I'm just going to point this out again, in regards to your horseshoe comment. The Chiefs will complete a 17 week regular season without ever having to play in adverse weather. Not a rain drop. Not a snow flake. Not a win gust over 15MPH. And this is a team that plays outside in a cold-weather city that gets frequent thunderstorms.

Have you ever been to Kansas city, lol? The wind here gusts 15mph 1 out of every 2 days.

since Josh Allen arrived, kc has 50 wins, buffalo 40.  I wouldnt get too carried away.

If there is any justice in the world

Raiders beat KC , Bills beat NE and Cin beats Balt

3 Dbag coaches Reid, Fat Belly and John (i whine endlessly) Harbaugh lose

The above 3 are also dudes I wonder how they would've handled the situation Monday night-check that I don't wonder because all that matters to them is winning football games.

A man who hates andy reid, interesting.

I don't really get it. That game had barely started.

I'm repeating myself on this thread, but we drove down the field as easily as they did.  The sentiments I'm seeing online now are "clearly, the  Bengals were going to win that game - they were locked in."  I guess, for people who just started watching the NFL this past week.

And there is a LOT of chatter online about how the Bills should have to forfeit the game, because it was our players that couldn't continue. Pretty sure I've heard multiple comments that both teams didn't want to play after that. And the league was universally reviled for the idea that the game should continue at that point.

It's gonna get to me - because it's only going to get worse.  People are turning on the Bills for some reason. It's getting ugly out there.

The main reason i think bengals were going to win was allen looked visibly rattled, and burrow was warming up to play. It was 50/50 until Hamlin went down.

The Chiefs were always bound to be the only team to tangibly benefit, gaining a clear path to the biggest advantage offered in this goofball 7-team playoff format - the only bye in the conference. I thought, perhaps with that being an biggest carrot, the league might open up an 8th entry to mitigate it, but hahah what was I thinking.

I think many chiefs fans felt cincy had a better than 50/50 shot at winning that game.  In that light, buffalo got kinda lucky with this oddity of a resolution.  Cincy was at home, winning, poyer banged up, then one key injury and then Hamlins tragedy.

at that moment, and as burrow warmed up ready to keep going, it surely appeared it was their night.

You guys lost the ability to lose both of your last two and lose your division.  The Bills lost the chance to win their last two and get the #1 seed and the goodies that come with that.  The Ravens lost the chance for the Bengals to lose to the Bills and have a chance to beat them for the AFCN crown.

The Chiefs lost...well I'm not exactly sure but it must be something right?!

But, at least the Bengals and the Bills control a bit of their own destiny and winning this week secures clear advantages in the playoff seeding.

Either way, to win the AFC Championship, someone is going to have to run the gauntlet and defeat two out of three of the Bills/Bengals/Chiefs (most likely).  This isn't the NFC where you can finesse your way with advantageous matchups, it's going to be brutal.

Kc lost significant odds to host the afc title game vs buffalo.

Giving a win to both Bills and Cincy will leave everything intact, with all three teams (KC also) with the chance to get the n.1 seed with a win and other possible teams losses.

With all respect, that doesn’t leave everything intact, as that was the Bills toughest test of year, and teams like mine (kc) stood to gain from a loss.

Giving both teams a win seems like the only thing they shouldnt do.

ps - i have lurked the board for years, its the best nfl message board that i know of, nothing but love for Hamlin and your team/city.  Surely do not want to see you guys at arrowhead or buffalo with the ball in Allens hands and the clock expiring.
the problem for us is we dont want to see cincinatti anymore either.
