  1. Beane will pick up his vet wr or even two likely on roster cut down day for cheap.  There will be vet wrs available eventually do to the large amount of rookies wrs this year.  Will have to likely wait till cut down day.  Probably be one year vet min type signings.

Not saying I like this.  Rather what I'm guessing will happen

We're not going after Aiyuk. We're not in a place to pay him the $$$ he wants. I also don't think SF trades him.

My guess is Beane will wait till roster cut down day and pick up a couple cheap vet wrs on 1 year deals.   The large incoming wr rookie class will result in many vet wrs getting cut.  There will be lots of wrs available for cheap.

well, with possibly the greatest qb of all time, and possibly the greatest tight end.

You're talking about the highly successful Gronk and Brady right?

Or the highly successful Kelce and mahomes, right?

Oh, wait, you mean the soon to be highly successful Kincaid and Allen!

  4. Brady did a decent job, especially given the circumstances when he took over.  But bills should have brought in someone with experience.  We need to win now while Allen is in his prime.  I worry Brady's inexperience will require time for him to develop as an offensive coordinator.  (And yes, I am aware of his brief tenure with Carolina as O.C. before they fired him)

  5. Bills Mafia needs to write an open letter to von stating that von needs to retire for the best interest of the bills team and it's loyal fan base.  He doesn't need anymore money.  Please retire von otherwise it will  negatively affects your legacy as a player who puts team first instead of himself.

We ran the ball with Damar Hamlin - I can express how stupid I think this was

The reason McD even thought of doing this is because his defense sucks so bad that he didnt trust them

the same reason we ran a crap offense trying to eat up the clock

    defense win superbowl -

McD’s defense is NEVER going to

  7. Even though I'm not a big fan of Gabe, I do think he was missed.   K.c. didn't have to cover anyone deep other than diggs.  (And diggs isn't exactly a speedster anymore.)  They knew Shakir wasn't gonna be running any deep routes.

Guessing bills go dt in 1st, wr in 2nd, safety in 3rd.

  8. I think sam Martin's injury factored in to McD decision.  We all saw that garbage punt from sam martin.

Makes me wonder if bills went into the game planning to only punt on extreme situations do to Martin's injury.  And that's why they preplannd that play

Bass is a terrible bad weather FG kicker for whatever reason.  Boswell had no issue yesterday and Butker will school him this weekend.  Just hope we don't need 45+ yard FG to win or something.  That would be so nerve wracking.

    Welp. 😔

    My notes from the podcast:

    Today (Friday): quiet

Tonight: sun goes down, "rain/snow combo platter", away from the lake 7 or 7:30 may snow, will warm up tonight/tomorrow and change to lake.

Tomorrow (Saturday): windy day with snow showers, maybe 1-2" but high wind of 35-40 mph winds gusting 60-65 mph widespread across area Falls through OP, w to Rochester

Tomorrow night: snow will focus and increase, "Lake Effect" process.  Band will be there, but very challenging to predict actual location of heaviest band - S. Buffalo or OP?

Sunday during tailgating: temperatures in upper teens, snow band either right overhead or just to the north, we won't know location for sure until band sets up.

Sunday during game: could be replica of Colts snow game, could not.  Chance of heavy snow during the game.  Wind will be lighter, 20-30 mph with odd 40 mph gust from Southwest.  "Wind will be a thing, but it's not going to be debilitating wind".

"Best case": Snow band sets up over Buffalo, Orchard Park gets some snow but only 1-2" during the game.

He talked to someone with the Bills this morning, and they are discussing where the players should stay Saturday night - in Buffalo, not in Cleveland.

LOL, So basically we may or may not get a lot of snow.  Typical wny forecast.

  11. I remember going to Randazzos (or Randazzols) (black rock area I think) when I was a child with my cousins.  Wings were super cheap (nickel each).  And I'm only 44 years old.  There was this back room behind the bar where food was served.  But thing I remember most was the wings still had "feather stalks" on them and I wasn't so sure they were ok to each.  Never got sick as far as I recall.

This is the new norm for QBs and I just don't understand it.  Watch other games, this is not just an Allen thing.  Burrow and Mahomes are the same way.  They just sit on one end of the bench by themselves with some coach.  A far cry from the days of Brady and Manning ripping into teammates and coaches on sideline.

For people that sit behind bench, do QBs call up and talk to OCs that are in the booth?

That's true.  But mahomes and burrow haven't had stretches of poor play like Allen has.  (Not counting burrow to while he was injured)

However Josh wasn't like that all previous seasons.  How many times would we see Barkley sitting next to Allen going over plays?

Look, I'm a big Allen fan.  But something is very off this season.  Maybe it is do to unhappiness with coaching.  Or something else.  I definitely think Dorsey did not coach to Allen's strengths.  Not sure McD's coaching style/philosophy fit Allen either.

The passion for football from Allen is currently missing

This is BS. I have seen him approach players plenty.. and scream at them. Just because you do not see it on TV does not mean we dont see it in the stands.. Players come to him as well.. There is a time to let your QB clear his head and a Time where you converse... Cameras have a game to look over and play... and although we would like to think so? they do not capture a fraction of whats going on, on the sidelines..

True I am unable to go to games and only see what TV gives me.  But I've seen him interact all previous seasons (on TV too.)  But not this season.

It's obvious there is something going on here.

  14. I've mentioned this in other threads...

It's very odd players never approach/sit by/talk to Allen on the sidelines.  And Allen doesn't approach other players.  Something is not right there,  especially considering Allen has always come off as "down to earth".

The diggs off-season mini drama has to be related.

  15. There must be something going on behind the scene.  I never see Josh talking to players on the sidelines, and I never see players come up to Josh to talk to him.  Really odd considering he seems like a real down to earth likeable guy.  Maybe something related to the mini drama with diggs earlier this year?

Maybe it's just me, but it looked like he was just throwing the ball as hard as he can at times at the receivers.  Almost out of anger or frustration.

  16. I find it very odd that no players ever talk to him not sit by him on the sidelines.  Kinda like he seems depressed.  I don't even remember seeing Kyle Allen by him.  And on the flip side.... I don't see receivers and others players come up to him.  Really as he always seemed to be a real "down to earth" kinda guy.

Most enthusiasm I saw from him was him running into the locker room at end of first half.

Let Josh ride the bench in the second half. Let Kyle Allen have a shot.

Allen looks like he doesn't even want to be there.  No touch passes.  No excitement.  He just looks for a guy open and fires  the ball as hard as he can.  There has to be a reason no players even talk to him on the sideline
