Despite the contrarians on this thread, I think with Diggs gone, Brady (and thus Josh) has the freedom to try anything and with all the skill personnel. We will see 12 personnel (Kincaid and Knox), we'll see Cook split out, Samuel in the backfield and we could easily see Davis and Cook on the field at the same time.
The most exciting thing is Josh is no longer handcuffed having to feed Diggs. My bold prediction for this coming season is we'll see the most dynamic offense Josh has ever QB'd.
I agree. Diggs' diva attitude caused JA to force way too many balls his way.

If they didn't address the defensive side of the ball, it wouldn't have mattered who JA is throwing to. Heading in to this offseason, the defense was and still is a greater liability than the WR position. With that being said, this roster is very much still a work in progress. Could be a rough season but I think it is setting up better for the future.

Xavier Johnson could be interesting. Basically the same size as Deebo Samuel, a little slower, but also a RB/WR combo.

Think of all the extra Bills merchandise that will be sold in Basingstoke, England (pop. 120,000).
Goodell prolly instructed Beane to draft him in order to sell tix for a future game across the pond

Can we just make him the best FB in the NFL please. This big man can move.
He runs as fast as Coleman! Lol. Split him out wide and throw some fades in the red zone!!

Would’ve liked Cam Hart

now this is horseshit. all 22 positions are not equal, not at all.
In round 3 they are. There is nobody out there that will put us over the edge in round 3. Best player available

This could all be a vote of confidence for Justin Shorter too. We have a high pick WR. We can’t draft 10 of them. There will be others available tomorrow. In Rd3 the chances of us getting a quality, starting WR are not good. There are 21 other positions that equally as important
-
No problem with this pick. 3rd round DL will have a bigger impact year 1 than WR.

Really like Payton Wilson. Don’t know where he would fit though

ESPN shows CB Tampa’s pro comparison is Kaiir Elam…Oooof!!! Needless to say, hopefully he’s not on our radar

This board will go full freak out if Franklin is available and we go defense! Lol

Beans will either go Hicks or someone graded 5th round here

There are reports that the patriots tried to trade into the back end of the first round to get him. So I doubt they could’ve gotten him at the back end of round two.
I wish the Pats did trade up for him!!

Prolly could’ve picked him at the tail end of Rd2 if they liked him that much. He’s about a couple cheeseburgers shy of running slower than Spencer Brown
With that being said, he could be a good red zone option

Guess now we dont have to pay a 1st round price!!
-
He couldn’t at least get an extra pick somewhere in this draft or next? You give your nemesis the guy they want just move up from the 4th round to the 3rd? That pick in the 3rd better be the next Hall of Famer!!
-
Wouldn’t be surprised to see Detroit take DeJean before GB could take him
-
Still a lot of good players on the board. No shame in trading back and getting potentially 2 instead of 1. They’re not getting a top tier WR anyway this year
-
Got a kick out of the highlights of Mitchell defending a pass that was thrown out of bounds against UB. He won’t be up against the likes of many Bulls in NFL!!
-
If Dallas Turner isn’t taken in the next few picks, do we trade up? I say do it!!
-
Would not be upset if we went defense late first round. Or even traded up a few spots in the first round to get a solid edge man. WR’s will be available that will be serviceable. This team will have to put up a lot of points if we don’t address the defensive liabilities and reaching for a WR at the tail end of round 1 won’t help

I would’ve traded up to take Odunze simply bc he looks humble, polite, didn’t wear sunglasses, and doesn’t act like a punk!

Beane: "This team is in transition"

It's unfathomable how so many people can't see that this team needed to get younger. We were in CAP hell and it was only a matter of time before it caught up with us. It happens to every team. I would love to have a team like the Patriots of the 2000's that won the division every year and was a Super Bowl favorite every year. They were the outlier. But even still, there were many years in their unprecedented run that they overachieved. Maybe this is the year we actually overachieve after year's of underachieving. Generally I'm not very optimistic with Buffalo sports teams, but I do believe they are still on track.
