All we need is a few guys to help our run D and pass rush. Coaches that don't freeze in big spots also helps.

Mahomes was shot. The Bills game was brutal. He ran out of gas in second half against Bengals. Like mental and physically exhausted. He is an extraordinary player but is human. He play was so out of character that exhaustion had to play a role.

Most defenses are 90% black players. Nobdody is complaining we need more whites, asians, and hispanics playing defense.
Maybe certain groups of people are just better at certain jobs.

The Rams are extremely talented with a smart coach. The Bengals don't have the Rams talent but they get the most out of their talent.
The two teams in the Superbowl are the two teams that belong.

The Bengals get the most out of their talent. They are extremely well coached. 3 post season games all decided by 1 score. They won them all.
The Bills are the exact opposite. They regularly lost to teams with inferior talent and could not win a single close game. Not a single one in 6 tries.
You can't win 3 or 4 straight playoff games with coaches that can't coach under pressure.

Burrow in year two might have as many Superbowl rings as Allen and Mahomes in their 9 years combined. Not sure there is much difference than the three because Burrow is a better decision maker than the other two.

AFC Quarterbacks
Mahomes is 9.9
Allen is a 9.9
Burrow is a 9.7
AFC Coaches
Reid is a 9.9
Zac Taylor is a 9.8
McDermott is a 7.0 (0-6 in close games)
Allen is not good enough to overcome the gap between the elite coaches and McDermott. Until McDermott is gone it will be almost impossible for Allen to win a Superbowl.
