Unless you are the Patriots oline, with no Pro Bowlers I might add. No holding calls against Bosa(6 sacks in 7 gms) and Ingram, Chiefs league leading sack defense(52 sacks) and no calls against Donald(20 sacks), Suh and co.

Brady was sacked once in 125 drop backs in the postseason, going against those guys and not having all pros on the oline, yeah I have to believe there was a lot of holding going on were the refs just looked the other way.

If holding can be called on every play then NE surely didn't get called, 10 yard holding penalties directly change the play calls and do affect the game whether its in the 1st or 4 qtr.

    Great observation there, sir.

    I completely agree.

The naive will tell you the Pats Oline is just that great, but the truth is they get help. They got it last night, too.

I agree, it wasn’t holding. Romo said the same. And they called very little holding all night to begin with, no idea why they picked that play to throw a flag.

You know why. Everyone knows why.

It doesn’t fit the narrative, so it will be swept under the rug.

The NFL laughs at it’s customers while thumbing their nose at us all.

  3. The hold on the Gurley run after the Rams tied it and finally had momentum tells it all TBH.

People can deny all they want, but this stuff is the hallmark of Pats games.

I would love to just be in awe of greatness, but I always come away with a sour taste in my mouth because of things like this that always seem to happen when playing NE. And it’s even worse in Foxboro.

Everyone can believe what they want. I have seen more than enough evidence to tell me what I need to know.

Yes then a yellow flag appeared holding on #65., So instead of 1st and 10 it became 1st & 20 ?

This is why I still question everything about the league, and more specifically, the Patriots.

That was clearly a bogus call made when it finally appeared as if the Rams were making a move. This has been a hallmark of Patriots games. Bills fans have seen this countless times.

Screw the NFL and the Pats. Proven cheats and suspect refs have dominated a corrupt league led by money hungry, shady owners, and a weasel commissioner.

  5. So much shadiness throughout their entire run to not believe that it is not completely legit. Heck, we have proof that at least a few things were done that were not on the up and up.

And I’ll never believe that any opposing team going into Foxboro is playing on a level with them. There is always something going on there...whether it’s the refs or radio transmissions, or whatever...it’s shady business over there.

    The OPs point isn’t necessary.

We dont need to do these.

This is the kinda crap you write to try and convince yourself that your awful QB, EJ Manuel, really isn’t that bad.

I dont need these stats. I don’t need next gen stats. “Stats are for losers.”

I saw Allen. He passed the eye test with flying colors. No need for paralysis by analysis with him. He’s got it. And I don’t need stats to tell me that.

I must agree with this man.

I know the narrative, and I was as critical of the pick as anyone.

But from what I saw with the kid, I came away quite impressed. The touch passes need work, and the short stuff seems to be his biggest weakness. All very correctable stuff.

The accuracy stuff seems overblown from what I saw. It’s more about him fine tuning his passing, rather than working on accuracy.

Besides that, the kid checks all the boxes...especially the leadership, toughness, and hard working part.

  7. It’s pretty simple to me.

Josh Allen has demonstrated that he has everything you look for in a franchise QB. He’s a smart kid that’s tough. He works hard, leads by example, motivates teammates, and is dedicated to his craft. Not even mentioning the god given physical talent he has.

He has also shown improvement on the field while playing on an offense devoid of talent at receiver, a poor Oline, and zero running game. His short pass and dump off game is his biggest weakness, and his unwillingness to utilize that part of his game effectively hurts. He has shown the ability to hang in the pocket and make big throws, and he has generally seemed pretty poised and accurate when throwing downfield. The kid looks to make plays...whether it’s taking shots downfield, or using his mobility...this is something I love about him.

Please don’t try and coach this out of Allen! Let him figure out that he needs to find the right balance himself. I believe he is smart enough to do so. Also, please get this kid some HELP! I’m talking upgrades at C, G, T, WR, TE, and RB. Every one of these positions needs to be addressed in some fashion. It was inexcusable to field such a poor offense out on the field this season.

Give him this offseason to work on what he needs. Surround him with some guys that can catch and give him some protection and make some lanes for the run game, and then we will really find out exactly what we have.

i believe we just may have our guy. Please give the kid some time and some help.

  8. I thought Allen looked pretty darn good. He made plays, and he didn’t turn it over.

He had two big time third down passes called back, and the Thompson pass that should’ve been caught. A few other passes were just taking shots in long down to go situations, which were fine.

Lots to be optimistic about with this kid. If you feel otherwise, it’s gonna be tough for you for the foreseeable future.
