Size isn't important. They're looking for an added element of speed and separation to our core for the replacement for the roster spot vacated by Emmanuel Sanders (Beasley already having been replaced by Jamison Crowder).

Calvin Austin III is faster than Skyy Moore (4.32 v. 4.41), but Moore is considered the higher valued prospect. Moore should already be off the board by 69. If he isn't, Beane would probably be sprinting to the podium. It's also a very fair spot to take Austin (and many assume him to be gone as well).

If neither are still there (and assuming Christian Watson, Alec Pierce, and Khalil Shakir are also gone) - then I'd look at who's on the board at the Offensive Line and try to secure a Velus Jones, Bo Melton, Tyquan Thornton, or Danny Gray in the coming rounds. I'd probably double up as well if Thornton or Gray is available later.

Well since I had pick 69 and 89... I decided to go with OT Faalele of Minnesota. I went with the pure upside of a behemoth of a man... I still have 89 and 130, so I'll go likely WR and I am thinking TE with 130...  What do you think of him at 69?

So far it's been RB Hall, CB Gordon, OT Faale and I got Shenault in another deal... with two more picks to go at 89 and 130.

I assumed Skyy Moore was already off the board. If he manages to make it to your next pick, that's a no brainer to me. I'm of the mind our first pick should be a CB, no later than Round 2. A speedy WR needs to be selected no later than Round 3. A RB no later than Round 4.

Now does size matter with the WR or is it more based off of speed? So from your perspective, since I got a CB and RB, it's more like WR at 69 if he has a 3rd round grade or higher with plus speed then BPA after that?

What WR's are still on the board? Is Calvin Austin III or Alec Pierce available?

We are at pick 59... The top WRs went way earlier than projected, but Moore is likely the top available, Pierce is off, but Austin is still available. The board went heavy WR (influenced by the fact most of the season the Browns need for WRs)

With 69 and 89 I am gonna lean more towards BPA, but since someone who is a Bills fan would know a whole lot better than me which direction of position I should lean towards. I am going by the roster between ourlads, madden ratings etc and following Allen in college and the pros somewhat.

I got Gordon and Hall plus got more draft picks in my mock! I am guessing Troy Anderson is the LB you want in the draft?

I don't think Shenault fits what we're looking for as an addition to our WR core. Beane and McDermott have been preaching needing speed. So I'm looking at guys who run at least 4.41, preferably faster. Shenault is a 4.58 guy

That's fair, but I got him as a gadget guy to mix into the offense...

If I would have kept that pick, from looking at the draft it would have probably went to a TE like maybe Kolar? I personally want to add a TE from the draft...

Which positions/players would you like to see with my third round picks? I see a bunch of Troy Andersen from Montana St...

  5. So far in my mock draft on another sports forums

    Trading down...

    Pick 35, RB Breece Hall

    Pick 57, CB Kyler Gordon

    Then I still have picks...

    69, 89, 130

Pick 111 was traded for Jags WR Shenault JR and a 6th round pick...

    How is it so far?

  6. Well I better say something here... The other day I posted about doing a mock draft on a different forum and trading down, picking up more picks.. So far my two players I got were...

    RB Breece Hall pick 35

    CB Kyler Gordon pick 57

Okay with that? Lol I saw Gordon went top ten in your guys mock, so I feel like I made a solid move so far...

That would be perfect as long as we got a CB and a WR with the rest of the picks

Well I have another 2nd, two 3rds and two 4ths after I made the first move. I traded one of the 4ths though for Shenault JR of the Jags and a 6th from them. I thought he could be a nice fit with Allen...

Also looking at the roster, I didn't like the RB position and the asking for McCaffrey in the mock was just a bit to high, so I wanted Hall, and I wanted more picks to fix the depth of the roster... trading down got both for me lol

  8. Okay, I want your guys opinion on the move I made in the mock draft on the RCF Browns forum. I am controlling the Bills and I essentially traded pick 25 and next years 3rd, for a high 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks. So far I have grabbed RB Hall... and traded a 4th for WR Shenault Jr. of the Jags... I have four more picks in this mock draft, 57, two 3rd round picks and lower 4th,  I plan on going BPA, but I want to get a WR, CB, DLine and OLine. Any names you guys suggest in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th rounds you would love to see the Bills grab?

Also I feel like CB isn't in high demand in this years day one draft, so its very possible you guys can get the CB you want...

Breece Hall in the second round would be dope !!

But to be honest I’d rather Brian Robinson in the 4th !!

I am from the realcavsfans Browns forum and I got the Bills in the mock draft so I traded down and actually drafted Hall! Lol

I picked up more draft picks by trading back as well...

From a purely bored fan standpoint I'd love to see Edmunds for McCaffrey.   From a logical not Madden standpoint I'd like to see them add someone like Emmanuel Ogbah on a cheap deal.

I am from the Cavs forums and in one of the sub forums is about the Browns and we do a NFL Mock draft. I am actually figuring out if I can pull off that trade you mentioned lol. What all would you be willing to give up in that deal? Also I am looking to figure out who you guys would want to target in the 2nd and 3rd rounds...
