I really like the way he throws the ball, but Tyler Bray is an immature fool. Maybe you don't think it will matter, or that he will grow up, but I think having millions in his pocket as a reward despite his foolishness, will do nothing for his personal development. There have been plenty of jerks that have been successful, but something tells me this guy http://florida.mugsh...-bray-mug-shot/ has more in common with Ryan Leaf, than say, Jim Kelly (a guy that had some "growing pains").

Wow I can't believe Tyler Bray grew 6 inches in 5 months. If your going to use a mugshot to support your belief, make sure it's the same guy.

  2. No way Wang makes it over Rhinehart. Wang should work on making dumplings cause blocking is not his specialty. If they keep 10 Lbs white makes it over Eddins and if they keep 9 then Moats could be in trouble. Moats has been invisible this preseason, maybe due to injuries. I think they liked Batten more last year but season ending injury gave shot to Moats. He didn't play bad but I think he is on cut list and maybe ps bound if eligible. At Wr I think Roosevelt makes it over Aiken due to the experience gained last year in the system and his sure hands displayed throughout camp. Corner could be in trouble at Cb as they might carry Corto as 5th safety and special teams ace. And at TE is a toss up cause Nelson has so much potential and no production and Martin has experience and is a better blocker. Other then that well done and go Bills. Hoping for ateast 9-7 and fighting for playoff spot in late December.

  3. Money sure does talk, but seriously who would you rather catch balls from Big Ben or Mark "Dirty" Sanchez.

Personally I would choose the former Super Bowl MVP. Just saying.

    Now comes the debate:

    Plaxico vs Braylon Edwards

Did the Jets upgrade the position or take a step back?

Braylon Edwards is in the prime of his career, where as Plax is 34 coming back from a 2 year hiatus.

  4. RT: @AdamSchefter: Filed to ESPN: Plaxico will sign w/ Jets. Confirmed. 1-year deal for $3,017,000, fully guaranteed.

One storyline this offseason was whether Randy Moss would land w/ Jets, adding another wrinkle 2 Pats-Jets rivalry. Looks like Plax instead.

  5. He had tremendous athletic ability coming out of college, however he was raw and immature as a player (only had 1 season as a starter coming out of Penn St). Maybin and Merriman are close friends, both growing up in the same Baltimore area. Hopefully he used the off-season to train with Merriman and picked his brain about what it takes to become an impact player in the NFL. Why cut him now? You might as well give him the entire training camp to see if Merriman and Wannstedt can motivate him into the player the Bills front office envisioned with the 11th pick of the draft.

  6. I agree that Edwards maybe in way over his head. However, how much does he really have to work with.

It's pretty sad that your 1st round draft pick from a year ago can't even sniff the field and Carrington has been inactive for at least 3 games.

The OL is finally starting to gel, and maybe even the strongest unit on this team right now.

I really like some of the young playmakers on offense like Steve Johnson, David Nelson, and CJ Spiller, but the Bills defense is horrible.

This team needs to use it's entire draft on the Defensive side of the ball next April.

  7. I have the same dilemma. I'm starting Spiller over Jackson simply because of CJ's breakaway ability. He is a threat to score every time he has the ball in his hands, especially now that he will get more touches.

You might want to consider going elsewhere if you have a better option. At least until one of these guys emerges as the clear cut #1 guy.

  8. It is evident that Nix and Gailey have a plan in place. This year is essentially a 16 game preseason schedule, in which they will evaluate the entire roster. Edwards and Lynch were 2 guys that this front office didn't see as part of the Bills long term future. Lynch had another year left on his contract. Did anyone honestly think the Bills were going to bring him back or that Lynch would even want to re-sign with Buffalo?

If the front offices' plan is to acquire more draft picks for some of their veteran players, then that's fine. However, with the current state of this organization, this Bills front office can not afford to miss on draft picks like past regimes.

Some examples in the past 10 drafts:

*Mike Williams over Bryant McKinnie (a proven LT who allowed 1 sack in his entire college career)

*Drafting McGahee (coming off a devastating knee injury, when you already had Travis Henry)

*Trading back into the 1st round to draft Losman

*Whitner over Ngata (build your foundation with a monster in the middle of the DL)

*Trading back into the 1st round to draft McCargo over Nick Mangold (build a strong foundation on the OL by drafting a rock in the middle)

    *McKelvin over Rogers-Cromartie

*Maybin over Orakpo or Clay Matthews
