  1. I hate how bi-polar the media is.

0-2 - Rex is the worst coach in the league

3-2 - Rex is the best coach in the league

    Sigh

The problem with this type of response (and from many others in this thread, not trying to single you out) is that the phrase "the media" assumes, in this context, that every media member is joined in some sort of collective group-think and there is no individualism among them. It would be different if, perhaps, this same individual author who wrote Rex might be one of the best coaches in the league after Week 5, also wrote that he was one of the worst after Week 2. That would be something to complain about. For all we know, this guy has always thought Rex to one of the best, and now he is choosing to write about it. But to be exasperated because other media members, not connected to this guy in any way, were blasting Rex at 0-2 just makes no sense. This will always happen, in any situation or circumstance.

  2. Keurig machines produce an incredible amount of non-recyclable waste; do a search about it. The machines I have seen do not brew 16oz cups, but there could be machines that do it. I'd imagine the coffee would be thin, however, as K-cups all seem to be the same size. Best advice: Get a pour-over Bunn machine. Great tasting coffee, 16-48oz, no problem.

Good luck to your daughter, and to you!

  3. Funny how so many claim to not watch ESPN here, but clamor and search and yearn for every opportunity for approval from ESPN about the Bills.

You do realize that the board is made up of individual people, and isn't one collective train of thought? Who specifically has claimed not to watch ESPN and then yearned for every opportunity for approval?

  4. Tampa gets those games because the owner of the Bucs also owns Manchester United and they lobby for it.

I doubt it gets them any fans in London though, Man U fans hate - and I mean hate - the owners. Google love united hate glazer.

Might not be a big deal since Manchester United plays in Manchester and not London - London football fans (Chelsea, Arsenal, etc) could care less about Man U's owners...if anything they might like the Glazers since Man U fans hate them.

  5. I think our "honorable mention" at 11 is fair enough. I think all of the teams he named above us would win on a neutral field. It's nice that we are 4-1, but we can't keep relying on 4 interceptions per game to win. The defense just can't be trusted to stop drives without turnovers.
