  1. Actually he's a cross between Jim Jones and Hunter Thompson. Has a large moat with baby seals surrounding his complex. Will gut one when in a mood.  Mumbles incoherently into a PA system with terms like " Anarchy... less gov't... get off my tundra or die...". He seems to love kool-aid. The clay skeet exploding out of the sky at all hours keeps the curious at bay.

I'm sensing he has few disciples. Doesn't play well with others. The sled dogs are a wreck around him.

    Nice

will his ashes be shot out of a cannon as well?

  2. Hey...for all you Floyd fans out there...if you weren't aware, there is the most amazing tribute band, called The Machine

These guys are absolutely incredible.  I've seen them four or five times, and each time have been blown away by not only how well they nail their songs, but by what great musicians they are.

They do tour nationally from time to time (see the link above).  I highly recommned taking in a show.

I saw them and they are very good - funny looking, but very good. This is coming from the biggest Floyd fan out there (actually, I may need some help.)

Concerning the Wizard of Oz thing - yeah that is old, but cool to do when you are in college with your buddies and - uh, studying. :P

If you really want to get weird - Google "publius" and "pinkfloyd" and "enigma." The "Enigma" wasted much of my time in college! But if you like mysteries, the Federalist Papers, and weird stevestojan, than this is for you.

  3. I used to have a high regard for that movie.  For the first time, I realized that it was written, produced, and directed by Michael Moore.

I damn near vomited when there was actually a scene (after John Candy and co. "invade" Ontario) where Michael Moore was wearing a Bills hat.

    :)

GASP! You mean you can't cast people in black & white terms! You mean the person who advocates for the politically progressive ideas you are so scared of can make or say something you like? Someone you hate did something you like?No way!

  4. You are giving him a free pass on missed blocks, sacks galore and wrong passing routes but hey, dont let me stand in your way!  ;)

    :D That is exactly right.

I ahve never been a HEnry fan. He has always been a stupid one-demensional RB. He missed more blocks and f-ed up more plays than I care to remember. It must haev been infuriating to coach this guy.

  5. Everyone keeps saying "Sullivan is an armchair pundit." Blah, blah, blah.

However, last offseason he kept saying that Henry should be traded. His point was that Henry's value would plumit if we kept him as a second string back. Sullivan is not now coming up with this opinion in hindsight. This was his opinion from the get-go.

Now, you can criticize his original point - but you have to admit that he was right.

  6. Though he is being consistent. He was very critical last off season for not trading Henry because he thought his value had peaked after coming off a decent season. Now, after a season sitting on the bench, Henry being one year older (every year is Huge for RBs) his value has decreased. In this way Sullivan is correct.

  7. That movie ruined the transformers as a franchise. You don't kill off all the favorite characters and expect kids to just care about new ones just like that. The other factor is that the original toys were built solid, mostly metal based. Then they started putting out toys in 100% plastic....

They has some pretty cool recent incarnations - such as Beast Wars. Yeah, the metal transformers were awesome, especially Jetfire (large white jet). I wish I had all of them because they are worth a fortune now.

  8. I liked the cassette player with the tapes that turned into a bird.  I'm getting old and can't remember the names offhand...

That would have been Soundwave. I was a transformers geek. I had all of them, saw all the cartoons, and I own the Transformers movie (the cartoon).

  9. But sue him? Take him to court and SUE him? For freakin' herpes?

Once again the world would be a different place if everyone practiced personal accountability and not contact a lawyer the second they feel someone has wronged them.

WHAT! He infected her with an infectous disease!!!!! As I said, her having unprotected sex goes to the issue of negligence - but this is a CLEAR case of battery. At least if he had conformed with his legal duty and informed her that he was a human petri dish she could have made an informed decision. He deprived her of that right, exposed her, and infected her. IF there ever was a reason to sue, giving someone a noncurable and socially stigmatized disease is a good one!
