    best experience ever at game (Even though we lost)

    I was pretty blown away by the HUGE representation Bills fans from Buffalo to California brought out yesterday at Qualcomm Stadium.

    There were Bills fans EVERYWHERE in San Diego from the city to the beach to parking lot tailgate at Qualcomm. Everyone was cool and well behaved from what I saw too. The tailgate that is usually so-so in San Diego was taken up a notch with Buffalo fans occupying at least 40% of the crowd.

    Yes-A team that has been run into the ground over and over again for not one year, or five years but twelve looooong years and counting had made up 40% of the fans at the game. Most fan bases would have checked out 10 years ago...But not loyal Bills fans. You deserve better than this. You deserve a winner for your support. The game SUCKED-but hopefully you had fun in San Diego...Good thing the game was on Sunday too-It is 47' and cold rain here today!

     

     

    Agree !!! I was there. Bad game - great showing of Bills fans !!!!!!!!!!

    I had hoped like all of you that this would be a more meaningful game for all of us.

     

    Now it has turned into just another game on the NFL schedule.

     

    Having said that, I am really looking forward to being in San Diego this upcoming weekend and get a chance to hang out and meet all the Bills fans who are attending.

     

    The San Diego Bills Backers really know how to throw a party, and the tailgate will be awesome, so it will be a great time.

     

    So who else is going?

    I have been debating on whether to put my Bills license plate frame on my car. My car attracts unwanted attention from 20 year olds. I hate to think what a 20 year old Dolphins fan might do :thumbsup:

    I have had a license plate frame for years and I get to meet Bills fans in San Diego all the time. I pointed it out to Andre Reed at my golf club the other month and got a thumbs up and a BIG smile. Show the colors !!

    Wife wants to go to Cancun or Cozumel for our 10yr anniversary. Does anyone have any advice on where to stay and what to expect if we go? Any tips would be helpful. Thanks

    Just came back from Cancun last week and the weather was good. We had a great time and most of the hurricane damage was repaired althought a lot of the plant life was killed by the saltwater. We stayed at the resort (Moon Palace Resort) most of the time. Go and have a great time !!!

    I just came back from the game.

    The Good news : 1. There was a great showing from the Buffalo fans !! The parking lot was full of Buffalo flags and tailgaters. They were loud and proud. 2. JPL looked very good but did make a few "rookie mistakes. If he can have some time he can deliver the ball. He has talent !!

    The bad news : 1. The defense looked lost and confused most of the time. The San Diego's recievers were generally wide open with lots of room to run after the catch. The corners were playing way off and could not tackle. Reed dropped 2 passes that KILLED drives. The ball was delivered and he flat dropped it !!

    Well, at least it was great to meet all the Buffalo fans !!

    Well, I was so depressed as to the game last sunday I went out and purchased a new 50" Sony Wega TV and tickets to the San Diego/Bills games. This has been has expensive week !!! Now, I want to watch the Bills win on my TV from THIS POINT ON !!!!!

    I live @ Crystal Beach from middle of May till Octber 1st. I live in the old amusement  park. It is a gated complex. When you say Crystal Beach is this what mean?

    The good old days. French fries at the beach and my free Crystal Beach Tickets from Bells (????) the number based upon my grades from PS 66 reportcard !!!! The Comet and my favorite suckers. Great memories !!!!

    It came up in a conversation with someone Tuesday night and we go out Friday night.  I've only gone to warmer places on cruises. They have 4, 7 and 10 day trips.  I think 10 days is too long but 4 might be too short.  Anyone? He wants to go to Glazier Bay(sp)

    I went with the family and had a nice time. It was generally a floating restaurant with beautiful views. I highly recommend you get off the boat whenever possible although the tours can become very expensive. For me 10 days would be too long; how much time do you need to see snow and ice ???

    This is a pretty interesting story....at least I like telling it....

     

    - I have this large overgrown oak tree in my front yard....I have hated ever since I bought my house in Hemet over 5 years ago....too large to trim easily...probably would cost a fortune....ant infested....drops tons of leaves and acorns in the fall.....sucks all the nutrients around it for 5 feet so that the expensive sod I put down wont grow right....etc, etc, I remember thinking on several occasions that I would PAY somebody to take the thing away

     

    - So Friday of last week I get a call from the wife....someone shows up on our doorstep and offers to pay $1,000 cash, dig the thing out, take away all the greenwaste junk, chop up the good parts for firewood (all they wanted was the base), clean up, and replace it with a baby oak tree.......

     

    I'm like....RIP HIS ARM OFF AND TAKE THE MONEY BEFORE HE RETRACTS IT.....I remember driving home that day thinking "there is going to be some kind of catch"

     

    But there wasn't.....they did exactly as they said they were going to to do.....

     

    So with my newfound 1K I was thinking about installing solar heating into my pool.  I was wondering if anyone had experience with that at all here.  I think it would cost less to do mine because when I had them biuld the pool I got it "solar ready" so that the solar stubs that lead to the pool are already installed......all someone has to do is put the panels on the roof....and install pipe for what amounts to 5 feet down to the stub......

     

    Anybody got any info?

    I just put a pool in and put in solar. It works great. I live in southern California and during peak times it heats the pool to the high 80s. It also extends the time you can use the pool. Do it !!

    (OT) Anyone have a Tempur-pedic bed?

    We have a 3 inch (or so) pad made of visco foam that cost about $200.  It's nice on top of our high dollar mattress.  I think the Temper stuff is OK, but you're paying an awful lot of money for alot of foam you don't use.

    I also went the cheaper way and bought a 4 inch thick pad on E-Bay and it is great. Both my wife and I had some back issues and the pad has been a great help. The only downside it takes a little getting used to. I highly recommend it !!
