And we go from the Best team in the AFC East to the worst... Jets may put up a hundred on this gutless bunch... JP loks like Al Qeda with that beard and he is about as worthless.
I think anyone who is reasonable will admit that this is a different team on the road and on the east coast in particular - the Jets played them at home...

oh yeah bigtime. it throws off the consistencey of the offense. it puts more pressure on an already mediocre run game to perform and it extends the time our defense is on the field. not to mention the fact that every single player is in the mindset of there first string quarterback being hurt.
Does the defense suck today, you bet your ass it does, but a big part of that is because the offense(while good) has not had a drive of over 5 plays. our defense sucks because it is sucking wind.
Thats mostly BS. i mean they are sucking wind because they arent stopping the other team. most of the problem is them since they never even stopped them at all in the first half from the BEGINNING of the game - how can them being tired have anything to do with the inept offense in the 1st quarter?
No, Trent being in this game would not have made ANY difference. they have 41 points and 14 or 17 are from turnovers, but the rest are straight up against our defense.

So far so good, woulda been nice to get 7 on that drive or not give up 3 before halftime...nonetheless it is what it is and we can win if the defense plays better here in the second half.
Watch out for AZ I think they will start trying to run the ball on us in the second half if we start getting their passing game slowed down a bit with our adjustments!

OK is this some kind of joke or what, they show Favre with 2 TD and 1 INT on the TV and ESPN.com but i saw him throw two to Cromartie, including one late in the end zone to end the last drive and another that was returned for a TD, plus the one to the other Chargers DB when he and his receiver werent on the right page and the DB dove for the pick with no Jets receiver even nearby...
Are they on his jock that much that they are trying to make believe that he doesnt SUCK or what??
OK, maybe nevermind...it could be that the backup Clements was in there for that last pick OOPS! LOL

It is interesting. I was surprised to see them try the old single wing on us yesterday too. It is a venerable offense that once was actually quite dominant. I've wondered if anyone would ever try to revive it at the pro level...but in order to be really effective it requires a 'slash' type player who can run or throw (especially on the run) equally well...
I will say that it was a very good call against an aging defense like the Pats because it forced them to match up with that unbalanced line after they were getting a little tired - they clearly werent all that stout on the playside as the day went on....

yea but dude...the Rams are really bad. Right there with KC at the bottom of the league. i mean come on, we beat Seattle down and EVERYONE is beating snot out of the Rams.
All that said, I am definitely not calling us 4-0 just yet...but VERY confident in the game next week. I think we had a bit of a hang over from that heat last week to get past in the first half of this game today.

I doubt TO's run that fast in years. If Hardy's only 80% as good as either Owens or Moss, I'll be thrilled...
The 40 time is overrated as far as wide receiver production - look fast Rice was(nt) in the 40.
Besides, TO came out of college running 4.36 and he's shorter. Hardy is 4.47...really....at 6' 5 who can complain about the guy's speed...like you said TO probably cant run a 4.47 right now to save his life!

Plaxico Burress is 6' 5" and ran about exactly the same speed coming out of college...
sub 4.5 speed is excellent for a guy that big...
