There is one such lot.  The McKinley mall.   Erie county provides a metro bus back and forth from the mall.  I think it’s five bucks. Totally worth it.

Is it pretty straightforward to find the busses etc. Like are their signs directing you once you get towards the mall?

Not sure.  You have Stroud who shines right away and Josh who struggled in the fire the first season but ultimately it was probably the best thing for him.  But on the whole you are probably right.  Most franchises would be better off with a lot of Packer philosophy.

Most teams don't have the luxury of drafting a QB when they have a QB solidified. Almost all 1st round picks play as rookies now. Don't forget the Love pick was lambasted by the media saying they needed to get weapons for Rodgers.

It's the most maddening part of the NFL. Young fresh coaches have to move heaven and Earth to get a shot while teams are happy to hire proven chokewads like Quinn.

I've thought the same for longer than I can recall.. a person getting fired at their previous job is better than the new guy who's kicking ass? Make it make sense.

  4. One thing that I keep seeing from Media outlets is that this penalty was the reason the chiefs lost. Did they Chiefs offense not run three more plays?! Even if they had scored, the bills still had two timeouts and ~ a minute and some change to go and score themselves.

Granted I didn't watch the packers game, but the same sentiment is said for that game, the MVS no call cost them the game. They were down (8) points, there's no (9) point touchdown in football, the best the could have done was tie the game? I could be completely off, as admittedly again I didn't watch that game, but the hyperbolic statements are getting old.

As soon as we kicked the FG, the game was over. Never once has our D made the game ending stop. If it has, I can’t recall when

We have better chance to win going for it on 4th and 10 on our own end of the field, hoping for a walk off TD drive than we would letting our D ever take the field needing a stop.

I had to bold this, because I can't recall many times either. I'd rather it be a game like Tennessee a few years back when Josh slipped. Better IMO to lose being aggressive then let a team drive the field on your defense and lose the game.

Dorsey: Hey Beane, this shotgun at the goal line isn’t working.

Beane: Why don’t we just sneak it?  That would easily solve the problem.

Dorsey: I think we just need a bigger back.  Please?

This made me laugh out loud. I do think this is more of a insurance policy for D. Harris, as it seems like hes going to be out longer than initially expected.

  7. Are people still drunk 24 hours later after the game? 100% correct move, and I applaud Singletary for not going for stats, but being aware of the situation. 99% sure he was told in the huddle "do not score, get closer." literally the next play Allen kneels down further away, to ensure it's centered.

A lot of posters seem to misunderstand "Risk", as well as their memory of Down/Time Remaining, and Time outs.

The run was on 2nd Down, Time remaining was roughly 37 seconds. Both the Bills and Dolphins had (1) TO Each. First down did not matter due to the time remaining, and timeouts had by the Dolphins.

Risk is how many things could go wrong.

    Bills get the TD

    • Bass misses XP (higher risk than the walk off FG attempt with 0:02 on the clock)
      • If he missed, the Bills are up 6
    • Miami now has, 1 timeout, ~35 seconds on the clock
    • Bills have to kickoff, Risk of return for TD
    • Botched kick, Dolphins get ball with great field position
    • CB falls, Hill or Waddle run for 75+ Score
    • They dink and dunk going out of bounds down the field, and above situation can still occur (they score)
    • If Bass missed XP, and Dolphins score + get XP, Bills Lose
    • Dolphins score, go for (2), Bills Lose
    • Dolphins score, get XP, go to OT

Possible Risk (at minimum 6 things can go wrong)

Bills do the Textbook move, and kick the walk off FG

    • Bass misses we go to OT

Possible risk (at minimum (1) thing can go wrong)

Coach McD and Singletary in a few moment's time, understood the correct move and executed perfectly.

Every NFC game was boring this weekend. The bears are horrible. Saints aren’t playing all that much better.

The Bears offense is atrocious. They are barely getting 2-3 yards a series. The NFC as a whole only really has two teams (Saints and Packers) who are good, and the Saint's aren't looking like world beaters either.

A 7-9, 8-8 and 9-7 team in the NFC bracket and the 10-6 Dolphins sit it out. Granted the Dolphins aren't world beaters either, but this doesn't make the games entertaining with these awful teams playing.
