  1. When I was in the 3rd grade (1993) my teacher gave us an assignment to write a paper about any historical person. Being a young Bills fan, I chose to write about OJ Simpson. As an 8-year old, the 1970s seemed historical at the time haha. I remember going to the library and checking out books about him to gain the information I needed. Unlike most school projects, I really enjoyed completing that one.

Then the murders happened, I gave OJ the benefit of the doubt and hoped that he wasn't involved. On June 17th, I remember returning home late one evening and turning on the tv to watch OJ eluding police in the white bronco. At that time I figured he was 100% guilty. All of the evidence presented afterwards pointed to him. His actions were senseless, selfish and evil.

Pretty good lesson for me at that age to never put any celebrity on a pedestal of hero worship.

One of the criticisms of Sills is that he has a thin build and is not great at fighting for 50/50 balls, not is he fast enough to use speed to get separation.  Duke Williams has a slower 40 time, but he is a whole lot more physical.  The winner of that competition is far from a sure thing.

Definitely some truth in that. One thing Sills did really well that allowed him to get open was having great technique at the line. He used his hands well to fight off corners playing press.

  3. I've been a Bills fan since I was 7. I'm now 32. I grew up in WV with no ties to Buffalo. I was a freshman in high school in the last time the Bills made the playoffs.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing way to bring in the NEW YEAR!

    So happy for:

    The organization

    The city of Buffalo

All of the players specifically Kyle Williams

For myself and all of the fans like you that have endured all of these years of pain and agony. The long wait only makes it sweeter.

    GO BILLS!

  4. I was 7 years old and a fairly new Bills fan who didn't know a lot about football at the time. I had an uncle by marriage who bet me that the Oilers would win. If they did then I had to give him my penny collection which probably totaled $1. If the Bills won he was suppose to give me a $1. The game got out of hand and he was gloating and eventually went about doing other things.

I remained glued to the tv. After the Bills scored their first td in the 2nd half to start the comeback I ran to the room he was in and excitedly told him about the Bills score. He shrugged me off because the score was still lopsided. We all know what happened next. He eventually came into the room where I was watching and was shocked that the Bills had comeback.

After the game I asked for my $1 he owed me and his cheap ass didn't give it to me. Eventually my aunt gave me the $1 because she knew he was being a jerk. I remember it like it was yesterday.
