Frederick Douglass “Fritz” Pollard was the first African-American NFL player/coach. During his pro football career the two-time Brown University All-America played and sometimes coached for four different NFL teams, the Pros/Indians (1920-21/1925-26), the Milwaukee Badgers (1922), the Hammond Pros (1923, 1925), and the Providence Steam Roller (1925).

When I was a kid I knew the rosters of all 26 teams, but I have not lost interest in the NFL.
The negatives (racism, corporate socialism, etc.) have always been there and the players are now financially treated much better. Bread and circuses. -

Expect to see Brown (a former 8 man All-State tight end) report in as eligible as did Doyle on Saturday. The former power forward can post up or run away from a DB.

Which is our bigger home field advantage, our weather or our strategic crowd noise? I’m resigned to an OA in OP, but imagine the Bills Mafia jamming communications under an echoing dome!
The best stadium I’ve ever been in is in Minneapolis.

How did he openly buy him ? (Serious question)
He could get a State Farm commercial for any or all players.

Yet, except for the Indy game, we haven’t had a true blizzard on a football Sunday afternoon in recent memory. Even when the Jets game was moved to Detroit, the blizzard had already ended by game time.

My house has a simple rule, no one can get married during the NFL season. Don't care who it is or where it is, the answer is simple NO
The corrolary to that rule for the serious fan is to abstain or take contraceptive action as necessary in order to avoid delivery during the playoffs and the Super Bowl.

i'd say Jim Brown.

Butch Byrd:
"Jim Brown was the great back during that era, but I have often said that I thought Cookie was every bit as good as Jim Brown. The Buffalo Bills weren’t the team that the Cleveland Browns were at that time, but taking nothing away from Jim Brown, man for man, talent for talent, Cookie was right there.”
To which Gilchrist once wholeheartedly agreed. “I told Jim Brown to his face that if I had stayed with the Browns nobody would have heard of him,” he said.

If they’ll bring the Buffalo pies, we’ll have the tables.

Marino’s one dimensional Dolphins were good - but not good enough to win a Super Bowl. We need to run the ball more. We need to let the O line push forward instead of getting pushed back all the time in pass protection.

About 20% of predictions on the HuskerMax message board favor the Bulls.

Think about it....tailgating was not a 'thing' at the Rockpile. That only arose when they moved to Orchard Park (I'm old!).
I’m old enough to remember charcoal grills inside the Rockpile.

If Fitz had stayed we wouldn’t have had to watch Orton.

GA doesnt take too kindly to weed. Sounds like this is bordering on a crime beyond the civil side. Especially if those undocumented sales left whatever state the operation was in. Wonder what he wants for a zip 😆
No problem. The business and the lawsuit is in California.

Agreed. Now they need to start scheduling baby births accordingly, too.
After the Super Bowl and well before training camp.

It is spelled out in the covid-19 protocols. That the teams can not require players to stay at a hotel other than the night before games or during travel.
That makes sense. Maybe next training camp.

The team was void and without form and a great drought was to come. Collins begat Flutie and Flutie begat Johnson and Johnson begat Bledsoe…….and Fitzpatrick begat Taylor and Taylor begat Peterman.

I think that's specifically prohibited by the NFLPA agreements.
I don’t know. The contractual language seems vague other than the players don’t pay. Was residence at SJF mandatory?
ARTICLE 23 PRESEASON TRAINING CAMPS
Section 2. Room and Board: All players will receive room and board during the presea- son training camp, and housing between training camp and the Tuesday prior to their Club’s first regular season game for those players who have not as yet established residence in the Team city.

The Bills could develop camaraderie by providing mandatory or optional housing at the Marriott at Harbourcenter. An Arena Football League surface for workouts could be placed over the rinks at Harbourcenter and/or Key Bank Center. I’m sure the Pegulas could get a discount.
Players and staff could drive, limo or bus back and forth to the Orchard Park facilities as needed.

A Fair Hooker played receiver for the Browns, as I recall.

Put them in helmets, pads, cleats and on grass and it might be a different result.
Josh Allen might be attending TE University for a few days?

I hope Josh doesn’t break the fingers of the competition.
