McD ruined Allens' career by drafting defense and none with WR and O-line. Kicking field goals, punting, 13 effing seconds..etc.

Never liked McDermott.  Don't like how he operates.  He's not accountable to fans.  13 seconds he refused to point the finger and everybody knows it was the DC but McDermott would not even state the obvious.  Feelings... nothing more than feelings... he's not tough enough.  He's only good enough to take you to the well but you can never drink.

2 of Allen’s 3 interceptions came while forcing the ball to Diggs downfield.

Of course Allen has to know not to do that, but I can’t help but wonder if Diggs non-stop chirping has led to Allen feeling like he must feed him.

I know hindsight is 20/20 and i’m sure this opinion won’t be popular, but I believe it’s clear that we should have kept our first round pick and used it on Jefferson, rather than trading for Diggs.

Yes I agree.  It has to be.  If I were Josh I would go to Diggs and say, look bruh, receivers are a dime a dozen in the NFl.  You don't like me, take a walk or shut up.  This is my team.. You're either a part of it or not, but you cannot be the whole team.

There is a Jet 15 yards away coming at Allen but he’s pretty good 1v1. He doesn’t run here. Throws back deep to Diggs and gets picked.

Why didn't he just slide for the first down?  That was the play that to me, portended to a very long night.  You take the money in the bank not pass and get picked.  Little did I realize that those 3 points at minimum would be the game.  Josh is not giving his all.  He wants hero ball.

  4. They call Diggs for a chincy push, but a trip occurred during a Jets TD play and at the end of the game that last pass to Diggs was a PI.  The defender had a grab of the back of his shirt.  You give the refs a chance to say that they helped spark the celebrations on a commemorative day like that and you KNOW they're gonna do it.

  5. Probably one of the top 5 most painful losses in Bills history.  They even get the doink off the upright and in to tie the game and win the coin toss and still lose.  All they needed was field goals to win this game and Josh jus threw it away.  This loss was just as bad and painful as the Music City Miracle.  All he does is goes to Diggs.  My dog knows it's going to Diggs.  It's old and defenses have figured it out.  When is Von Miller going to get back? Josh Allen is above coaching.  Nobody who tries to hurdle a linebacker 7 yards short of a first down is listening to the coaches.  McDermott is another issue.  Josh Allen is a problem child.  The real problem is, that he has taken all the money and there is no money left over for a better than ok offensive line and certainly better coaches.  Bring in Kyle Brandt.  Maybe he'll listen to him.  Maybe Josh should be working out more rather than watching those stupid movies he has all this time to review. Like, dude. The gave you a quarter of a billion dollars.  Get off your ass and the golf course and start training.  He looks soft.

Dont want to get a ban for comparing our team to the teams playing in the GDT so I am putting it here.  Im totally convinced its coaching.  KC its killing that Oline.  Their players arent better than ours.  Jones is a beast but really nobodies outside of that.  The difference is how they actually play the receivers tight and not 10 yards off and back up at the snap.  Burrow cant throw quick because it aint there for free.

Same story on offense. Allen may not be Mahomes but he is elite.  Their offensive design and coaching is second to none.  I feel like Dorsey is just backyard football.  A lot of people say "Josh wont take the underneath stuff."  I believe he would if he was coached to and the plays were designed to.

You got alot of positive reactions for that post.  Seems like Bills fans can see it but Beane still cannot.  Bills try and go the family route where they fall in love with their players and coaches and everybody is one big happy family.  Look where it gets us.  This psychology gets you nowhere.  Instead Philly - The City of Brotherly Love or so they say, is in the Dance.  I don't understand all this love talk.  Love is unconditional but football is very conditional.  Too much loveydubby in Buffalo and when you have a coach who mentally connects the results to the application of his faith either being more or less, you have a guy who is praying for victory not one who can really grab the bull by the horns and make it happen.

I noticed that too. I see we have have a mix now of those ultra short nondescriptive topics (“Dorsey and Allen” or something like that), and those now popular cryptic two-sentence topics (“The Bills Are Well-Coached. But That’s Part of the Problem”).
I think we may need a Post-Titling training session: “How to Title a Post. Hint: It’s Not Like This.”

How to write out an informative headline in 13 seconds or less.

McDermott and Frazier are too scared of letting up the big play. It was painfully obvious in their two playoffs against KC and last week against the Bengals.

We have Josh freaking Allen so it is ok to be more aggressive because we usually can score with the best of them. Get Josh an OLine and reduce the cushion and hold on routes more in the playoffs.

Both Cinci and Chiefs coaches were aggressive.  Cinci going for a 4th and 6 and hitting Chase for the TD.  There were no stupid bombs on 3rd and 2.  Wrong time to get aggressive.

Why didn't we get this option?  I would've vote there. Considering McD is insistent on the defensive picks I blame Beane less. This organization is soft and will likely keep status qou on all coaches and strategic philosophy.  Hope everyone enjoys Sean Schottenheimer.

Bills won't do anything there because they don't know what to do.  You don't listen to your QB.  He's on the Buddy System with the coaches.  The GM has to have the temerity to make a tough but, in this case, easy call.  Look how KC dismantled the Bengals.  Their defensive coaches knew how to exploit a rookie O line not our dumbbell coaches.  No, not them.  Everything is a mystery to them....

No, what I’m saying is it is extremely hard to make it to the SB and I prefer 13-3 with a playoff win and an annual chance at going all the way over 8 and 9 win seasons.

Those were questionable 13 wins because the reality is, they didn't beat any good QB's but when they came up against one, they lost.  Clowning around against Miami, Vikings, and Jets gets you a short playoff game win then gone.  We know what Josh Allen can do and we also know he is not consistent enough.  He isn't a rookie anymore.  Joe Burrow overcame his patchwork offensive line and won the game while Josh went down with the ship.

Chargers fired a coach after a 14 win season and followed it up with a ton of 7, 8, and 9 win seasons with an outlier here and there (both positive and negative). For all those people wanting a coaching change, is that really what you want to go back to?

Only two teams make the SB each year and I’m glad we consistently have a shot and consistently win playoff games each year. Unless McDermott has multiple losing seasons in a row, he should be employed in Buffalo as the HC until he chooses to retire.

So, what you are saying in effect is that loyalty wins big games?  That the definition of insanity is NOT to do the same thing over and over again...  all these truisms out the window because McDermott cannot get out of the Division.  The Bills are being trolled because of OC who throws a bomb on 3rd and 2.  Coaching is overrated anyway but it comes down to one or two plays he and Dorsey always seem to zig when they should have zagged.  It's not good enough.  I like Lindy Ruff but how many years did the Sabres ride him to no Stanley Cup?  This is a coaching staff that will not hold their players accountable.  McDermott has to level with the fans no matter how much it hurts.  Team game when it comes to covering for who exactly screwed up on 13 seconds but not a team game when the organization gives all their money to one guy leaving nothing left in the pantry for anybody else.  That's why the offensive line stinks but McDermott and Dorsey had no answers other than that big play or bust mentality.  This team reminds me of the Blue Jays.  Big home runs to get to the playoffs then get shut down in the playoffs when every pitch matters.  Same deal.  Burrow had a short game and a long game.  Bills only have long game.  This thread is about coach but Motor needs to motor to a new homestead.  His 1 or 2 yard production is putting you behind the 8 ball when Bengals are getting minimum 5 yards on first downs against this fraud defense  As long as McDermott, Frasier and Dorsey are here good luck being the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs.

I don't think McBeane is going to take this domination by Cincinnati lightly. Some heads are going to roll. I'm kinda refreshing Twitter to see what it's going to be. I know, way too soon, but something is going to go down. I just don't know what or who it's going to be. Most likely scenario in my mind both Frasier and Dorsey are gone.

McBeane should be looking in the mirror with that HORRIBE offensive line he hogtied Josh with.  All of them.  Even Morse.  I know everybody loves Morse but I don't care.  This is football.  Go to church if you want to hear nice talk.

Here come the excuses….  We’ve seen this for the last few years… in big games can’t stop the run and can’t get no pressure. CIN knew that … so guess what here comes there run game , and burrow has all day. We got our a$$ kicked hard. And what’s sad is this team has a lot of holes to fill.

Exactly.  Bills fans need to be more like Yankee fans.  Ruthless.  If the fan base keeps loving on these guys, which they do, they will never see change.

Watching his post game news conference he seemed just utterly defeated. You could see it in his eyes. I hope he takes a good break, refocuses with his QB coach and maybe some sports psychology. His body language was off all season.

I do think they need to really assess the OC position. They got someone Allen trusted when they really need someone to hold Josh accountable. Daboll did that. Comes with experience.

After that Green Bay game it seemed to always be push pull with those two.

I’m not sure running it back for continuity’s sake is gonna work unless Beane acknowledges it was lack of talent on the OLine and Wide Receiver that held them both back.

I can’t help but think we need a coordinator that won’t waste Josh’s prime years.

Yeah poor Josh.  He did not seem utterly defeated.  He was utterly defeated on the field.  He had home field, he had the fans, he had the snow, he had everything but the mental aspect.  The moment gets too big for him and he just can't perform.
