  1. Well let's hope it is the willingness of the FO to spend that attracts him here because it sure as hell won't be the weather!

Can't say that after this winter. Buffalo with only 35 inches of snow all season? That is unheard of. The weather was absolutely perfect for most of the home games last year. Global Warming is in full effect :pirate:

  2. that is important information. thanks for telling us.

Isn't a message board a place for opinions??? This is my opinion on what this teams needs to do in order not to lose ANOTHER fan. Don't throw an a-hole comment out there if you don't like my opinion genius!!!

Sorry Rayzer… I laughed my ass off at Zazie's comment.

    Ya gotta admit

Anyways, 2 of my best-case wishes are the same as yours.

    1) Bring in a viable starting quarterback by whatever means necessary (Fitz becomes mentor/backup)

    2) Re-sign Stevie Johnson (also Chandler, Rinehart, Bryan Scott)

    3) Contract extension for Fred Jackson to be the starting running back

    4) Fire George Edwards

Yeah it was kinda funny, but uncalled for IMO. I'm sure he has made numerous comments that people could care less about.

And good call, I forgot to mention that George Edwards needs to go too. But I think CJ needs every opportunity to be given the chance to be the Bills starting RB next year. He has shown what he can do when he is called upon to be the number 1 guy. I like Fred, but he is getting older and hopefully this injury isn't a sign of what's to become.

  3. I've been a fan for almost 40 years. I'm 43 and as soon I was interested in football I was a Bills fan. But if I am going even bother to watch them next season these three things need to happen. I plan on having a lot of free time on Sundays next football season. Here they are.

    1. Draft a possible franchise QB early in this years draft.

    2. Re-sign Stevie Johnson.

    3. Make CJ Spiller the starting RB. Amazing what a player can do when given a chance.

I believe re-signing SJ might be the most likely of the three to happen. If RG3 is available when the Bills pick comes up and they pass on him....that alone will be enough for me to give up.

  4. Maybe this is Stevie's way to get himself out of Buffalo. He may not want to be here next year and figures the more he does dumb stuff the easier it will be for the Bills to let him walk. Would you want to play for a losing franchise that shows absolutely no effort to get better? The owner sucks, the coach sucks and his QB sucks. He knows if he stays in Buffalo his chances of winning even a playoff spot are slim. I hope they resign him, but if he goes somewhere else I can't wait to see how he might tear it up on a real team. Could you see him w Brady.....he would be unstopable.

  5. Going 10-22 over two seasons is grounds for dismissal.

Losing 9 of your last ten games in your second season after starting out 5-2 is grounds for dismissal.

Losing 49-21 to your most hated rival after leading by 21 points is grounds for dismissal.

Running a ridicuosly predictable spread passing attack without the proper personnel when you have a very solid running attack is retarded!

I honestly just don't think this guy is a winner, and I dont think he can get us to the promised land even with better personnel.

Chan seems best suited as a QB coach, maybe -MAYBE offensive coordinator, but he's not head coaching material.

BUT...I think he deserves one more year, not because he has shown anything, but because it would be detrimental to start over again after two seasons.

    Thoughts?

I don't even believe this. God knows hew has done wonders for Fitzpatrick. He should be in the same trash pile as Johnson, Losman, Edwards, Brohm, Thigpen, Holcomb and every other half ass QB this team has signed since Kelly. This franchise is a joke.

  6. You can have all the weapons on offense you want, but when the QB can't hit the broad side of a barn it doesn't matter who your players are. Did anyone happen to see him throw into triple coverage hitting a linebacker in the head because his pass was so poorly underthrown??? How do people continue to think he is a good QB???

  7. It either hit him in the hands or was no more than 6 inches away.

6 inches???? Either you were smoking some real good crack yesterday or you watched the game on a 13 inch black and white TV. That ball wasn't anywhere near him or catch-able. It was at least two feet from him.

  8. No, he didn't drop two others. That is false. Nelson dropped one that he should have caught, but not Johnson.

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/nfl/gameflash/2011/11/27/4554/index.html#playbyplay

On the first drive, the ball thrown to Johnson was knocked away by Revis. It was not a drop. On the Bills' second last drive, he did catch a deep throw out of bounds (in spectacular fashion, actually) against Revis despite perfect coverage and the fact that Revis tipped the ball as it arrived.

Come on now Dave, you should know by now people here are never wrong no matter what articles or stats might say. Like the people that tell me if the Jets had lost, Burress would have been singing a different tune. I for one am not convinced with that as Burress sat in prison for 20 months and had plenty of time to reflect over his life and may possibly have changed the way he goes about certain things now. He has admitted to not taking anything for granted anymore, and has a stronger understanding of his faith. He may have said the exact same thing if the Bills won. But apparently many people already know that he would have had a different attitude had the Jets lost.

  9. Again, you brought Rice into the discussion, not me.

Rice dropped some but was the best ever. He gets a pass for the occasional miscue. He earned it. Stevie has accomplished little in comparison, has come up small at big moments and has shown himself to be an imbecile.

On top of that he put his team in a hole with sheer stupidity.

Yeah, your understanding of football and logic is a thing to behold.

Well my football logic tells me that Stevie has been a starting WR in the league for not even 2 full seasons yet and Rice played for 20 seasons, so not only that logic, but plain old common sense let's me realize that not only Stevie, but ANY WR in the league will have accomplished little in comparison to Rice after only 2 seasons as a WR. And I brought up Rice again to show you that even he struggled w drops at two different points in his career. That is not comparing the two in the world I live in, but stating facts that many WRs, even the best can have drops. If I had said that I think after 2 years Stevie is as good as Rice was after 2 years....then that would be comparing them, which I clearly did not. You may want to rethink what you say before you make yourself look even sillier after only 10 posts. My God, it's like talking to a trees around here at times. TBD should have their own Wonderlic test that people need to take before they can start posting. I would be glad to take one.

  10. What I think is funny is how everyone says he dropped two passes that could have won us games, Pitt last year and then yesterday's. Who here really believes that if SJ makes those two catches and the Bills win both games, was that gonna get the Bills into the playoffs? No way!!! People make it out to sound as if the Bills didn't have SJ, they would be a better team and that is hilarious. This team has won a lot more games because of Stevie's play and not lost them.

I've been accused of comparing Johnson to Rice, which I clearly did not, but just to bring Rice up again....read this.

    Drops

  11. You just compared Johnson to Rice and are questioning the intelligence of anyone?

Wow, you just answered your own level of intelligence for me with that reply. I did not compare Johnson to Rice anywhere in that statement. I was just merely stating that Jerry Rice, believe it or not, did drop passes in his HOF career. Kinda like Brady, Montana, Manning etc actually throw INTs too. There is not one invincible player in any sport period. Why is this so hard for some to understand???? :wallbash:
