1. I can Patrick Ramsey is gun shy. He has a tendancy to hold the ball way to long.  Spurrier probably killed any confidence that guy had.  Making the trade for the sake of "screwing" a division opponent isn't really sound management.  Ramsey might have a big time arm, but he doesn't have it.  If we were gonna trade for a qb I'd rather Matt Schaub theres also guys like Charlie Whitehurst and Brodie Croyle who I'd rather have in the draft.

I think the point of the post was we could get Ramsey for a low draft choice and for a 6th rounder he was worth it. You never know I think Ramsey could be a good QB. Schaub would have cost at least a 2nd Rounder maybe more.BTW I love your picture of U of Miami Everett how do u put pics in there

  2. If Leinart happens to fall to 8 I wouldnt argue with picking him. I'd like to see a lot more consistency before I back losman.  Right now he's just another guy.

Oh and I agree about Jay Cutler. He has kyle boller written all over him, which is a step down from what I had losman pegged as the next Jake Plummer.

All good points stay away from Cutler very overrated IMO, But if Leinart or Young falls to 8 (very possible I think)can't pass on him. Also I don't care about Everett or Royal if Vernon Davis is there and Demario and D Brickshaw are gone can't pass Vernon(OL will be able to plug in later rounds besides D Brickshaw there are no 1st round OL). Now when it comes to Losman the only FA I would have liked is Culpepper and he's gone as well as Brees (although, I'm not high on Brees anywho) so if not for top 2 QBs I would use middle round(3-7) on Backup QB and let him compete with loser of Losman-Holcomb for backup.

  3. Coming into the Off-Season the #1 player on my Wish List not the Bills needs or the player that would help the most, But the player I like the most was "Tank". A monster hitter whos young and has the size and ability to develop into a Roy Williams or Ed Reed type of game changer

  4. I agree I think too many posters are looking for the big splashy splurge(me included) But until Levy has a year or two of failures he has my complete confidence. At the end of the season I'll complain how I think we should have got Culpepper, or Bentley, or Abraham, or T.Pryce, or Archuleta

  5. ================

I  He is like a Steve Smith type receiver, small and quick.  His best ball is ahead of him.

    634875

He's exactly like Steve Smith except smith has better hands, field awareness, jumping, agility, and Oh Yeah Smith runs a 4.35 40 compared to Josh Reed's 4.6 or 4.7

  6. If Marv is the most over rated hall of fame coach, Polian is the most overated GM.

As for Polian, what has he done that makes him so special, he put together teams that lost 4 straight SB's and since losing his overrated HOF coach he has not been able to even make the big game, even with one of the best QB's in the league today and a team that almost went undefeated. But lets hype him up cause he is so underrated and marv is Overrated.

    634927

Its my opinion that Levy and Polian belong in the HOF, But more so in Polian's case.

"What has he done that makes him so special" is this an early April fools joke??!!!??!!???Someone else said he's lucky. With Buffalo Polian AND Levy had 5 Divisional titles,5 AFC Championship appearances,4 SB appearances while assembling talent like High draftees(Thurmanator, Jim Kelly, Phil Hansen, Shane Conlan, Bruce Smith) and other finds (Kenneth Davis, James Lofton,Greg Bell, Frank Reich, ANDRE REED, Pete Metzelaars, Don Beebe, Howard Ballard, Kent Hull, Jeff Wright, Cornelius Bennett, Darryl Talley, Nate Odomes, Mark Kelso)All superstars no, But all nice contributors to the only team in NFL history to go to 4 straight SBs. Then, he goes to an expansion team in Carolina who wants to win fast so he gives Dom Capers (Who I'm pretty sure will never be mentioned as a HOF coach)a team that competes for a championship and goes 12-4 in there 2nd SEASON. Finally he goes to a mess in Indy and takes Peyton over Ryan Leaf when talent scouts were split, Then he drafts "Edge" over Ricky Williams when all the so-called experts thought he was high on good stuff. He proceeds over the years to add Marvin Harrison, Tarik Glenn, Jeff Saturday, Reggie Wayne, Brandon Stokley, Dallas Clark, Dwight Freeney, Mike Doss, Cato June, Bob Sanders, and Robert Mathis. With the building Polian has done in Indy he cannot be faulted for them not getting over the hump. In the first few years I thought it was the fault of Jim Mora(Playoffs! Playoffs!) who has NEVER won a playoff game. But, now I believe its Peyton's Dan Marino-Like way of falling short in the big game. New England is to Manning what Buffalo was to Marino. Does anyone agree? If my facts are a little off (which I don't think they are) I apologize but I'm in my early 20's and I tried to remember as accurately as possible without research. B-cuz I can't believe a misinformed Bills fan has the nerve to bash Polian(The best GM in Bills history since 1983 my birthyear)

  7. 2007 Mock Draft

    634505

I bet theres at least a 60 % chance half the guys in this mock don't go in 1st round. Any takers? Brady Quinn 1st overall??????? Brady Quinn might get injured and fall out of 1st round. I can't believe somebody is posting for next year when we haven't seen this year. I know theyre's about 0.000000001 % chace of this but what if Reggie Bush pulls a Bo Jackson and sits out the whole year and reenters next draft?

  8. Stephen NEAL I can see but Nall???!!!!!????????!!!!!!!!!! don't we have enough QBs who are either career backups or projects. I say if we don't sign experienced starter and don't get one of top 2 (Young or Leinart) we should draft or sign intriguing youngster.I know people will say well intriguing youngster or draftee is a project but why waste time on somebody like Nall.No disrespect to other posters just my opinion

  9. Actually, no one said that.  However, it is just as interesting (using your logic) that so many here think ALL that Marv has done is wrong.

    That is perplexing, given:

    (a) He has not even been on the job 6 months.

    (b) Free Agency has not even ended.

© The draft has not occured.

    (d) Summer Camp has not happened.

    (e) Pre-season has not happened.

    (f) We have not played our first game yet.

While I may not agree with every move Marv has made, I decided to give him time and let him do it his way.  I am fairly confident he will not seek my (or anyone here at TBD) opinion on football matters.

Why is it so imperative or impressive to be a naysayer?  Trust is actually a good thing, especially when speaking about something so completely irrelevant to the big picture of life such as the NFL.

Sure Marv ought to be critiqued as an NFL GM; the problem is that no one, absolutely no one, here on this board (me included) has one iota of an idea of how to assess him (outside of W-L record); which ironically supports my contention that it is too early to say good or bad.

Marv will make mistakes....everyone does (except maybe the negative posters here who probably do not do anything risky enough to fail at anything) so why is it so important to try to pick on Marv now, when he has not been given enough time to be judged?

Can we not wait until Late November?

    634931

    I Agree 100%

  10. Would Moulds look at them? Do they seem like a team ready to win the SB this year with just his addition? I can't believe he thinks so.

Let's see best team in football the last 5 years and almost every year people think they're gonna fail. With Brady, Seymour, Vrabel, Bruschi and other core parts still in place I wouldn't write them off yet despite FA losses. Let the record show I hate the Patriots but respect they're Front Office

  11. You're the panicky, high strung, nonleader type, correct?

"Never heard of this TE" = he's bad.

"Andre Davis has an upside" = but we only need three WRs . . .

"We need guys in the trenches" = I can't even remember the DT we signed so he must suck.

Third day of FA = how come we don't have our whole team ready for opening day?

So just cause you are lacking in football knowledge means LARRY TRIPLETT Sucks
