  1. So Clausen is 3rd behind some guy named Hunter Cantwell?

In Charlotte, Hunter is getting good reviews in mini-camp. They are saying he had his mechanics worked on and is throwing lasers. The best looking passes out of the four QBs. Matter of fact, they are saying Clausen is looking the worst with Tony Pike from University of Cincinnati looking better. The Panthers have a tough choice on who to keep with Moore, Cantwell, Clausen and Pike. Someone with potential is going to get cut.

  2. I had the same break over 15 years ago and I am walking fine. Mine was open compound of the tib/fib....They will put a titanium rod in or take a bone graft out of his hip to replace any dead bone if it was open. They have gone a long way on recovery and rehab in 15 years and I expect him on the field and ready to go by the end of training camp. He is a guard so overall speed might be hurt but they move in limited space anyway....Let's cross our fingers...

  3. As bad as it was , I don't argue with the decision. We are horrendous on third down. Take the penalty and I have no doubt that TEN picks up the first , scores a TD and we have no time left. I hate conceding a 3 to the other team, but we can't stop for crap on 3rd down. We suck so bad, it actually makes sense to "hold" them to a FG instead of a chance at another set of downs they are sure to pick up.

and that is the problem with this team..Even the coach has no trust in his defense...You are probably right...they do pick

it up...what message does it send though?

  4. I think that the No-huddle offense needs to go. There are no formational shifts....Evans and TO are always lined up in the same spot....no one is in motion...it is too simple. We have a number of talented personnel with Jackson, Lynch, Evans, TO...Move them around and create mismatches..

  5. Yes it could happen. If the two QBs go then the run on OT maybe up to 3 in the top 10, then 2WRs. Then probably a DT and a DE or two. It very well could happen. If it does, god the Bills better take him. Perfect for the Bills. Would be a day one impact guy. Come back later in round one and go Oline. Then in round two go Dline. In the third take another interior Oline guy.

That would be sweet...Unfortunately, the Bills would draft a SS with one of those pics..

  6. You can't blame the Bills collapse on Edwards.... The Bills best two players are their running backs and no one in the organization can try to design an offense around them. Carolina, NYG, Tenn have all have offenses designed around their running backs and their QBs playaction and work well in a system. That is what we should be trying to accomplish. Jauron has to go because he is soft and stupid and his players play bad under him. We have the pieces to turn this around in one year like Miami, but we will not hire the right people to do so.

  7. Personally, I think that Turk got ahead of himself with Trent. We need to run first and them play off of play-action which I have not seen in Buffalo for a million years. Trent is a young qb and is not ready to lead a spread offense with an empty backfield. This offseason we need to fix the interior oline and get back to running the football. We have two good running backs like Tenn and Carolina and they run the ball fine and pass when they have to. Why??? Cause they have a good o-line and coachs who are committed to running the football. Just my opinion....

  8. The classic thing is... And get this hoot!

Congress has a lower approval rating than GWB... But... And that is a BIG BUTT:

Almost HALF of the people in this country think that the Republicans control Congress!

I would like to see proof of that statement!.....besides people are starting to figure out that a Demo congress is as bad as

a Republician one. As soon as GW goes away, Demo will have no one to blame........Obama will fall after one term.....if he wins...

    :worthy:B-):wallbash:

  9. What has Obama accomplished being in the US senate for less than one term. Senators don't really do anything. They have a less than 10% percent approval rating worse than GW which is horrible. She really has no experience just like Obama except he is running to be President.

Plus the arguement that McCain picked her because she is a woman is a double edge sword for the Democrats. It may be true but isn't it insulting to her as a person? If the media who as annointed Obama as the chosen one, comes after her too much it could hurt Obama because it could look like discrimination against women. Could be a backlash...

Not sure about the pick until I see her debate Biden, but McCain is going for the long ball..

Representing that I have a problem with the constitutional rights of the citizens of the United States just because I said it wouldn't help the 'liberal female' vote that she was in NRA is being ridiculous. What's wrong with the NRA? You can generalize this country and pretend there is no gray area if it makes your argument work, I guess, but that's not my point and I'm fairly certain you know it. My problem has nothing to do with the people who use the guns in ways that are safe to the community. I have a problem with the ability of drug dealers getting AK 47's on street corners in rural america. The NRA generalizes statements and philosophies allowing everyone to carry guns which isn't always the safest rationale for a better America. If one group needs to reform the way it does business, it's the NRA.

Yet that wasn't my point. My point was that liberal women in america aren't going to gravitate to a woman who was in the NRA and I believe the point isn't debatable. Further, how do you know I'm a democrat? I said there were two better picks for the Republican party, what makes you think that means I'm Democrat?

Also about Obama. Before you start comparing their career paths and accomplishments you should do some research. What either has accomplished or stands for in this country is obviously something you know nothing about.

    The Real

  10. I can see the Bills taking Leonard. We are going to run a one-back offense without a true fullback. He can pound the ball in the Buffalo cold. I think that Lynch is overrated because of the lack of great running backs this year and durability is a concern. I am still for a linebacker in the 1st either Willis or trading down. If Leonard is around in the second, I give him a long look or take the best CB available if a first rounder happens to fall. I think that all running backs after AP and Lynch are pretty much around the same.

  11. Hey Whiz, If Walker is average, then why was he second on your team in sacks last year?

And if we are talking salary cap implications, Kelly Holcomb has a higher salary than Walker so you saved nothing in that aspect.

Spikes might be great this year or only average if he does not recover.

Just because Julian Petersen came back, doesn't mean everyone comes back from that injury. Come back at the end of the year and if Spikes has a great year then you can gloat. Otherwise, no one knows who got the better of that trade.

Least of all Sal P from ESPN, he hasn't done jack since reporting when T.O. was taking a dump in Philly.

  12. Instead of comparing JP to ELI....What about Drew Brees?

Drew didn't get good until his third full year at San Diego with all the talent around him like LT, Gates, and a solid Defense.

I do not know if JP is the franchise QB, but what do we have to lose at this point?

We could have Joe Montana on this team and we are not going to the playoffs! We have a young, porous defense that is improving but is a few positions away from being good. An offensive line that is offensive... One true good receiver and no tight end. A coaching staff and front office that had to pretty much start from scratch.

Overall, Give JP the rest of the year and evaluate in the off-season. If he doesn't show signs of improving, then I agree we should move on.

  13. Weren't most people on this board pissed that TD and MM did not give JP the whole year to develop? Let's give him the whole year while we are rebuilding our team by starting young guys in plenty of positions. Then in the off-season evaluate and make a decision then. If we pull him now, we are as bad as MM was last year.
