  1. Yes they do. 10 SACKS PER F@#$ING YEAR. They speak loudly. And unless the IR is quitting, he didn't quit on the Texans. How many times must we go over this?

I'm not defending his performance last year, but lets make honest arguments rather than push some butt hurt narrative.

OK, he was butt hurt by the Texans to use your slang and only quit against the run while with them.

Mario is still a quitter, last year speaks for itself, good riddance.

  2. Its certainly possible. But you weren't arguing that he's on the decline or doesn't have anything left in the tank. You said:

I thought it was worth pointing out that by your definition, tanking means an average of 10 sacks per season. I wish all our DEs tanked like that.

Mario's played for 2 teams and quit on 2 teams, his stats speak for themselves.

He robbed the Bills last year and was one of the major factors in them missing the playoffs but if you want to defend someone who stole our lunch money and kicked us in the nuts so be it.

  3. Miami is a disaster the deal for Alonzo/Maxwell is back on, enjoy your overpaid/washed up/injured defense.

Dolphins acquired WLB Kiko Alonso, CB Byron Maxwell, and the No. 13 overall pick in the 2016 draft from the Eagles in exchange for the No. 8 overall pick in this year's draft.

Alonso was thrown into the deal as a way to sweeten the pot for the Dolphins to take on mega-bust, damaged goods CB Byron Maxwell and his disgusting six-year, $63 million contract. Alonso is coming off a 2014 torn ACL of his own and again partially tore the same ligament last season before returning for the final nine games of the season after missing seven weeks. When healthy, Alonso is a dynamic, athletic, rangy linebacker, but he comes with a ton of risk.
  4. Get on the phone Whaley.

CSN Philly's Geoff Mosher reports the Eagles may release LG Evan Mathis if they can't trade him.

PFF's No. 1 guard in 2013 and No. 2 guard last season, we're not sure why the Eagles are so inclined to get rid of Mathis. The Eagles are between $7-8 million under the cap, so they're not desperate for money. Shedding the 33-year-old would save $4.5 million. At 6'5/298, Mathis is an athletic guard and would ideally land in another zone-blocking scheme. Mathis could probably be had for a fifth-round pick. The Rams and Dolphins were linked to him earlier this month.
  5. This is another interesting move by Doug Whaley. He is paying really huge dollars for a TE who hasn't really proven he is an elite player. In addition, the player is often injured. Doug Whaley must believe he is in the class of Gronkowski and Graham? Otherwise, it doesn't make sense.

Miami paid 100K less for Cameron would you be OK if the Bills had him and his scrambled brains instead?

  6. I love all the haters around the internet knocking the deal/Clay especially the Miami Herald, Sun-Sentinel, ESPN with their Bills hate/FA jealousy and twisted logic.

The Bills are essentially paying him 550K more than the franchise tag that Miami slapped on him for one year but over 5 years. 7.05mil is Miami's offer, Bills are paying 7.6mil over 5.

Sorry Miami that you are paying Cameron 7.5mil or 100K less than what Clay is getting and his head is made of glass.

  7.    I just read this on ESPN.

McCown is a 12-year NFL veteran who went 1-10 in his only season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before being released by the team earlier this month. Overall, he has a 17-32 career record split among six teams.

    WTF?!?!?!?!?!!?

  8. This is true, but all this says to me is that Marrone is not respected by his peers. Marrone brought Pettine and now Pettine is bringing or at least WANTS to bring the WHOLE defensive staff with him.

The most exciting part and most successful part of our team is being tampered with. Leaves us with no expectations for next year. I really hope Schwartz knows what he's doing cuz if not, bye bye Marrone. Maybe it's for the better if it plays out that way who knows. But that also means 2015 we're cleaning house again. Smh.

This on the heels of Schwartz implicitly stating that his respect for Marrone was a main reason why he didn't sit home to collect millions of dollars?

    Jim Schwartz Opening Statement:

I’m not one for a whole lot of opening statements or anything. I do want to thank Doug, Doug and Russ for the opportunity. I’ve been an admirer of this organization for a long time and Coach Marrone mentioned having respect for people you go against. I think some of the kind words he had for me are reciprocated. I feel the same way about him.
