  1. Russell Wilson Throws at UW Pro Day, Draws Parallels to Favre

By Brian Carriveau on Mar 07, 2012 with 13 Comments

MADISON––It doesn't appear as if it was coincidence that former Packers quarterback Brett Favre and Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson joined the social media platform of Twitter at roughly the same time just days ago.

    My link

I would take him in the fifth round in a heartbeat (maybe even with our second fourth)

  2. Just have to get this off my chest - I'm a lurker here, rarely post. I've been a die-hard Bills fan since I saw Jack Kemp come off the bench replacing Tom Flores to beat the Jets.

I know football and I love the draft - two things the Bills suck at.

I just want to say this - HIRE MIKE MAYOCK TO RUN OUR DRAFT

I am so sick of missing and watching other teams pick gems. Look at a guy like T.J Yates - 5th round pick

4/1/11: Mike Mayock is a fan of T.J. Yates. "There's a quiet buzz out there about T.J. Yates as a late-round pick. He's a good, safe, late-round quarterback." Yates completed an amazing 110 of 112 passes at North Carolina's Pro Day.

I swear I don't know if I can take anymore.

  3. i don't know if this is common knowledge but it was news to me. According to a family member who is friends with someone who is a family friend of our former GM - TD is saying that Levy has been working for the Bills since November and has been making personnel decisions. He referred to Levy as a tyrant and that was reason MM decided to resign.

In the end Levy called TD into his office and told him that it would be in his best interest to resign. TD refused and initially told him that he would have to fire him.

As far as credibility issues - i have known of the TD family friend for several years and my relative are both credible sources to me.

Secondly there is another story which may be partially confirmed to bolster the source's credibility.

I had sent a copy of WGR's wickedly funny Teddy Bruschi parody that was made following the ESPN game where Bruschi came back from his stroke to my relative who then forwarded it to TD's family friend who then in turn forwarded it to TD.

TD thought it was extremely funny and played it for the entire team following the Sunday night game. It should be fairly easy enough to confirm whether or not the GR bit was played for the team and therefore validate at least a portion of my story.

  4. i for one would like to see mike sherman but if haslett becomes coach i am more than willing to give him a chance, i distinctly remember belichick being despised in cleveland.

i want someone who has been a head coach in the nfl. we have enough talent at the skilled positions (especially if you don't count either safety position). we need lineman on both sides of the ball and a head coach. period.

hook em horns and go bills

  5. my greatest issue with moulds are his public comments on how he hopes holcomb can play this week (nfl channel - sirius radio). he should put as much effort into catching the ball as he does coaching. i would think his comments are not helping losman's assimilation into the team.

if he continues, i would hope they get rid of him.

  6. Obviously, everyone knows Buffalo has some very serious economic and structural problems.  To give a little background on myself, I'm a 2003 University of Rochester grad with a BA in Political Science.  I have thought about maybe getting involved in government one day and would love to help out in Buffalo.  So for those who have moved away or those thinking about it, I have a few questions that maybe you could help me with.

    1) Why did you move out of Buffalo?  job offer

    2) Where did you go?  austin

    3) How does your new home compare to Buffalo?  home prices and property taxes higher

    4) If the econonmy and job market were stable would you move back? no

    5) What suggestions to you have to improve the quality of life here?  ub campus and football stadium should have been built downtown, if another opportunity presents itself the city needs to find away to grab it with that said, i don't think gambling is the ticket.  the 190 along the river needs to be torn and lake access needs to be maximized and featured.  in years to come the great lakes will become a powerful drawing card.

good luck - all of our family is still there

Any feedback you have would be awesome and maybe together we can save the city, haha.   Thanks.
