There was one guy on WGR, some young kid, was like anyone that calls to say Diggs can be traded is getting hung up on.
It was really bad. None of them are really connected.
Probably the same kid that keeps talking about how important good looking uniforms are. It drives me nuts.

I'm an enginner and I have it off - as do most other tech companies. And employess at most white collar companies have flexible options for vacation/personal days
Good for you. I have to work. Should we start a tally? The fact of the matter is, more people will have to work on Monday than Sunday.

They didn't though..
So much of a GM/HC success is based off hitting on a QB.
Hit on a QB, and then all of a sudden the owner is willing to spend... build a contender and all of a sudden talented vet FA's are willing to sign for a bit less to play on your team... and so on...
If Beane didn't hit on Josh Allen, I highly doubt he or McDermott are still here. And that's not an indictment on them.. it's just how it works.
It's why Douglas/Salah really need Rodgers to work out, because they already blew it with Zack Wilson, despite all the other strong picks/decisions.
That is basically the point I was making. So many want to criticize without looking at the wins. It also seems many people think other teams don't make draft mistakes.

For a moment ponder what the Bills would look like and what the prevailing opinion of McDermott and Beane would be had the Browns or Jets selected Allen in that draft.

I think Josh thinks he has to win the game by himself. We need a pile mover to get the tough yards and take some of the pressure off. I’m pretty sure he was crying on the ground after the pick.

Yep. It's Allen being Allen and the OC has no control over that.
While I want Allen to be safe, the guy knows what he's doing and his runs get the team fired up. Allen is the leader and he leads by example. I also never thought he was in an awkward position and vulnerable. They were calculated runs. He's not a frail guy, so he can take normal tackles as well as any RB.
Running backs are done at 30 years old. Brady is still going at 45.

I'm in my late 40's and the Bills of the 90's didn't make me like the Bills. I always watched, but wasn't a "real" fan until McBeane and Allen got here. Now I'm a Billiever. This is the most excited I've ever been about a football team.

I just can't wait to hear WGR tell me how you don't need to run the ball.
Or how there is NO way Breida will play, or how every caller that thinks different than they do is stupid, or…

I went to training camp on Wednesday and Justin Zimmer was right in front of me. He didn’t talk to fans, and he didn’t talk to other players either. He just practiced what I would call burst off the line and hand fighting.
his work ethic seems impressive to me! Anyone else see that or know anything else about him?

How bout maybe shutting down their sweatshops in China, Indonesia, Columbia, etc... while they're at it? I'm all for changing the name but Nike being this progressive crusader is funny to me.
Yeah, Nike made a big deal about trying to get environmental regulations much more stringent in the US, so they got good press about it. The thing is, they don't make any shoes in the US and they did it to hurt their competitors that do. Mainly New Balance.

I wouldn't put hopes up for a WR being awesome in rounds 2-3. The deepest potential at WR but lots will not work out just the way it is.
Maybe, buy maybe not.
Michael Thomas - Drafter Round 2
Antonio Brown - Drafter Round 6
Stefon Diggs - Drafter Round 5
Davante Adams - Drafter Round 2
Chris Godwin - Drafter Round 3

I think we need him on this team. He had a 70.5% catch rate before he came to Buffalo. Knox caught 56% of his targets. If Knox can't fix his drop issues, his talent is of little use.
-
I don't like it.

Nah, I'd rather draft one. I wouldn't be interested in most of the free agents either, but Jordan Howard might be a fit.
-
I would like to see us get Perriman and draft a WR in one of the first two rounds. Perriman has had some injury issues, but he did very well when Mike Evans was hurt.

Postponing it makes no sense at all. I can understand postponing or changing the format of the draft, but not free agency.

The list of WRs taken at all in the top 15 the past 2 or 4 years isnt even long.
2019 - 0
2018 - 0
2017 - Corey Davis, Mike Williams, John Ross
2016 - Corey Coleman
But if you go to a year where the class was known to be strong coming in (like 2020 is considered), such as 2014, you have Watkins, Evans, and OBJ all in the top 15 and none of them are busts.
I'd guess Jeudy and Lamb will go top 15 this year, and I'd bet they both turn into successful pros. Too bad we wont have a shot at either of them.
I agree with most of what you said, but Sammy Watkins is damn near a bust. Taken that early in the draft I would want WAY more production than 1 season over 1000 yards. The numbers he's put up over the past 4 years are middle of the road tight end numbers.

Ok I was confused with people quoting about 4-5 weeks = a month. He obviously said 2 months and the point he was making was they had an extra month. What is the issue with the quote though?
The issue is you’re missing part of the quote. It’s been explained to you, but many places are leaving out the last part of what he said. . The real, full quote is “We had a long season and I only had four or five weeks to prepare for this, and I feel like that’s not enough time compared to all these other guys who had two months, or a month.“ if you watch the clip, you’ll understand the disconnect.

I keep seeing people say that Shakir is a "slot" guy and can't play outside. I just looked up his height/weight, 40 yard dash and 20 yard Shuttle times and compared them to Diggs. He's the same height and weight, but he's faster than Diggs in both the 40 yard dash and 20 yard shuttle. What am I missing?
