    Not that anybody cares :)

But to me one thing is that people who have the Buff News Bills Blitz Subscription don't really need a pointer for articles from this web site, right?

They have a subscription. They will go and see what is there one would suppose.

So the pointers for that are really only informative, to people who can't see the content that they point to. (Setting the free ones aside but they show as locked as has been pointed out). So the pointers to TBN articles that are behind the paywall really do seem to function primarily as an advertisement for TBN. Like I say people who have that subscription will look there. People who don't get a daily reminder that they don't.

I think that is what bugs people. The news recap page has lost some of its usefulness. I myself now use Google instead to look for Bills news and articles.

That being said I think if the news page helps this website I am all for it. I don't pay a nickle to be here. Somebody must have to pay for it. More power to them I say.

I don't want to complain too much about features or advertisements on a website that I enjoy for free.

    You’re missing the point.

It Not about the buff News. It’s about the traffic generated HERE, twobillsdrive from the Buff News.

There are more “subscribers” there than “members” here.

Twobillsdrive goes as Buffnews goes, it’s a mutual relationship.

That is why Josh Barnett jumps on in a instant and SDS puts the Golden Locks first priority on the news page.

I heard some anti Allen guy on WGR claim that Wyoming took the ball out of his hands and ran it,even though they have a terrible run game.

He said that points to the lack of trust in the QB.

Whats the truth?  His attempts do not lend to this theory, but I have no clue.

Also on Twitter.  Definitely a red flag.

All in all, I have listened to Palmer talk about Allen and Watson and Darnold a good bit... he really seems genuinely excited about Allen in interviews I've watched and listened to, slightly less about Darnold.

On the DP show a couple weeks ago, unprompted Palmer brought Allen's name up when Darnold to the Browns was referenced. You could call it salesmanship, but listen to the interview... he's genuinely excited... even saying that Darnold would be the clear #1 in any other draft, but not this one. Sounds like he almost gets coerced into coming back to talk about Darnold.

On Darnold's pro day, Palmer, at one point, says Darnold has probably about 20% less of the arm strength of his brother but about 20% more mobility. At another point in the interview he brings up how mobility is going to be necessary for Franchise QBs moving forward, but at the moments he talks about this in the interview, he's not bringing Darnold's name up. He also makes a point to bring up Allen's upcoming pro day in this interview.

As for Palmer's feelings solely about Darnold...

In other interviews like on the Rich Eisen show, for example, he just sounds so stoked about Allen.

    http://www.wgr550.com/media/audio-channel/04-27-jordan-palmer-one-bills-live

Sorry if this was posted... I searched "Jordan Palmer wgr" and didn't find this

Interview from Palmer right after Allen was drafted

-Allen is so small town that his teammates are going to quickly become his family

-Allen's completion %, after watching the tape, should have been at least 4-6% higher... that he even reached 56% with all the factors working against him (protection, offensive weapons, guys open, dropped balls, etc) is amazing... Allen's significantly more accurate than his numbers imply.

-Incredible work ethic derived from being a farm boy... this is actually a really interesting part of the interview

-Raved as a unique QB, but Palmer used a combo of his brother, Big Ben and Deshaun Watson in comparison to the mould he might fit

-Incredible smarts. Palmer said his smarts/study habits were greater than Deshaun Watson, who he worked with last year. And he absolutely lauded Watson's smarts.

-Allen has only scratched the surface. 2 years of real college Football after being injured and out for a year after a JuCo after playing HS Football at a tiny little High School.

    and a fun little tidbit...

    - The funniest QB Palmer's been around... and he specifically brought up Fitzpatrick.

And on a sidenote... can we PLEASE friggin hire Palmer as our QB coach for continuity's sake?!

It a big red flag when your coach takes the ball out of your hands during your senior season...

He brought his protest to the playing field of the NFL, during the National Anthem no less. The NFL has not oppressed, but has been super inclusive..

Colin violated the cardinal rule of do not s*&% where you eat.

Could it be opportunities for other *blacks * of becoming the "face of the franchise" to have been damaged by the actions of Colin K. Did he not only kill his career, but others as well?

I can’t tell if you’re joking or serious...This convo is over.

Could Lamar Jackson's falling have anything to do with a backlash to black anger and the Colin K fiasco?

What does LJ and the Ball family have in common? A parent as an agent.

Lamar didn’t fall. He was actually picked before expected. He was always a 2nd round prospect.

    Youre mixing sports here. Ball?

Colin has every right to protest, he is not causing the fiasco.  His enemies are.

Are you implying this is about race or parenting?

Lorenzo Alexander is not —> Mr. Negro (huh?)moral authority. Allen owes LA nothing for something said as a fifteen year old, or any age for that matter.

Carter is obsessed with race and racism and refers to his opinions as "we" as in "we will not stand for" BS. News Flash: there are many opinions out there.

Sorry Niagara, there is no defending hatred, especially as shallow as a skin color.

I am not obsessed with racism, stop exaggerating.

“We” as in the “good” “morally correct” people of this country.

    Niagara, please enlighten yourself.

    Losers of draft by NFL.COM

Buffalo Bills: The Bills traded out of their No. 10 overall pick a year ago, passing on the chance to draft Patrick Mahomes or Deshaun Watson in favor of amassing draft capital. This season, the Bills usedsignificant draft capital to trade up for quarterback Josh Allen (moving from 12th overall to seventh). The kids would call that hustling backward, especially when Allen has an uphill climb just to surpass previous Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor's level of production.

Bills fans will point to this being the first draft for GM Brandon Beane, who was hired last May, but that only emphasizes how tricky it is to come up with a cohesive roster when the GM and coach are always in flux. Allen could prove his skeptics wrong, and his athleticism is unquestionable, but Josh Rosen has clearly displayed a more obvious NFL skill set. Allen is reminiscent of a souped-up version of another Bills first-round quarterback: J.P. Losman, a player with accuracy issues who was a star in the pre-draft season because of his measurables. Losman was taken 22nd overall in the 2004 NFL Draft and proceeded to compile a 10-23 record in Buffalo.

Yeah right... While whole tracks of America go right down the same road.

Some of my daughter's classes in high school she is the only white student.  Heck, she can tell you some great stories.  The drama, the out of controlled behavior, etc... Screaming racism at every turn, even when the person complaining is in the majority.

It's reeeeally brutal. 2 years and she is out.  What weakens her momentarily, makes her stronger in the end.

American is turning into **** hole, no doubt about that.

Why not transfer your daughter to a better school or enroll her in a Private school?

Education is the most important thing in a child’s life. This is not something you should sacrifice.

if you believe allen is a racist you can't be using much logic in your thinking. you really believe a young man, just drafted with a possible career in the nfl ahead of him, is a racist??

    I think not.

I don’t know Allen personally, but I know his reputation.

I dont care care how old he was or is. He should know better and be smart.

His parents obviously failed to teach their child morals and values, or it wouldn’t of even been a thought to him.

His reputation is shot, he is labeled...

There is no arguing this fact.

those with thin skin like yourself may never get over it but his coaches and team mates will and that's all that matters.

"He's gonna have to have a good answer," Alexander said. "I've listened to a couple of interviews, and I think it's gonna come from the heart, and he'll be fine. But he's gonna maybe have to work a little bit harder from certain people in the locker room, but I don't think it's an issue, because that's who he was and not who he is."

America is still full of racists and it’s very sad. This line of thinking will soon go extinct.

Thin skinned or not, it’s wrong.

Do you know the difference between right and wrong?

yet another thin skinned sad sack.

    What’s idiotic about it??

Even Lorenzo Alexander said he had to explain himself, “he better have a good answer”. It’s already causing a distraction in the locker room. Allen needs to turn his reputation around or he will turn into a locker room cancer.

    Troll elsewhere bud.

Racist, lol. A bunch of song lyrics and TV show stuff.  So freaking sensitive these days. How'd all these sonowflakes end up on this board ?

It’s time to look in the mirror bud.

In the early 1860s, a "Snowflake" was a person who was opposed to the abolition of slavery—the implication of the name being that such people valued white people over black people. The Snowflakes hoped slavery would survive the country's civil war, and were contrasted with two other groups. The Claybanks (whose name came from the colorless color of the local terrestrial clay) wanted a gradual transition out of slavery for slaves, with eventual freedom accompanied by compensation to slave owners; the Charcoals—who were also called Brown Radicals—wanted immediate emancipation and for black people to be able to enlist in the armed forces.

You need to settle your hate. We do not agree with it and will not put up with it.
