  1. I'm going to be optimistic here, and say that we will likely still win the division, but I think it'll be a one or two game margin between us and the Pats.

Bills have hit some bumps as of recently, and the Pats are looking like they will probably be a playoff team.

As for today's game, our Defense was good in the red zone, but otherwise definitely some concerns with letting up too many chunk yards on runs and some mediocre pass coverage at times.

Offense looked flat.  I think it's glaring now that we need more of a run game, and a better run game.  Don't know if it's so much the RBs, but that are O-Line can't run block (and can barely pass block at the moment...).  Josh can't do it all himself, and with no run game whatsoever to set up play action and the pass game, all the pressure is always on Josh.  I put some blame on coaching here too, they gave up on run early at times.  Not enough run attempts on 1st down.

Penalties killed us today!  Some of them were questionable on officiating, but obviously cannot commit that many costly penalties that put you out of scoring position...

The Titans and Bengals have lost to the Jets (and Dallas got dominated by the Broncos today)... I'm hopeful the Bills will turn this around and can still have a successful season!

I wouldn't be stunned - people like sexy names at the top of the draft and at premium positions.  I'm sure the fanbase got all fired up about our great draft when we traded up for Sammy Watkins.  Or how about when we picked CJ Spiller, Marshawn Lynch, and Willis McGahee?  Or when we won the offseason when we traded for Lesean McCoy?

No thanks, I'll take this draft any day of the week

    I liked Marshawn though haha

  3. I love the story of Josh and Diggs playing Call of Duty online together during the off-season, and that Josh was always trying to be a team player by reviving Diggs and trying to keep him alive in the game. 😆

They also talked about it in Diggs recent ESPN cover story.

  4. Josh: "I got into a zone today. When it's spinning off your hand and you know what the ball's doing, what the tail's doing, that's kind of what I felt today," Allen said. "I understood where my guys were. Coach Daboll called a great game plan, our guys did a great job of executing, and yeah, in a dome type of setting with no wind and no cold, you know, when the ball's spinning off your hands, you feel like you have supreme control, and that's kind of what I felt tonight."

(Disclaimer: this is meant to be taken lightly, while I do think a dome stadium is enticing, I understand there are definitely cons to it as well)

Who'd you rather be a fan of today? The Bills or:

    The Patriots?

    The Jets?

    The Fish?

And that's just in our division. I'd rather be in OUR position than any of theirs.

OK, too small of a sample size for you? Well, how about we widen our search to the broader AFC as a whole:

    Ravens?

    Bengals?

    Browns?

    Steelers?

    Texans?

    Titans?

    Colts?

    Jaguars?

    Chargers?

    Raiders?

    Broncos?

    Chiefs?

Even on THAT list, I'd probably only want to swap places with the Chiefs, MAYBE the Ravens (based on coaching alone),  and possibly the Titans. That's it.  By my reckoning, the Bills' situation is better than TWELVE other AFC teams, which puts them in a really sweet spot at the moment. I know that spewing bile and raw emotion is all the rage these days and that logic and reason take a back seat more often than not. But if you look at the REALLY big picture, the Bills are in a pretty good place today with Beane and McDermott. Blowing all of it up would be a blunder of EPIC proportions.

The unfortunate part is that we have a much harder schedule next season:

49ers, Seahawks, Chiefs, Titans, Cardinals, Raiders, Broncos, Chargers, Rams, Steelers.

I dunno.  I'm at a point of psychosis - I'm seriously worried about my mental health. That team has dominated us in a way that  is one-sided to the extreme. I'm really grappling w/ it right now - trying to figure out different rationalizations, or things outside of my "sports fan" life that might make me feel better.

I don't think any fan should have to go through this, though. I don't care how whiny it sounds.  I just want to beat that team.

Yeah I was really hoping to have a win against the Patriots this year!  It's been too long and we need to prove we can compete and play with the best of em!  I really wanted to be able to have a win against Brady again before he retires.  Done waiting, the momentum needs to go our way, we need a changing of the guard in our division!

"The Chiefs almost wore helmets belonging to a high school team on Sunday...

When the Chiefs equipment went missing before their game in New England on Sunday, it was a lot bigger deal than most people thought, and that's because the Chiefs would have been required to forfeit to the Patriots if the equipment didn't show up before the game's kickoff, which was scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET. "
