  1. As long as Allen is healthy, he is the starter. Love that McD did not equivocate on this.

Allen is the team's future franchise QB and he should play as much as possible this season - when the Bills are obviously not competing for a playoff spot. No pressure.

Yesterday's game showed the staff is trying out a bunch of youngsters: Foster, Teller, Wallace. They might be the future, so might as well see what they can do. Let them make mistakes.

Same with Allen. Let him loose. Who cares if he throws some picks? He'll learn.

The nucleus of this team going forward is:

    Milano
    H. Phillips
    Tre White
    T. Johnson
    Edmunds
    Dawkins
    Teller
    Foster
    Jones

    And Allen.

Only Dawkins is more than a 2nd year player.

Add in a few veterans like Hughes, McCoy, Star, Alexander, and a few wildcards like McKenzie and Wallace...and this team will be vastly improved next year - especially with a couple of keep FA signings and a new draft class.

This year, start and play the youngsters. Give Allen reps.

    The Process is working.

Looks like he would have started more games than that no?  The point is we don’t have another option.  So to say well  we didn’t see this coming is not really a defense of horrible qb position management.

He won 9 games his last season here. Remember that it was last year. So to say it would have been 4 wins and less blowouts is just made up junk.

    I'm saying THIS year, Nancy

We told you this would happen.  TT protected the ball and kept them in most games.  The most notable exception being the Saints game last year - but the defense gave up 300 yards rushing too.  We told you Peterman was garbage. We told you a rookie was going to throw more INTs.  Now you see how awful the talent is on this team.

The defense is good enough to be .500 with a QB that isn't killing them.  Yes the OL is worse this year than last.

Bit this disaster of a season sitsd squarely on the shoulders of Beane. He traded away Watkins and TT. He traded away Glenn. He replaced Wood with garbage. He replaced Incognito with a septic tank.

Beane has to go.  McD can stay another year.  I will still defend trading down and getting White and an extra #1.  Mahomes would not be putting up thje stats he is in KC with these idiots at OC and with the players Beane has surrounded his QB with.

We told you this would happen and it has.

Now listen to us again.  Beane has got to go.  He can not be trusted with another off season of free agency and the draft.

There are more stupid takes on this board than any I've ever been on before.

And this one may be the stupidest.

plugging holes for short term relief only makes the long term less likely to pan out
Would 4-5 and fewer blow out losses actually change ANYTHING?

The following is not a popular opinion on this board:

As much as I love the Pegulas, it was a huge mistake firing Rex.  There is no way a coach should be fired in less than two years --- especially a coach who had been the most successful coach for the Buffalo Bills for the past nearly two decades and who was being undermined behind the scenes with leaks etc.  Rex should have been allowed to at least continue for the term of his contract.

To put things in perspective, the point differential was much worse last year than the year before and the relative offensive and defensive rankings were worse last year than the year before.

As much as Rex got grief for having 11 men on the field (when, as it turns out, a DB got hurt and a defensive back coach presumably did not send a replacement in the game), Rex never had 15 freaking guys on the field as McCoach did last year against the Pats.  I do not think that I ever have seen any other team or coach have 15 guys on the field at the same time.

Rex also had personality whereas the current guy is McMilktoast and cannot help repeating his stolen mantra the "process."  McCoach is Dick Jauron without the charisma.*  Between  his personality and what he has done with the team, he has sucked the life out of the team (and my view of the team under him).

I would take Rex over the current guy and thought it was unfair to undermine and then fire Rex in less than two years. As I state above, Rex should have been allowed to at least coach the team through the term of his contract.

As much as I am not particularly impressed with McCoach, I also think that it would be unfair to fire him in less than two years.

    * For the younger readers, Dick Jauron did not have any charisma . . . and neither does McCoach.  This was a joke.

You should never post your thoughts on this football team again. Stick to what you know. Accounting, maybe. Selling lawn chairs. Lawyering, even.

    Just not football.

  5. lol at blaming Dabol.

In one paragraph you say the receivers aren't getting separation, and then you blame Dabol??

He's got Derek Anderson as his QB

He's got KB as his no. 1, a decent Zay Jones and NO ONE ELSE.

He's go an OL that can't make a push

What exactly does he have to work with?

I really liked the game plan tonight. The players just couldn't execute it.

The only thing I hated was punting on 4th down in the 4th Q before the Pats drove for their first TD.  That's a two-down situation there on 3rd down. Play to win, McD. Punting sucks there.
