I normally wouldn’t watch a post game interview all the way through, but I enjoyed listening to him speak, I see why this guy was our pick. He’s going to be a foundation type guy for this team, I absolutely love the pick! You can tell this guy has heart and brains, probably the biggest unmeasurable thing in sports. Go Bills!

Suddenly Wothy is a #1?? They weren't taking Worthy and they weren't taking Pearsall.  So to get a 3rd round pick (when you didn't have one) to select the same player you were going to select anyway (Ladd, Franklin, Frazier, Mitchell, etc.) is nothing but damn smart GMing

I was really excited for the trade downs! When I looked at this draft there is only about 17 guys who were true 1st rounders, the 2nd and 3rd is where it’s at, and we now have 3 picks. We should be celebrating instead of worrying about Mecole Hardman 2.0 going to the chiefs.

This doesn't mean there weren't issues between them but I scrolled through Josh Allen's likes on Twitter and saw this from the Week 18 win in Miami. Whatever happened in the lockerroom after Week 1 probably wasn't notable to reporters at the time because by many accounts, they still seemed to be on the same page. Blowup happen even amongst friends and family.

Obviously, each individual moment doesn't tell the whole story, but I thought it was interesting to reflect on it nevertheless:

Diggs 2 years ago was a valuable player for this team, Diggs the second half of last year (that wanted out of Buffalo to play for Dallas) was a negative! He actually hurt the team, he in my opinion was purposely dropping passes to get the point across to Allen and the Bills that he was done. That’s why Brady was taking him off the field on crucial 3rd downs and for whole entire drives.

Diggs is signed through next year as well. If he goes to Dallas it would be by way of trade or that he's cut. If he's released, he would not be eligible for the comp pick formula

Texans just announced they voided the final years of his contact 😱

  5. Adam shefter just said on NFL live that Huston has agreed to void the final years of Diggs contract, making him a free agent next year.

Can’t believe the Texans gave up a 2nd for a 1 year rental!! Diggs is 100% going to Dallas next year, I guess they will get a comp pick back but won’t be more than a 5th probably based on Diggs being 32 next year and only really negotiating with one team for his next contract.

I hope Beane holds strong to a diplomatic line. "Thought it was in the best interest of our long term financial health, Stephon has been a great Bill and consummate professional, hate to play against him but it made sense for us."

Keeping it classy no matter what is a good FO approach.

I disagree with the “consummate professional” part of your post. Consummate pros don’t walk out on their teams after a tough playoff loss two years in a row, they also catch the Damn Ball in huge moments in huge games! See ya Diggs! You were good for a while, but you ruined it, and screwed our Bills in the process! Also your game day outfits are a joke! You look like a 15 year old girl who’s not sure if she wants to go full Gothic! Have fun Huston!

  7. Based on Diggs tweets and IG the last couple weeks, this has been in the works for a while. You can bet Beane took his time and has a couple different plans in place to make the team better! He always has a master plan, I just hope it’s better than the Kelvan Benjamin plan 😳 and I think it will.
