One question for the ones who are good with technology.

My friend is really bad with smartphones/computers.

He bought tickets from Stubhub and he got help to save them in his phone. The helper texted me his tickets and I saved them on my phone also because my friend was afraid to have issues with his phone while trying to enter the stadium next month so I will have his tickets also in my phone.

So now his tickets are saved in my phone and in his phone.

The NFL/Bills said that they stopped the printed pdf tickets to avoid scam/fraud. What is the difference? I could now send the tickets to numerous people. I don't get where is the added protection here? If I wanted we could be 100 different people showing up at the game with the same ticket on our phones and like the pdf tickets only the first one to be scanned would access the stadium. What am I missing here?

Typically you won't exchange 'images' of the tickets electronically. You'll instead "transfer' them electronically through ticketmaster. This kills the old bar code and produces a new one. You can't do that with pdf printed and copied tickets, since there is only barcode.

This is why if you ever buy from craigslist or scalper or anything nowadays, don't just take a text message of the photo of the barcode from them. Everything is transferred through TM.

    So interesting. Couple of points

    1) You can sell on StubHub still with an email delivery (transfer) of the tickets within 24 hrs. I have done with Caps and Wizards tickets over the last year..both bought and sold.

    2) Was told last night TicketMaster and StubHub have formed an agreement so that you will be able to list a barcode on StubHub from your account manager and sell just like you do on Ticketexchange.

I am going to clarify and confirm that today.

#2 is the correct answer. I sold some tickets already and entered the barcode into StubHub from my Account Manager.

The two definitely are linked because once I entered the barcode into StubHub, my Bills TM Account Manager had marked the tickets as sold. In the past, I would have had to manually go back into Account Manager and delete the listing.

    This is actually very convenient.

OP - good luck getting anything more than $10 a ticket for preseason.

Can someone with a FB account explain what’s on there that makes this is an obvious hoax? I don’t have FB so I can’t see what you guys are talking about.

She says someone sent guys into her house to pistol whip and rob her. No mention of McCoy.

But seriously, which is more of a factor? The short week/cold OR the momentum of upsetting NE? A short week to prep for our QB carousel won't be the worst thing ever for them.

Momentum or let down off a big victory. Can spin that argument either way. I doubt the outcome to the game tonight affects the game next week in any, save for an injury to a key player or two.

    to the bolded....ummm....no thanks.

TT gives us the best shot to win THIS SEASON. With the current QB situation, he is our best hope.

Best case for Peterman (for those that think a healthy Nate > TT) is to practice and prepare after he is cleared late this week. What if he isn't cleared until Friday? You really want this kid to go in with no reps?

Like him or not, TT gives us the best shot right now, all things considered. I don't see how you can think otherwise.

  6. Pagano is a trainwreck for the Colts. I don't think any Colts fan wants him back next year.

I may be wrong, but I think Pagano called a TO or two at the end of the first half right we the Bills got the ball at our own 20 or whatever. We had a play of two for minimal gain and maybe he wanted to get the ball back? They didn't have all three TOs, so best case for the Colts was to stop us, we punt and they get the ball in their own end with 30 seconds and no TOs? What were they going to do with that? Anyhow, we needed all of the clock before half for the TD, which would not have been possible without the TOs.

Was anyone else surprised they attempted the extra point after the penalty? I would have thought the odds of scoring from the 12 were still greater than a 43 yd kick.

  7. Dome, please. The venue can be used year round no matter the weather.

I'm a 10 yr STH and stayed home today simply because of the weather (the fact the it was Brisset v Peterman didn't help). If it was a dome game, I would have used my tickets. Some would call this soft, but after the Saints and Pats stinkers, I didn't feel like freezing to death watching a crappy game with the potential to lose.

I'll take a dome any day. If I lived out of town and didn't attend games, then I'd probably vote no dome.

  8. Definitely thought the flag on the 2pt play was going to be for Unsportsmanlike Conduct on the fans throwing snowballs. It was a late flag, so I thought it was after the play and the announcers had just mentioned the fans doing such.

Anyone know why (if) the flag was so late? Or was it just not seen? I can imagine the ref throwing the flag on a play like that 5-10 seconds after the act occurred.
