    The Bills v Raiders on a monday night game. First or second year

    @ Rich Stadium. The Raiders had not lost on a Monday Night game.

    The lead changed 3 times in the last 5 minutes of the game with the Bills winning it with about 20 seconds left.

    I think that the game also featured the idiot from Toronto doing the high wire act.

    If we don't take the money someone else will. So we might as well grab some. Getting stimulus money for a new stadium is not a bad idea at all. It should be a dome and should be closer to Toronto. Right in Niagara Falls is not a bad place for it. In fact I could see actually getting a Super Bowl if the stadium were in the Falls right at the border. You'd have the hotels and entertainment attractions right there.

     

    Instead of Canadian fans driving over, they could park in Canada and walk across the Rainbow Bridge. That would make border crossing that much easier. You could even build a covered heated walkway so it's more comfortable.

    I can see the Grand Island bridges lined up back to the Peace Bridge on game days,if you think the traffic is bad now,that 8A.M. start in the morning wouldn't be to tailgate,it would be to get to the game on time.

    That makes a lot of sense. He interviewed for the Jets head coaching job last year and obviously didn't get it. Yet he stayed on to coach. If you had any pride, you would have left. He just sounds like a guy who is happy to be an assistant. That is definitely not a guy we need here. and it's not like we talking about some offensive genius here either. his gameplan is just run the ball behind a great oline and keep his QB from passing. Not too hard.

    This is not a endorsement of Shotenheimer for hc,but he has done a pretty good job of putting Sanchez in manageable situtations.

     

    all you have to do is think about Joe Ferguson,and how he was handled for his rookie year.I used to go crazy thinking that we should let him throw the ball more.Well He turned out to be one of our best QB's,and our game plan with him was to just run the ball behind a very good OL.with OJ and Braxton.

    Why not do the Denver game the year they came in here with their new fullback Cookie Gilchrist.

    I was at that game and he seemed to be carring the ball on every down,i think he had over 200 yds.

    By the start of the 4th quarter he was exhausted,and didn't do much. This was the first time he played against the bills.after the trade to the Broncos(we got Billy Joe) I also think that the Bills eventually won the game.

    Remember Joe D pulling and leading the sweep arround end.

    Can you see any of these fat slobs doing that.They seem to make the initial block and then just quit on it.

    That goes back to desire to make the play.Look at the Patriots guards pulling,the Steelers trap blocking .

    Dallas's power sweep.

    Then we have these over paid under acheivers that Joe D is refering to.

    I don't know if he would be a good coach,but maybe he might light a fire under their butts,and bring some accountability.
