynch and Travis Henry that

Michel Irvin obviously isnt one of the sharper knives in the drawer. He has absolutly no business being on the set of NFL Network. He is an absolute disgrace to the channel.Go hit the pipe Mike

  9. Michel Irvin aka- idiot says the Bills will go with Dez Bryant in Nfl Network mock.He says you cant get in trouble in Buffalo, implying there is nothing to do here.Another insult from one of the dumbest commentators on tv.GFY Michel Irvin

  10. Just stated on NFL Network:

(talking about Clausen slipping) From a very reliable source in Buffalo, Buffalo will not leave tonight without a QB. And they will not take one at #9.

The discussion was how far will Clausen fall if he's not picked in the top 10. Casserly said he see's a late 1st round run. Lombardi then agreed and and gave the above tidbit, and suggested that the late 1st round run would probably be 2nd rounders trading up.

Exactly what i heard also.So to sum up Bills will have a qb before the end of the first round but will not use 9th pick to acquire/draft qb.Sounds like trading back into bottom of 1st for Tebone

  11. It is pretty low to scam the grandmother of a former teammate.

If the allegations are true, I hope that they Nail him.

Seems about right,i met Daryl Porter,(great guy)Jamie Nails,(complete dbag)Camille Loud,(ok guy)Thurman Thomas(great guy)and Kevin Williams(100% dbag)at 24 kt gold years ago.Jamie Nails and Kevin Williams were complete dbags while the rest were pretty cool, espically Daryl Porter.Good to see hes making out well

  12. This jumped out at me.

Receiver: The incumbents are Lee Evans, James Hardy, Roscoe Parrish and Steve Johnson. Those are the only receivers on the roster. The free-agent crop was thin this year, and the Bills have not hosted any free-agent wideouts yet. There is good depth in the draft. The Bills figure to be drafting some receivers.

    http://www.buffalonews.com/2010/03/20/9942...ls-for-3-4.html

I like Steve Johnson, & Lee Evans.

Maybe Roscoe will get a chance to work the middle this season?

Hardy really needs to step up this season, I wish him the best, but I'm not holding my breath.

We don't even have a random special teamer WR to man the gunner spot on Special Teams.

If the Bills "brain-trustt" is smoke & mirrors with draft intel. You got to think there is a chance a WR is taken in the first 3 rounds.

Although maybe the "brain-trust" realizes the list of washout WRs is alot longer than successful WRs and will stick on building the interior lines of the team. You can pick up a recycled WR alot easier than most other positions.

Before you start with your poorly thought and negative response, please realize I'm not proposing the Bills take a WR early. I'm simply highlighting how thin our WR core is and the likelihood of a curve ball thrown by the "brain trust" to go WR

Look how well drafting recievers high has worked for Detroit <_<

  13. Too funny!!! I posted here, in part to rile you guys up, which was entirely too easy. But also to point out the fact that nobody and I mean NOBODY worth a damn in the NFL wants to come to Buffalo! Coaches (Cowher, Shanahan, Harbough to name a few) Players (McNabb, Coles, Taylor to name a few) and GM’s want nothng to do with this armpit of a city.

I’ve been a Buffalo fan since the days of OJ but I truly believe that the only way the Bills will get ahead is if they move to a better city – just like the coaches, players and GM’s that have left Buffalo for better surroundings. Does this mean I’m less of a fan?? HELL NO!!!! It means I’m MORE of a fan!!! I’m willing to let them go to see them do better – it is the ultimate in fandomonium!!!!!!!

    You Sir Are 100% Douche

  14. Oy vey! I wonder how this guy knows the Bills are interested in Tebow? I have a lot of faith in BN's talent evaluation skills so if they take him it will be for something Buddy sees in him and I'm ok with that. JMO.

This guy sounds like an uckshmay to me.

He does sound like a smuck and he has Indy picking 32nd(winning the Superbowl)and I didnt see a date on the article therfore imo is competely baseless
