  1. An absolutely true story:  Ten years ago, I got lost and somehow ended up on a rural stretch of road in Colden, NY.

Initially stubborn about admitting that I was lost, I drove around in circles for awhile, thinking I'll get my bearings straightened out eventually. Only when the needle on my gas gauge touched "E", I had little choice but to seek help, and told myself first house I see I'll stop and ask someone for help.

After climbing a steep incline, I noticed a house on my left. Drove down into the steeped driveway, where several vehicles sat together a couple of first downs from the house. Knocked on the door, and guess who answers? I kid you not, No. 34, took me less than a few seconds to realize it was him out of uniform.

Stood there trying not to show I was Star-struck. Not only did he help me point old "Betsy" into the right direction, he took the time to honor my on the spot request for an autograph for my young kids.

    A Class Act.

You always know a man's true colors when the cameras aren't rolling, and he has nothing to gain, yet conducts himself with class. Congratulations!, Mr. Thomas on the retirement of your jersey.

  2. According to a deep mole in Section D out of Langley headquarters, Kim was in Dealey Plaza on Friday, November 22, 1963. As she and others dove to the ground amid shots fired, Terry leaped into action, throwing his body upon hers to shield her from the barrage. In all seriousness, Musichunch, though I do not know anything about Mr. Pegula, I've read somewhere about the remarkable life story of Kim's origins and the blessings she has experienced through the years, culminating in a chance meeting with her future husband and the rest is history as they say. Remarkable people in my book, but it's understandable if you care to know more about them.

  3. Less than a year from now, the truth will slowly begin to emerge, meaning Mr. & Mrs. Pegula are the real ones behind the great purge. Like a wily mob don, they crafted these plans long ago... while on the surface McDermott and Beane are executing it, whether wittingly or non-wittingly remains to be determined. That said, there's nothing wrong with putting your own stamp on your own product. Out with the old, in with the new.

  4. Pretty sad day for our civil liberties when a few bad apples prompts even more government intervention into our lives. Taking in a ball game should be a privilege, and only afforded to those who care to be respectful & responsible during their attendance. Educate everyone proactively about the importance of being respectful & responsible, and weed out those who choose to be irresponsible and disrespectful. Young children in attendance deserve better role models, and besides our region should be remembered long after the game clock expires for positive attributes as oppose to earning the title of worse fans ever. WNY doesn't need that kind of negativity.

  5. There's no connection between Brandon and Allen. Where it concerns Allen, IMHO the Bills will never tell him that he wasn't their first choice, but once Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold were taken, the Bills moved up to take Allen before they were tasked with either taking Rosen or passing on him. It was much easier to move up and take Allen than be remembered as the team that passed on Rosen should he blossom into a top tier NFL quarterback someday. Cannot say I much blame the Bills given Rosen's perceived Me, Me, Me attitude. IF he is going to blossom in the NFL he had better learn quicker than a NY minute that the team comes before any one individual.
