  1. A lot of you make some interesting points. They do have a plan in place a plan they’ve been scheming since the regime change. They can stay the coarse that’s not the problem their long term plan might even pan out. But they knew and had ample time to address the monkey wrench that got thrown into their plans. Losing 2 starting OL and doing little to address it because it doesn’t go along with the PLAN is unacceptable and naive. But what’s done is done very little can be done to change it now. They have to make the necessary adjustments on offense to compensate. 2 rookie QB’s a weak OL so far unproductive WR’s. Simplify the offense quit running the offense under center use more screens and short passes. That takes pressure of inexperienced QB’s keeps defenses honest and opens up the run game. The Bills are in no way down and out like so many are saying. They don’t even have to change that long term plan just their strategy.

So this morning there's all this talk about how the GM is horrible because he didn't trade for Mack, how we'll stink this year, about how a rookie WB who has yet to play an actual game is a bust.  And on and on.

So my simple question is whay are you here if you hate this team so much?  Do you take some kind of weird pleasure in trying to bring others down?  Is it some kind of bizarre self-defense mechanism?  What?

Same kind of talk this time last year, and they made the playoffs.

Loved this post oldmanfan. I’m right with ya.

Too many people watching skip bayless and Steven a smith who think they know football better than the guys being paid millions and millions in the league.

    They “scout” the talent.

    They “watch” the tape

They do “mock drafts” non stop

They know footwork and mechanics of quarterbacks better than real nfl scouts.

And my favorite is the people on here who don’t want to debate or discuss, just flood their opinion as fact and have zero intentions of hearing anyone else’s point of view or any option that does not agree with their opinions. We have a lot of those types of posters on here.

Judging the coach, and GM 24/7 is 100% stupid in year 2.. Especially when the team overachieved and made the playoffs after a historic drought. Rather they stumbled in or had luck or whatever it makes no difference.

They made the playoffs year one after how many decent to loaded rosters that have been built here over the years and failed to squeak into the playoffs.

Im all for debates and discussions but it is quite agitating seeing how many posters on here spew GM hate, QB hate ( I might puke seeing how many “jokes” about 5 ints in one half are made daily and how Nate is worthless), and my favorite how terrible OBD is for not signing a player whose name we heard before. Trade for Mack? Was never going to happen. I haven’t seen what the Bears gave up but I’m sure it was a ridiculous haul

I agree too much hate and poor attitudes. Not enough support and hope. It’s only been 1 game we’ve been beat bad before and came back from it. GO BUFFALO.

I thought Josh Allen played ok and actually lifted the spirits and play of the team IMO.

Trust me when I say this is not how I wanted Allens development to go , but starting Peterman over Allen sends the wrong message to the team IMO.

If we as fans could feel a big let down of seeing Peterman start over Allen the players would in all likelihood feel it even more in my humble opinion.

I see your point brother I really do. Just at the end of preseason it seemed they were all fired up on NP. I just don’t know if the team is ready to give up on him after 1 game. And I’d about bet they’ll keep him in till mid season at least. More if he wins some. Coach’s don’t like to flip flop they usually ride it out till they have to say ok this ain’t working.

People keep acting like he's fragile this kid didn't have any offers out of high school and fought like hell to finally get a shot that doesn't seem like a person whose confidence is fragile.

Man you right and I know he’s twice the athlete NP is. To get where he’s got he’s got to be mentally tough. I would just like for him to get use to the speed of the game before he takes the reins for good. I look at QB’s like Aaron Rogers who got to develop the right way. But he had BF to sit behind. Just in most cases rookie QB get washed up and beat to death before they really get a chance to shine. And us not having a QB prospect at his level in so long I just want him as ready as possible. But man I’m with ya.

At the expense of the whole team though?

The way I see it Allens fast delivery and velocity helps protect his play makers and his athleticism and pocket awareness makes the Oline better IMO.

Brother I’m with ya on that. I would just hate the speed of the game to cripple our best prospect in years before he’s ready. But I believe he came in knowing he is a developmental QB. He’s got the goods no doubt I’d just like to see him fine tuned a bit more.

Oh I agree 100%  but with how bad the team is playing right now if they start JA and this sorry play keeps up his confidence will be shot. He’s the best prospect we’ve had in a long time so I’d rather lose some games and let him develop into the franchise QB I think he could be.

No Allen will be fine he will have a helmet and pads on so let them design plays for Allen as Nate couldn't hit the side of the barn consistently when it matters and wish I was wrong but he's a backup that need way more time then Allen way more,  It's a new era for the good!  Let's hope Allen is the one!

Man my fingers are crossed and hoping with all hope. I just don’t want JA to become another Tim Couch. Beat to death before we really see how much he’s capable of.

  6. Absolutely start NP. Allen is to good of a prospect to be thrown to the wolves guys. The whole team stunk up the field but the bulk of the blame should go on the coaches. The receivers are clearly not getting it done so why they ain’t using that high paid tight end more has me stumped.  Not to mention McCoy is a great RB but last I checked he can catch too. Make them sorry WR’s do some blocking and hit McCoy on some short passes and let his legs get some yardage. They have options they just have to get a little more creative with their play calling. Both QB’s are pretty much rookies so simplify the offense around what the QB’s can do and let them both develop into what they want them to do.

  7. Can’t think of a good title name to save my life. I’m new to this guys I’m just a die hard Bills fan. I like to read your opinions of my team good or bad. A place to talk Bills 24-7 if a man wants is too cool. Their ain’t no Bills fans where I’m from so I’m digging this. But I will put more thought in my future titles guys. GO BUFFALO

  8. Guys don’t PANIC. It’s 1 game. Y’all are giving up on the whole season already. Talking about next years draft picks. The bills have talent on both sides of the ball. The O line needs to pull it together I mean 5 sacks and way to many knock downs come on. Nate was rattled from the git go. The coaches and players see something in him so give him a chance. We suffered Losman for way more starts than Nate has had so we’ve had as bad before. Kel B played bad no doubt but he has the goods. His talents ain’t the question it’s weather or not he wants to be here. He needs to bring it or they need to move him on down the line. If we go 0-8 I’ll say it’s done this year start planning for next season but there’s a lot of ball to play yet. That’s how I see it.
