Don't get me wrong but doesn't Mr Hargreaves play in Germany rather than Britain?
The truth is he wouldn't get in many big clubs' sides, despite being an international, he really isn't all that....
He rarely starts for England, and for me doesn't play well when he does, an everage joe if you like, if there was no commentary you wouldn't know he was playing...
As for being the best player from North America... not that much competition he's had in the past for that claim, but I'm sure y'all will keep churning them out...
As long as good ole Eddie Lewis does well for Leeds and USA I'll be a happy bunny
P.s, it's not just football where people choose to represent England when they are born elsewhere, in cricket one of England's best players is South Afican by birth...
Oh and as for Lennox Lewis... he only claims to be English when it suits him.... You would hardly bump into him in Harrods, unless they opened one in New York

Read into it what you will mate, but I am not a fan of England's national side....
I am proud to be English etc, but the national side and our Football Association is a joke, the other night when Northern Ireland beat England, I was much happier when Leeds' David Healy scored the goal to beat them than I could be seeing England score..
Overpaid and under performing buffoons

Besides...
Everything on the radio sounds the same!
*dons limey jacket and goes back over pond with rocket in ass*

No but Coldplay and EVERY SINGLE BRITISH BAND THAT HAS FOLLOWED THEM SOUNDS THE SAME!!
Now that confuses me, I'd say Keane are the closest to sounding like them but even that sound is different...
-
Coldplay and Sting??
Never heard that before and personally can't see it, hey but I quite like Coldplay
Great song writing, great songs and emotional music not rivalled in last 5 years...
Saying that the whole music scene of the last 10 years has sucked really so it's not surprising they are one of the most popular

Hopefully you are a BILLS fans as well as this is a Bills message board. Most of us soccer fans -- especially those on this board -- love our football as well because as one of our commercials goes "football is football, unless of course it's futbol."
That being said welcome. How's Eddie Lewis doing?
If you're looking for football/soccer talk you gotta head over to www.bigsoccer.com. Millions of people visit that soccer message board.
Thanks for that Mr Clutch, I'll check that one out
My knowledge of NFL could be written on the back of a stamp, but I'm getting there
Eddie has looked promising in opening games, still likes to cut in a bit much for my liking, but over all I am thrilled to have him
You gotta see his face at full time, when the players come up and clap the fans (mostly at away (road) games). Obviously we are all in full song, bursting with pride and the smile on his face is awesome! He looks over awed by it, as at Preston they can hardly rival us Leeds lads
Back to NFL, I am hopint to visit the states in 2007, and without a doubt a BILLS game will be essential. I wanna join in the tailgate parties and have some of those wings you all talk about so much
I watched some of the play offs last year, wild card weekend Jets V Chargers was very enjoyable, but don't get me wrong, if I have a side it is the BILLS, and ART has got me more than just curious, I swear if you cut him in half you'd see the word BILLS in his blood

Hello people,
A quick introduction before I go ahead with my post. I am a 23 year old lad from Essex (London-ish) UK, and a HUGE Leeds United Fan
I was shown this thread by one of your countrymen, who also happens to be a Leeds fan
I just love it when you see people getting into the world of football, and enjoying it as much as I do
That video of Beasley's goal is quality, brought goosbumps to my arms seeing football fans celebrating on impulse, a feeling I don't think you can better!! I love seeing the rise of the real FOOTBALL () in the states and the rest of the world, it really is a quality game
Glad to see you winning at the weekend, and see you in Germany '06
