For your 7th post, you pull up a thread that hasn't been posted on since January 20th?

what is your point about the amount of posts this is a fascinating story.  a woman gets accidentally hit in the coconut by the coconut of a woman who fell.  only one of the women injured her coconut and the other was fine.  the woman who claims she injured her coconut and claiming total memory loss since that moment is suing everyone she can.  doesn't it strike you funny that if your wife was really seriously injured, whether the injury or memory was known at that time or not ,that the husband had the wherewithal to gather the names of the people who were involved in this alleged incident. whole thing seems premeditated which is why I think it stinks like a phony lawsuit to get a payday.

The MacDonalds' lawsuit alleges that an allegedly inebriated Bills fan from Canada shoved a female fan who was standing in front of him. The female fan tumbled forward, landing on people sitting in front of her and colliding with the back of Rodriguez-MacDonald’s head, the lawsuit alleges.

    ACT

If true I hope they take him and to the cleaners.

The article states that they found the woman who fell forward clunking the victims head.  The woman clearly states that she does not recall anyone pushing her. The whole story is an alleged story that will be very difficult to prove negligence on any ones part.

LOL - that's exactly what I thought when I read that!

Back up meaning you know it's unruly, you know what goes on up there at games. so many are drunk and disorderly in which often times causes bad things to happen. case in point a person getting injured.  I wouldn't subject children or women to it. not saying i like the way things are at games but i do enjoy going i just wouldn't bring a woman or a child. i would however pay a few dollars extra and sit them down with the fans who are more civilized. this is my point.

I'm sorry but this is just bull####. Nobody should be worried about their safety at a football game. Ever. Under any circumstances.

Society should never get a free pass because alcohol and football is involved. To suggest otherwise is ludicrous IMO

I don't disagree with you but the husband said he's a long time bills fan and has been to over 100 bills game, he should know better.  its craziness up there and anything could happen. not sure it;s worth the risk of having a woman with you as your backup thats just me. terrible it happened but stuff like this happens at bills games all the time. fans are crazy.

I got a concussion in high school and its no joke. I had a hard time remembering things and places for several weeks. I feel terrible for this women. I can't even imagine if this happened to my wife.

As for the lawsuit, as someone said earlier in the thread, bad things happen to people. I know someone who was in a car accident and had a broken collerbone. Couldnt work and she is self employed. The guy had some BS insurance that wouldnt even cover the cost of her now totaled car. So she missed work, lost wages, needs a new car and its because some guy ran a red light? She hired a lawyer to make sure she got was she was entitled to and all those things were now covered

Why shouldn't someone get what they are entitled to in a situation like that? Or for this poor women?

this is the reason you don't take women and children to football games especially in the 300 section where the hardcore unruly fans sit and go wild.

Sounds bogus to have that sort of damage from someone falling on you. However, if she is lying to get a payday then she may as well go to Hollywood and get it honestly cause she is putting on one heck of an acting job.

In short, none of us can say if this is fact or fiction, but if true, its definitely some very rare, freak incident that would likely never happen again at a Bills game. Either way it looks like she will be a multi millionaire from this.

No shot. doubt even the security companys insurance company will agree to any of this. it will open up a huge can of worms for the future. there will be so many lawsuits of people claiming they don't remember anything from their past. its not like its a spinal injury that confines someone to a wheelchair . anybody could say they lost their memory there is no way to diagnose it unless they take some sort of polygraph test maybe.

  7. theyre not getting compensation from the kid in the # 25 jersey.  the security company will never agree to this because if they did people who get punched or hit in the head can say they forgot everything in their memory bank.  too bad this happened. they might have had a case had she gone off on a stretcher and taken to the hospital by ambulance but proving you forgot stuff is different than just saying it.  even in the unlikely event they're compensated for anything whos to say the memory doesn't return the day they cash the check.  they say they walked a half a mile to their car and complained in the newspaper article that the bills didn't give them a ride.  didn't go see a doctor till the next day.  if you can walk a half mile how bad could you have been. the whole story stinks.

the article also say shes getting better more alert. perhaps the memory came back too . too many holes in this story. they think they're in for a payday I think theyre sadly mistaken.

It would be a very difficult sell if shes making it up I feel like...she couldnt work or drive anywhere just has to sit home waiting for payday.

first of all who takes their wife to a bills game and sits her in the raunchiest, rowdiest area of the stadium ?  where did they think they were going to the opera ?  who says she lost her total memory prior to the incident, her ?  how can this really be diagnosed ?  has she been diagnosed with alzheimers, yes it can happen to someone in their 50s ?  the video doesn't show a clear shove or push and the person who knocked heads with her states they were not pushed. there is nobody to sue here.  to sue the security company is ridiculous.this means you would one security guard for every person at the venue.  to say the kid who pushed the person was drunk cannot be proved. can't prove this knock on the head caused this supposed memory loss.  lawyers will take any case hoping it settles out of court so they can make a buck.  I don't they have a shot here for any compensation.

It could be a scam. But there seems to be validity here. Freak accidents happen and if it did, her life was destroyed by it. Imagine if that happened to your wife. Unless I'm missing something, some of the comments here are downright ignorant and embarrassing.
