7-9 we beat the Jets just becuase they won't have anything to play for.

  2. I think what this all boils down to is how Spiller is going to be used......

I can envision Chan Gailey using this kid A LOT keep in mind that Chan views him as a RB/WR hybrid........

I think Lynch is gone......this team therefore needs a runner (you cant ask Fred Jackson to carry the whole load) and a reciever (We have Lee Evans, an unknown at TE, and 2 young wide receivers

Spiller is the kind of back you have to game plan for........I have no problem with this pick

I will throw this out there as well......every player you would rather have at 9 (or trade down for that matter...EVERY ONE) every one of them has a ? mark in their game....

Bulaga? People saying not a Left Tackle

    Anthony Davis? Character issues?

Dan WIlliams? Not a pass rush threat

McClain - gone to the raiders

    Okung - gone

    Trent Williams - gone

Jimmy Clausen - Still on the board at this point

But look at Spiller.....no character issues, equally superemely talented at both running and pass catching, explosive special teamer, ACADEMIC ALL AMERICAN

What is not to like about this pick.....a couple other things:

    - This team needs a left tackle.....they have RT's they drafted for guards last year they have a veteran center

    - We have EIGHT MORE PICKS and the Marshawn Lynch chip to play with

    I love the first pick

That is a very good point. I don't see a pressing need for an OL because of all the OL we have signed/drafted over the last 2-3 years. Don't forget 4 out of the 5 OL we started Week 1 last year hadn't played an NFL down at OL. This is a young line that with time could become good enough.

That being said, the Bills probably will take a OT at 41 and will most likely wait for a Pike or LeFeavour in Round 3 or trade back into the 2nd round to get a NT.

The Bills have the oppurtunity to be big players tonight if they play their cards right.

  3. A 4-0 start skewed what this team really is, an above average team in a parity filled league. A team that’s capable of beating anybody, while still being capable of losing to anybody.

It’s safe to say we have all fallen back to earth, but is falling back to earth such a bad thing?

At the start of the season if somebody told me we would be 5-3 in a tie atop the division I would have been pretty damn happy.

Now we have a fight on our hands, and if you didn’t expect that or it makes you hit the doom button shame on you. What we do from this point forward will define our season. Not the last two weeks.

    Amen. you are spot on.

  4. Nov. 9 @ New England 1:00pm

    Nov. 17 Cleveland 8:30pm

    Nov. 23 @ Kansas City 1:00pm

    Nov. 30 San Francisco 1:00pm

    Dec. 7 Miami* 4:05pm

    Dec. 14 @ NY Jets 1:00pm

    Dec. 21 @ Denver 4:05pm

    Dec. 28 New England 1:00pm

@ New England: Defense shows up but we lose a close one on a phantom call by the refs. Bills fall to 5-4

Cleveland: The Ralph will be rocking and the Bills cruise to 6-4.

@ Kansas City: Arrowhead is a tough place to play but without a defense or a good QB, KC will be dominated by a reinvigorated Bills team. 7-4

San Francisco: Since when can the west coast come to the east coast and win?? 8-4

Miami: Buffalo takes the momentum from the last 3 weeks and goes on cruise control for the first 3 quarters before a last minute Evans TD puts the game away. 9-4

@ New York Jets: Buffalo blitzes Favre and walk out of the Meadowlands with a close victory and their tenth win. 10-4

@ Denver: Buffalo heads to the mile high city and stumbles in the cold. 10-5

New England: In a game for the division, the Bills and Pats fight through the cold, snowy and windy conditions. The Bills win the game with a last second 23 yard FG by Lindell. 11-5

It is very realistic the Bills finish with double digit wins.

  5. The biggest reason we lost was the O-line. They hindered our running game and gave Trent no time to look deep. It is tough to go deep when 2 guys are constantly in your face within 3 seconds of snapping the ball. The D only allowed 1 TD. Our D held them to 3 most of the time. if our o-line could have stepped up maybe we could have put up points every possesion.

  6. We are 5-3, Miami and New York are beatable teams, We still have KC, SF, and Cleveland. Denver isn't looking good either lately. That could be another 6 wins. NE isn't a great team either. They just have the refs on their side a lot. The point of being a fan of a team is too rally behind them when things aren't going right and be there to support them. Besides, who else is looking good in the AFC???

    New England 5-2

    Jets 5-3

    Bills 5-3

    Pitt 5-2

    Baltimore 5-3

    Denver 4-4

    Tennessee 8-0

    Miami 4-4

    Indy 3-4

That's 9 teams for 6 spots. If NE, Pitt, Denver and Ten hold onto the division lead, that leaves the Jets, Bills and Ravens for 2 spots. I like our chances.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going, so if you were a Bills fan 7 hours ago, you must stay loyal and Billieve that we are a good team and we will be successful.

This is the time the Bills need the support of the fans. I beg you to Billieve. We very well can go 11-5.

I still BILLIEVE and ask you join me in supporting the Bills.

  7. Even if Rothlisberger isn't given the TD, the ball is at the 1 inch line and more than likely they're gonna get it on the next play.

Doubt it, it was a 3rd down play if I remember correctly, so they would have kicked a field goal.

The officials weren't the deciding factor. The Steelers out-played and out-coached the Seahawks.

Not sure what game you were watching, but from my perch, the Seahwaks moved the ball with ease.

Anyway, the replay showed the ball crossing the white endzone line.

I need your eyes. I was watching that game on a 60 inch TV in HD, and 10 people all said it was NOT a touchdown.
