All those stats, yet at the end of the day the team that scores the most points wins.

Two marginal overturned catches flipped the momentum.

Should've been a flag on the interception.

Ball never moved and Knox had control. This was a “let’s try to keep it close as long as possible” call.
if it takes that long to review, by definition it should be inconclusive.
League had to get out their electron microscope.

The 49's are really strong in the skill positions and this allows them to be less reliant on QB play. With that being said, Purdy is perfect for their system because he just has to come in, keep it simple and not make many mistakes in order for them to win.

Allen does the most with the least. Imagine if he had the o-line protecting Hurts/Mahomes or the ability of his receivers/OC's to get YAC...

Is it possible that this team is holding back a lot on both sides of the ball, so that there isn't a lot on video to scheme against?

Unfortunately between coaching and lack of talent, Allen often defaults to trying to do everything himself.

Romo is such a pretentious douchebag.

I mean it's windy as hell and the ball is probably hard as a rock. I'm not sure anyone is having a good passing game in those conditions.

Apparently nobody watched the KC, Philly and Dallas games last week.

Can't do that stuff with the wind.

You are preaching to the choir here. There is a reason that Allen and Mahomes have the same number of INTs. It’s because they have a lot more attempts and have to carry their teams on their back. Hurts does deep sideline routes, play action crosses to AJ Brown, and everything else is underneath. He makes very low risk throws.
Not to mention Hurts has over 100 less attempts than Mahomes. Eagles shelter him, and it works. But he isn’t the actual most valuable player to their team.
Yup, stats alone are just numbers without proper context!

I don't get the arguments that the MVP is Hurts' to lose...
Passing Yards/Total Yards:
Allen - 3857/4562
Hurts - 3472/4309
Touchdowns/ Total TDs:
Allen - 30/36
Hurts - 22/35
Completion %:
Allen - 63.7 (w/ 85 more passing attempts)
Hurts - 67.3

Romo is such a dumbass

It doesn't matter what the sport, the refs think the fans are there to see them

Refs don't want admit they were wrong lol

The game of football is not played in a vacuum. How the defense performs affects the offense and vice versa.
Personally, I think the injuries are finally starting to take their toll and opposing teams are apt to game plan around positions we lack depth and/or have inexperience.

Knox is way too underutilized for how much we're paying him.

The only thing I can think of is Allen is nursing some kind of injury. The Packers pounded him all game. He didn't get stupid overnight.
He hasn't looked right since the big collision down by the goal line in the Packers game.

I'm a mental health professional and addiction specialist who works with people with substance use disorders on a daily basis. It is well established by science that addiction fits into a disease framework, as it causes observable changes to several parts of the brain (e.g the prefrontal cortex and mesodopamine limbic system) that impacts judgment, impulse control and basic survival drives. If you care to do a little research, this is one resource I provide to my patients to help educate, and I have plenty others (just ask)
