He's coming back & so is Dorsey. Dorsey I think is more of a concern. I'm not enthused, but I'll withhold final Judgement until I see what our final Roster moves look like. Need some upgrades.

Dorsey is definitely not more of a concern, cause it's his first year and he's a competitive SOB and will get it figured out! Frazier has been DC for 5 years and won't change anything up, refuses to make adjustments, and doesn't appear to take responsibility for our two big losses in the playoffs, this year and last. I can't even stand to see the look on his face when they pan over to him, cause he looks clueless and has zero intensity. As a DC, you should either have brains (like Lou Anarumo) or be intense, cause the players take on the personality of their coach! The fact that we didn't fire Frazier means that we were okay with our play vs the Bengals (both times this year)!!

  2. Tennessee has been my worst experience! Was there for the Miracle Throw forward game in '99 and had fans in back of us hitting my brother on his back every time the Titans made a positive play. Was told numerous times, to "go home Yankee!" I replied, that I live in Birmingham, so you're the Yankee, they had no comeback for that one.  I've been to every Bills game at their stadium since '99 and have had issues every Fn time! So much for southern hospitality.

KC-I've had nothing but positive experiences with their fans, other than some back and forth on who's better, Allen or Mahommes.

Miami-Hot women with small amounts of clothing makes this a great place to watch the Bills own Miami! Aside from a few #######s shouting Bills suck, I've not had any issues.

Jacksonville-Not a very hospitable place either. A lot of ***** talking from a fan base that doesn't know football and comes to the games to get drunk! Of course, we were an easy target when they beat us last year after being favored by about 20 points!!

Atlanta-If I ran into a Falcons fan, they were pretty friendly, however it was about 80/20 Bills fans!!

Pittsburgh-second worst experience of my visiting career. There are some big dudes in Pittsburgh and they don't take kindly to any visiting team! Probably one of the most knowledgeable fan bases.

Indy-Very friendly with practically more female fans than I've ever seen. It seemed to be a more sophisticated crowd both times I was there. New Orleans-Great fans that were more about the party than the game. Awesome place to spend Thanksgiving!

I still don't know why they had such a swoon mid season there, i mean i'm familiar with the litany of excuses, but to me it falls on coaching.  I don't think Dogballs and Frazier have what it takes to win big games.  I don't think they're going to all of a sudden develop the killer instinct required to do so.   The worst case scenario is to waste JA's best years on figuring that out as an organization.

Agreed, I like McDermott and he should still be our HC, but he has to get two better, more knowledgable Coordinators. Frazier is absolutely horrendous and I pray that some team disagrees with me and hires him, and Daboll is damn lucky to have a young, future HOF QB in Josh Allen, that he will eventually wreck, if he keeps running the crap out of him. That blank look that Frazier has on the sideline reminds me of that bonehead McCarthy with the Cowboys! I don't think either of them has a clue what is going on. Frazier made no adjustments at halftime! The Bills cannot keep up with the speed of KC, so you have to be more physical than them and jam the WR's and TE's at the line, all night long. The only thing that will make me feel good after this game, is if Daboll and Frazier take other jobs!!!

The run game is a glaring weakness even tho they are 6th in the NFL in rushing and average over 5.3 YPC per rush in between the 20s?

The only real issue with the run game statistically is they are poor rushing inside the RedZone and especially poor inside the 10, averaging 3.3 and 2.2 YPC there.

The run game is not a weakness! Daboll's insistence on not using the run game, is a problem. He's in love with Josh's arm and calls too many pass plays. We have a good run game and a good O line, we just need to utilize it more!

It’s about their football philosophy.  If you’re the more physical team, you always have a chance.  We are rarely the more physical team.

I couldn't agree more! The players play like their coaches personality, and that appears to be even keel, take what you give me. They just don't seem to have any fight in them. I was at the Jacksonville game and I thought for sure that they'd come out of the tunnel the second half, and take the game over. There does not seem to be any urgency in the way they play either!! They try to be a finesse team, and it's rare that that works in the NFL.

I think we make the playoffs as a wild card. No way we win this division. BB is 10x smarter than SM, and hopefully we don't get swept by the Pats! Spencer Brown and Feliciano are our two best guys on the O line, so I'm not as worried about the O line, as I am the D line and the fact that we forgot how to tackle. Why are we trying to tackle everyone around the neck?? Good teams go low and we're going high and missing a ton of tackles. Penalties are also killing us!! Where is the discipline Coach McD??? I've got us going 10-7 and winning one playoff game, but this will go down as one of the most disappointing years in a long damn time!

I don’t see the fit here, unless:

    1) they feel like severely restricting Gore’s carries (highly unlikely) or

    2) they still have very little trust in Singletary and would rather have him watch more, play less (stupid)

Me neither. We barely use the guys we have, number 1, but Gordon fumbled at the 1 foot line in a crucial game. The man can't be trusted. We need to look at picking up a couple of Defensive Tackles! It's obvious that Star L is a bust!!

This "hot take" made me chuckle.

I don't know if you're serious or not, but it was amusing nonetheless. Peterman is trade bait because he played decent in 1 preseason game....the logic around that one is hilarious.

So are you saying since he had one bad game last year, in which Dennison should have been fired on the spot for his game plan, that he's not a good QB?

  9. Take my car in to change the oil today and the guy filling out the paperwork ask me about my Bills license plate bracket. Tell him that it mine and that I grew up there. He tells me that he played for the Bills. I can't find any information on him. Any help out there?

Maybe his nickname is Buddy?! What city are you in?

  10. PLEAAAAASEEEE. Fitz is not a long term answer for this franchise. He's nearly an effective stopgap, and if we do in fact get the number 1 overall pick, we're taking a QB.

So you want to take a gamble on a QB when there really aren't that many Sure things out there and Fitz is emerging?? We need Defensive linemen and Offensive lineman more than we need a QB. You have no clue. Why is Fitz not a long term answer? Please explain. Have you heard of late bloomers.

DL and LB's? We picked up Dwan Edwards, and took 2 D-linemen with our first 3 picks and you still think we'll go d-line with a possible number 1, 2 or 3 draftt pick? What D-lineman is worth that spot in college football right now? Nobodys gonna wanna trade up with us and pay that much money for a player. We're taking a QB. NOTHING wrong with taking a QB and having him sit for a year or 2

A great line makes average QB's look good and all great teams have great lines, on offense and defense.

  11. Wrong... Try he is the most complete back on the team!

You have no clue! He doesn't hold a candle to Fred Jackson, and Spiller is gaining on Lynch after a couple of games. The only time that he gains any yards, are when he has a hole, you could drive a truck through. He waddles back and forth, even when he's in the open field and he doesn't need to fake anyone out. Fred Jackson beat him out fair and square as a D-3 player and Marshawn a 1st round pick out of a Major D-1 School. Marshawn had every opportunity to be the man, and obviously never lived up to his billing. Hopefully you were just kidding when you made that statement.

  12. Some of you may have seen my posts here before. My wife and I moved down to Nashville from Rochester close to 10 years ago for the music business, a great "day job" at Vanderbilt and because we had family in the area. We had our daughter here and have loved living in Nashville.

But i had never been to LP Field for a Titans game. Saw a World Cup qualifier there once though. It's a nice stadium. Not too flashy. Kinda reminds me a little bit of Frontier Field, just a bigger version. But I don't think the atmosphere is anywhere near as rockin' as the Ralph. It might have been because I was in the end zone bowls, but I thought the Ralph would come crashin down when the faithful got into it at Orchard Park. ;-)

It seats about 65000 - but the kicker of course, is there's a great corporate support here for the Titans. I don't support the Titans because I think the owner is an ass.

There were some Bills fans sprinkled thru the stadium. One of them at the back of our section was pretty loud and all decked out in Bills gear. Was borderline obnoxious - but no one really gave him a tough time. I think the Titans fans kinda felt bad for the Bills fans actually.

It was 75 or close to it and sunny and a lovely, lovely day in November in Nashville. ;-)

Anyways, my friend had an extra season ticket and I got to go to the game for free. Got to tailgate with some very cool Titans fans who were very hospitable and put out a great spread. It was just a very fun, enjoyable experience.

Then the game broke out...These are just my own opinions, take them for what you will:

    1) This Bills team is a travesty and an embarrassment to the Buffalo Bills legacy. I've only been a Bills guy since the Super Bowl years. So I am not sure what folks had to endure in the 70s, but this team with some notable exceptions, is dispassionate, devoid of pride and incredibly uninspired.

    2) TO is an embarrassment. I'd cut him yesterday. Sure he had some emotional outbursts. I was actually for that. Nice that someone is angry. But his utter lack of effort on the field off the ball unless he gets the ball is just disgusting. I wish Darryl Talley had some one on one time with him in a locked room. He's just plain bad and unmotivated. I could tell when it was a run and when it was a pass, based on his body language.

    3) It is bad when the opponent's fans know when your coach is making bad decisions. Like the bad clock management at the end of the first half. Not putting someone under the goal posts at the end of the half when they were trying a field goal. Not taking the holding call penalty to push them back in the second half (though I'm not sure it would have made a difference).

    4) I had a pair of binoculars and checked the Bills sideline from time to time. All I can tell you is that the coaches looked like they were winging it. "You come in, you go out. No, wait a minute. Never mind." You get the idea. they also had a bit of the 'deer in the headlights' look. In contrast, the Titans' sideline looked "in control" even when they were down.

I think it's safe to say that the players have lost confidence in the staff and that the staff has lost confidence in a lot of the players. Though I'm sure both parties "like each other"...a lot.

    5) Our OL is beyond bad. Our interior got some nice push on some runs but the truth is they are woefully undermanned. Our tackles suck big time even before Bell went out. No aggression there at all.

    6) With all respect to Poz fans, he is an above average player and not a game changer at all. He was doing the London Fletcher pursue from behind play most of the game. Sometimes he was even bowled over. I don't get it. Same goes for our other LBs. Bryan Scott was a gamer but he again was overmatched at LB.

    7) Our DL without Kyle Williams was woeful. Aaron Schobel is a second tier DE. Just doesn't have strength at point of attack anymore. Stroud had an okay game. McCargo was not bad. But as an unit they need some big bodies up front that can hold the opposition. The Titans OL struggled early in pass protection and run blocking, but as the game went on they imposed their will on the Bills.

    8) I'm really happy with our secondary. They gave up some big plays - but there was no push upfront from our DL and VY can make plays with his feet. I still don't think he is a legit long term QB solution. He doesn't have the mental part of the game.

    9) Fred Jackson is a stud. Marshawn Lynch is not. Together with Byrd and the rest of the secondary. Evans and Wood. I think there is a good nucleus there. I also liked the way Josh Reed played. Guy wants to win.

Someone needs to step up and be the field general though. Coz God knows the QBs are not.

    10) The pass from Jackson to Evans was a thing of beauty. Evans ran towards us for that touchdown. Nice!

    11) TO needs to sit. Steve Johnson needs to play.

    12) Watching Chris Johnson run is a beautiful thing.

    13) I'd trade for 3 things from the Titans:

    a) Chris Johnson

    b) Jeff Fisher/Mike Heimerdinger (OK, this is two)

    c) Titans Cheerleaders, they are seriously hot! Doctor, I have a fever: http://bit.ly/3KWvhm

I really hope the Bills lose out. That way a complete house cleaning/exorcism will be in order.

    C

I was at the game as well only I was on the 45, 5 rows up, on the Bills side and got a great view of what goes on during the game on the Bills sidelines. There is absolutely no enthusiasm and this is all a reflection of their fearless leader DJ. The only guy that seemed amped was Marcus Stroud. As much as I have been a supporter of Trent, I'm losing faith. The line is definitely a problem, but he is not getting rid of the ball, nor looking anyone off. Trent has talent, but I'm afraid there is no heart in this kid! He shows very little emotion on the sideline, it's looks like the guys have already cashed it in! You made a number of good points and I'm with you all of the way on the TO/Steve Johnson thing, but the best point is about Fred Jackson vs. Lynch. Fred Jackson is probably the best player that the Bills have, and for the Bills to split time with Lynch is a travesty. We need to keep Lynch healthy and trade him, there are plenty of back up RB's in the NFL, that we could replace him with, and hopefully pick up an LB or OL. Nashville is a great place to live, I lived in Franklin, before moving to Bham, and loved it.

  13. He is the best coach in the NFL.

That's right: better than Belichick. I said it. Why? Because he prepares and wins, AND his players love him.

I would sacrifice my left nut to have him as coach of the Bills. Thankfully, I'll never have to make that choice. It'll never, ever happen.

Belichick, are you kidding me? There is nobody in the NFL or College football that is better than Belichick and I hate the Patriots! Fisher is however, a great coach, prepares well, and is very innovative. I would rank him in the top 5 coaches in the NFL now though, but highly doubt that Ralph will hire someone that wasn't a yes man.

  14. No he didn't. Checking down WAY too fast. TO blew by his guy on one checkdown and if Trent had held the ball one fking second longer and chucked it, its a Touchdown.

He is too scared to play QB in this league. Get us a QB that will use his weapons and throw where angles dare to tread and this team can maybe do something.

You must have been watching a different game! You have no clue. He took what NE gave him and did a great job of it. TO and Lee both dropped passes that were right to them. Did he look scared when he ran for first downs? Hardly, Trent played a helluva game in a hostal stadium vs. the best coach in the game and we should have won if Leodis didn't eff up the game.

  15. 1.KC

    2.Pitt

    3.Denver

    4.Buffalo

Why any self-respecting Bills fan would list his own group of fans 4th, is beyond me. KC fans are loud, but didn't seem to be as hardcore as most Bills fans that I've been around. Denver, what "Metzelaars Lives" wrote, and Pittsburgh, well they maybe great fans, but they rank behind the Bills on my list.

  16. Maybe he's not selling enough jerseys for Brandon to want to resign him. I'd rather the Bills sign him to a solid contract than bring in some over the hill 3rd running back like Fred Taylor.

No way, Taylor jerseys would sell much faster than Jackson jerseys, I say drop Freddie and pick up Taylor. You have to think like Brandon.

  17. Well yeah, it's certainly an educated guess that bills practices are easier than most teams...but I just can't stand people who have the audacity to make bold, sweeping statements like "Complete opposite of Jauron's approach" without any sort of solid evidence. Maybe he's a taskmaster in practice, but the players still respect and like him as a man. Fact is, we don't know for sure.
You're right, we don't know, but whatever he's doing he needs to change next year, because you can't keep doing the same thing over again and expect different results. The only way we can get a feel for his practices is by the results.... and they're not what they should be.
