BILLS/chiefs Nov 23 12 CST - flex scheduling?.
KC Backers, we're looking at a quick road trip for the game, Where's the tailgate ?! Looks like there are plenty of season ticket holders selling on line. Good tix deals to be had at the stadium?? Any input appreciated..
Information on Bills/Chiefs game at Arrowhead:
Hotels within walking distance of Arrowhead:
Drury Inn - best value
Sheraton - Has an indoor water park - Could be a good option if you are bringing kids
Holiday Inn - Has a decent sports bar
There are several good hotels downtown. If you are staying downtown check out the Power and Light district. Home of Sprint Center (new arena in search of a NHL tenant), good restaurants, and night life.
Other places to check out in town...
Crown Center - Union Station, World War I Museum (excellent museum for war buffs), and Liberty Memorial are nearby.
Country Club Plaza - good restaurants, nightlife, and upscale shopping - Jack Stack Barbeque (best BBQ in KC, in my opinion. Gates is good too.)
BILLS BACKERS SATURDAY NIGHT PARTY:
Amerisports Bar at the Ameristar Casino
Beer, gambling, and football - makes for a great weekend
Ameristar is about 10 miles north of Arrowhead

There is construction in and around Arrowhead. Parking at Arrowhead is $25.
If you want to take a bus to the game from anywhere in town, "Chiefs Express" buses are a pretty good deal. Here's the link:

TAILGATING:
Unfortunately, when you arrive at Arrowhead they herd you into a parking lot of their choosing, so I can't tell you exactly where Bills fans will be tailgating. There aren't any close offsite lots that I know of. I have spoken with Pinto Kenny who is driving into town for the game. (I don't know if he is bringing the Pinto.) He is planning to host the largest of the BillsBackers tailgates. Look for Bills flags in one of the parking lots, you should be able to find plenty of Bills fans.
Chief fans are passionate but for the most part, good-natured. Given the direction of the Chiefs season, tickets to the game are plentiful.

Anyone know if there are buses from downtown to the stadium? That way you can see the city itself on Saturday and still get to the game, as it looks like Arrowhead is a ways out of the way from downtown.
Busses from downtown are available. They are a pretty good deal. There is a lot of construction around Arrowhead so the bus definitely takes the hassles out of driving.

Just bought some nice seats 8 rows behind the visitor bench in KC... Anyone going? Anyone ever tailgate there, would there be a problem wearing my jersey???
I have attended the last 3 games that the Bills have played here in KC (1 win, 2 losses). The tailgating is excellent with a lot of great barbecue. The Chiefs fans will give you a hard time if your wear your Bills jersey for the most part it will be good-natured fun.
There will be quite a few Bills fans in attendance, but most Bills fans that I know get tickets from Chief season-ticket holders. So, I don't think we will have a seating section but will probably get together to tailgate.

Pitcher's has added new plasma TV's and may be offering wing and drink specials in 2006.
It will be great to see everyone once again!

Tim McCarver or Brent (I am smooth so you should enjoy listening to me, no matter what I say) Musburger?
Both of them what to make me vomit. But at least McCarver knows baseball. Musburger, on the other hand, is not only a windbag, but knows absolutely nothing about what he is talking about. "The Ohio State linemen are like gods. Look at whatshisname, he's going into his squat."
Oh for a voice and a good agent.

You know what sucks? San Diego is wearing their powder blues today. They're gonna be fired the fug up. Lance Alworth's number is being retired at halftime. The only other player is Johnny U. They're gonna be fuggin fired up. We HAVE to start fast and score first. Win the time of possesion battle and force a couple of turn overs. The key for our d in my eyes is good tackling. Because if you miss LT once he'll burn you worse than you think.
The Chargers have lost 5 of the last 6 games that they wore their "collegiate" blues, so I don't think jerseys will make a difference.
