I live in Charlotte and the fan base is definitively not as extreme as say Philly. I'd say they are worse in some cities over others - if worse means the harshness.
Didn't some fans hang from the upper level with ropes during a MNF game there?
There are idiot fans everywhere
-
your opinion! , will not lower myself to get into any type "amazing ridiculous" rhetoric with you.. its obvious you are the MAN. ! now you have a nice day!
You won't get into it with me but you'll form an opinion of an entire city of fans based on the very small percentage of them who actually call into sports radio...that's brilliant
You must be a blast at holiday dinners...enjoy!
-
dude.. lighten up.. this is an opinion based forum, right? are you here to judge? i was just expressing an opinion, not offering it up as gospel ok?
Dude, you're forming an opinion on an entire city of fans based on what you hear while listening to sports radio, that's amazingly ridiculous
There are idiot fans everywhere, not just in Philly or NY or Buffalo and those idiots are no worse in any one city over another
-
not sure if you have access to philly sports talk, but i do and it is evident to me, but that just my opinion. not carved in stone.
Do you really think fans who call into sports radio are any different in other cities or more importantly that those are the fans you should be basing your opinion on?

Eagles fans would question God.
I guess the fans on this site questioning Goodwins decision to try for the Olympics are somehow different
There are idiot fans everywhere, not just Philly, NY, or Buffalo
you got that right!.. fickle and as bandwagon as they come.
Eagles sell out every game and hv for a long time so how on earth are they bandwagon?

There will likely be two big name additions in FA as well
Based on what?
Whaley has been saying since last offseason that the Bills would not be very active in FA this offseason and instead would be concentrating on resigning their own players
-
It's still January and I'm already sick of the Ryan twins
Next season is going to be a freaking disaster
-
#Bills CB Stephon Gilmore considers himself an "elite" CB & eventually wants to be paid that way. BN blog: http://bit.ly/1RzMrlT
You can forget a hometown discount when his deal is up.
I'd be happy with him just being a very good CB who could make it through a couple seasons without being injured

I'm rooting for Cards and Broncos so you can bank on Panthers and Patriots
The Broncos were just brutal today
-
I'm amazed how many stadiums play Bon jovi
-
How big was that missed FG at end of first half
-
How do u not throw beyond line to make? I know there was pressure but jeez

Olsen is the most underrated player in the league.
He's very good, never understood why Bears felt need to trade him
-
This is reminding me of Bills Raiders 51-3 game

This is brutal

I can think of plenty of players that are more selfish than Cam:
1. DeSean Jackson
2. Half of the Bengals defensive starters
3. D. Murray
4. AP
Off the top of my head.
Cam is all about Cam, everything he does screams notice me which he makes sure everyone does
-
I don't understand the Cam hate. He's a good player, seems like a good guy, has fun playing the game.
You call it fun, I call it arrogance by the biggest ME player on the planet
-
Carolina could really win this - and by "this" I mean the whole ball of wax.
I don't know if I could handle a world where Cam Newton is a super bowl winning QB
-
Seattle can't block anyone, entire Dline is penetrating
-
Well it's 1:15, what can I find to keep me occupied until the late game
What a garbage decision by Wilson
-
Normally, they have the top turf experts in the world work the fields to ensure it's in top shape before a big game like this. WTF, NFL?
Also, on 1st play: horsecollar tackle.
Sherman grabbed collar to get a hold of Stewart but didn't tackle him by it as he let go before bringing him down...not sure if it qualifies or not
-
I can't stand Carolina mainly bc of Newton but I like the way they play, run first team with good tough defense
-
Based on what? They had essentially the very same problems against quality opponents that they did this season. Everyone is pining for something that was statistical, not real. That defense wasn't EXCELLENT. Excellent defenses don't get dominated by the Raiders or lose 2 score leads late in the second half.
It wasn't "really good". It was the product of a favorable schedule and consistently came up small when it mattered.
The only thing "number 4 ranked" and "led the league in sacks" tells us is that we need to look deeper to see why they didn't play well when it mattered most.
If the defensive success in 2014 was based on a favorable schedule then why wasn't the defense better this year vs a more favorable schedule which included the NFC East and AFC South?
Your conclusion that a defense can be a product of a favorable schedule is severely flawed

Isn't this also a place where others can disagree with that opinion and point out reasons on what is wrong with that opinion especially when it's as stupid as forming that opinion based on what you hear while listening to sports radio? Since when do the small percentage of dopes who call into sports radio speak for an entire city?
There are idiot fans everywhere not just in Philly. Ppl like to bring up the fans who cheered when Michael Irvin got hurt but always seem to quickly forget when it happens in other cities like just a few weeks ago when Cincy fans cheered when Big Ben got hurt which was barely even mentioned after the game.
Ppl still bring up when fans threw snowballs at Santa Claus like it recently happened when in fact it happened almost 50 years ago.
