  1. There are 2 unbelievable players this year playing QB and they are on teams that aren't producing blow winning teams: Arizona and New Orleans. Both QB are producing 300 yards per game and a 100 QB rating. Phenomenal right?

New Orleans is 4-4 and the Cardinals, with today's win, are 5-3. Put their season together and you have a 9-7 season.

This relates to Edwards in every way because both of those teams can't run the ball. Trent actually played a pretty good game with a 90 QB rating until his last pic (which was his fault), and the other pic probably wouldn't have happened with Roscoe on his feet. Despite of what may or may not have happened, all of this chatter about Trent has to stop.

The bottom line is we have won more games with him under center than we have would lose with our other options. If Warner and Brees can't have strong winning seasons averaging 300 yards a game and 100 QB ratings well what the hell do you want with a guy who is playing as a top 10 QB without a running game?

At some point you have to get past the stats and realize without Edwards what kind of shape we would be in. We sure wouldn't have won with Farve playing for us today.

WE LOST! This is a stupid post. Trent has absolutely stunk the last two weeks. He should be benched!

  2. This team sucks , it is very mediocre. Two more wins if that 7-9 season. A shallow offense and a weak defense and Special teams is going backward.Bottom line is dont get your hopes up

Agreed. Jim Jihnson DC from Philly or Monte Kiffin would have had a game plant. Dick Jaroon and Fuel have zero imagination so we are an easy team to gameplan. Were is Joe Dufek, I think he was wearing #5 today

  3. Wow, being the one who started this thread, I feel I should clarify my intention for this post. Also, as a side note, I never expected to see such a huge response from when I posted it to when I got home. Interesting points.

First off, I like Trent. I also like JP and never liked the bashing that went on. Overall, I love the Bills and don't care if Hitler is the Qb as long as we win. I prefer not Hitler, but if he's got an accurate cannon, fair enough. In any case, I just wanted to point out the total, unwaivering bias that people wanted to protect Trent with and also attack against JP. It always seemed a bit unfair and Trent is starting to have some games that JP had.

Overall, I do believe that Trent is the better QB, but I am starting to wonder if he has enough in him to take us to the next level. I don't have stats for this, so I'm sure someone will dig them up, but his play is starting to show some consistency. Last year, he started a few games and looked great. But then, he just just started to get sloppy. This year, I'm seeing the same thing and wondering which Trent is the real one. I don't think that's an unreasonable thought. I'm afraid that he might be more of a gameplan only guy, and not have that "it" factor. That Jim Kelly, screw the playbook, i'm gonna throw my heart out or die trying, "it" factor. I want him to have it. I wanted JP to have it. At the end fo the day, I want our team to have it.

Overall, I don't think Trent is the problem. Yes, he lost this game for us. Sure the D could have won it back, but Trent did the damage that lost the game. Argue it all you want, but it's what I believe. Trent also lost last week for us. But still, even with that being true, I blame the coaches.

No, we can't run the ball, we don't produce turnovers, and our front four can't generate any pressure. But what teams don't have problems? I think Jauron and his staff have a game-management gameplan that can work, but they don't have contigency plans. Yes, they make adjustments, but nothing major. When Jauron first started, we lost many games in the last few minutes because we made minor mistakes. We won in the beginning of the season, but barely, because we didn't make those mistakes. Now, if we so much as turn the ball over once, we look lost and the flow of the game immediately falls apart.

What I'm alluding to is that I think that the coaches make gameplans and fit our players into it instead of making plans for what our talent allows. I don't know if this makes sense, but to me it does. We still have a young team. We are going to mess up. Our QB is going to have a bad game. Good teams, Great coaches figure it out. I hate to say it, look at the Patriots.

There is something seriously wrong when we lose the first two important games of the season to teams we should beat.

Trent is the problem both today and lastweek. Outside of the first drive today he was LOST! His gamechanging plays cost us today no way around it. No excuses.

  4. The Bills moved the ball all day and shut the Jets down for the most part. They lost because of turnovers and a talent deficiency on the offensive line (Preston and Whittle stink). That's hardly the coaches' fault.

You are in Denial, since the St Louis game we have had the same glaring issues. We can't get off the field on Defense and we can't run the ball. Every game since then our coaches have done nothing to develop a scheme to surprise and confuse the other team, same old BS and we get owned. Then the same old excuses, we tried hard, they made the plays, BS> YThis team is in quicksand one more loss and the entire season will unravel.

  5. 1. Outcoached...AGAIN!

Hey Mangenius, way to teach your player to step out of bounds while recovering a kickoff.

    2. We cannot run the ball.

Don't need to say a thing here!

    3. Stupid penalties.

Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. Nice hold on Moormans run.

    4. PLEASE BLOCK FOR EDWARDS!

Man, we can really see the difference when he has blocking, darn near picks

apart the opposing D with good bloocking, looks rather ordinary with zero blocking.

    5. Not ready for prime-time players.

Move over SNL, these are truly the NOT READY FOR PRIME-TIME PLAYERS!

Second game in a row were we just gave up. I don't know what it is, we come out like gangbusters

then all of a sudden we crap out.

I suspect it has alot to do with the O-line and D-line. When we put zero pressure on the QB,

picked apart...again. When we can't run or pass block, well just watch the game and see what happens.

I would love to see Marshawn be able to JUST RUN THE BALL! He can't even get the 2 yards most runners

get with a good o-line push. He's juking 3 yards deep JUST TO GET BACK TO THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE.

I love this team, and think they are really good. We are just a few o-line and one d-line player from being

    really good.

You are kidding right? This team blows. Soft physically. JP Edwards showed himself today. Nice pass to Revis Trent Losmann

  6. That's a pretty silly assessment. The play calling is putting Edwards in slow-developing plays and the line can not stop their NT or blitzers.

I'm not washing Edwards of this, but to equate him to JP and RJ is inaccurate.

Ya Thanks wern't you guys talking about his smarts, He has been brutal for 3 weeks now
