My prediction all along for the Bills has been an "improved" 7-9. I'll still stand by that, but if I were to adjust, I would go downward in the win column.

Is Runyan, with his injury history, any better than Butler? Butler's never going to make a pro bowl or anything, but he's a pretty fundamentally solid tackle.

Walker was good, not great, and in the last year of his deal. His attitude was an issue, and the guy behind him has made leaps and bounds. Can we let Bell play 1 freaking down before we judge this?

Finally someone who stated it right. 2 years and 2 games away is much more severe than a 3 game suspension.
Lynch basically left a woman for dead last year (he didn't know her condition when he sped off) and got no games. So as a 2nd time offender, he got off pretty lightly.
He clipped a woman making a turn from a dead stop......could you stretch the truth more?

Which is why Jacksonville picked tackles with their 1st 2 draft picks. He's being paid more than he's worth, I can't see why anyone would trade for him.

Most teams run a very vanilla offensive and defensive schemes in the preseason. A, you don't give much away to your week 1 opponents, B you're not overloading your young guys (including 27 players that won't be with the team for much longer).
Plus, you have your coordinators, coaches and scouts working on game planning for meaningful games.

Last time I looked I was my own agent as well. Everytime I have changed jobs or looked for new positions I am the one responsible for negotiating.
Are your contracts 150 pages long?

I hate sports agents. Gotta respect a guy who negotiates his own contracts. Guys do it all the time in hockey, why not the NFL?

FWIW, yes, ESPN made Schefter an offer he couldn't refuse. Not sure whether his contract was actually up when he stopped appearing on NFLNet and he had to sit out a noncompete clause before officially signing with the WWL, or if they just mutually decided to part ways.
And he was a pretty good beat guy before he ever signed up to do TV. Jasno La Canfora is stepping into some mighty big shoes.
