There's a lot of love between Cinci and Buffalo right now, so focus on that and the real reason you're here. Coming in here to die on this hill probably isnt good for anyone. Even if you truly believe we are wrong, no one has the pitchforks out for the Bengals, just let it go.

Simply offering a different perspective - being the obvious difference in the edited clip and the real-time clip.

There are no 'pitchforks' here either. Just an opinion on a Bengals related subject.

He totally rolls into Allen on purpose, he could have easily fell forward thereby not even coming close to Allen, Instead he tucks and rolls in Allens direction catching Allens foot underneath him. He knew what he was doing and it was a cheap, dirty play.

He fell in the exact direction momentum was taking him. He also landed on a broken wrist as he fell. The real-time video clearly shows there was no intent.

  3. If you look at the whole clip, instead of the shortened one, you can clearly see that Trey falls after contact with the Bills lineman, lands on his broken wrist, then pulls his legs up to try to avoid contact with Allen.

It's literally the opposite of a dirty play. If I thought it was, there's no shot I would defend it.

I totally agree with this post. I have mixed emotions because they are the bungles, but man they handled that with class. I have a feeling Coach McDermott tried to rally the troops. Even Steph tried to get them going. I think even with blood in the water, Taylor…… speculating here, I think he saw the pain, went to McD and said let’s end this. If so hats off to the entire organization and especially Taylor for recognizing the moment.

Zac went to the hospital as well. I think he and McDermott are both class acts.

Bengals seem like a pure class organization.

From coach Taylor , to the players and to the fans.

If bills don’t win the SB, will definitely be pulling for the Bengals

Our fan bases may have the best relationship in all of sports. It's very unfortunate that we have to share this current experience, but one thing's for sure...BillsMafia has the complete support of WhoDeyNation during this time, with what you guys are dealing with.

Just hoping that any upcoming news on Damar is positive and provides hope for a full recovery.

  6. Just wanted to stop in and share my best wishes - on behalf of myself and The Bengals Board - for Damar and his family. My heart goes out to them...as well as his coaches, teammates and Bills fans everywhere. It was an absolutely heartbreaking thing to witness, and I hope there is some positive news coming at some point soon.

That is correct, he should have led them to a playoff victory if not for Pacman and Burfict losing their minds.

That's very true - that game should have ended in a victory - but AJ (and the offense) also played very poorly for 3 1/2 quarters.

To his credit though, he never really looked rattled and rebounded to come through in a late game pressure situation.

would you settle or comment on an ongoing argument here as to why a.j. never unseated dalton as the starter.

i am of the belief that lewis did not want a qb controversy and dalton continuously took that team to the playoffs.

would you shed some light on this? thanks.

Dalton is an entrenched starter who took the Bengals to the playoffs 5 straight years, has a winning record overal and also signed a very team friendly deal. Mike Brown and Marvin Lewis do not like QB controversy and while Andy certainly has his flaws and shortcomings, they have both seemed very content with his production and growth as a QB.

For those reasons, Andy's job has never really been contended or in danger. McCarron was going to be the backup as long as Andy was under contract.

In the handful of starts that McCarron had, he showed some flashes - and displayed confidence and swagger - but he also had his struggles as well. It's hard to truly evaluate him until he gets some extended playing time and a little more experience. One thing he definitely has to work on is getting the ball out quicker and being a bit more decisive with his reads.

Thanks for swapping picks with us and for getting us into the playoffs! The Bengals are our new other fav team

Yeah, the trade was one of those instances that seems to make a ton of sense for each team - and hopefully works out very well for both.

    Welcome!

Preston Brown - Nothing special, won't wow you.  But he's durable and consistently decent.

Cordy Glenn - Has pro bowl talent but is not durable and has recently had lots of problems staying on the field.

Thanks brother. How was Brown in coverage? That's an area where our LB unit has struggled in recent years.

I'm very stoked about adding Glenn from a talent perspective, although I do worry about him staying healthy.

Just wanted to stop in and say hello, as well as get some general feedback as to how Bills fans felt about Cordy Glenn and Preston Brown.

I also want to offer congrats to you guys for signing AJ McCarron.. He was a class act in Cincy and I'm glad he will be getting an opportunity in Buffalo.
