Ending the drought!!
-
I see why they kept him around, but as a Bills fan this does not scare me.

I wanted to take the temperature of OBD on some of the big questions ahead for the weekend, the immediate aftermath and then what follows... here goes:
1. Do you think the Bills will win in Miami?
2. Do you think the Bills will make the playoffs?
3. Do you think Sunday is Kyle Williams' last regular season game in a Bills uniform?
4. Do you think Rick Dennison is still in a job with the Bills by this time next week?
5. Leaving aside offensive coordinator do you expect any other coaching changes on the Bills staff in the next 14 days?
And the contentious one.....
6. If the Bills make the playoffs does that mean Tyrod is still a Bill next September?
1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. Yes
5. No, because I think we make the playoffs.
6. Not necessarily.
If he makes the playoffs Tyrod would go down in history as the QB that ended the drought and a lot of his haters would be salty about that. But I think it should earn him another year if it does happen, at the very least as a mentor to a young QB we could draft.

I'll be there! I go to this game each year in Miami. Although I am not aware of any Bills fan areas, I do know that Bills fans ALWAYS show up and seem to outnumber fish fans in Miami most years. With the circumstances of this year and playoff possibility, I expect the Mafia to take over Miami this weekend...

A lot of openings. I am predicting 12....wow... alternatives welcome :-)
NFC:
New York Giants - Bill Belichick - Mara's provide an ownership stake and a high first-round pick. Belichick wants one more challenge and rebuilding the Giants is it.
Dallas Cowboys - Jim Bob Cooter
Washington Redskins- Matt Patricia
Arizona Cardinals - Byron Leftwich (current QB coach)
Detroit Lions - Teryl Austin (Current DC)
Chicago Bears- Pat Shurmur
Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Mike Smith (Current DC)
AFC
New England Patriots - Josh McDaniel (Bill O'Brien ends up as OC of the NYG)
Houston Texans - Mike Vrabel
Indianapolis Colts - David Shaw
Bengals - Hue Jackson
Browns - Matt Nagy

The Big job this offseason will be Oakland Raiders. My guess is the Raiders end up with a big name offensive coach.
What makes you both think BB would leave the Patriots and Robert Kraft for the Giants? Has this been rumored?
QB coach to head coach would be quite the promotion for Leftwich. Idk if he is ready for that.

Why? Age is meaningless, performance is all that matters.
He's only played 40 snaps in 5 games this entire season. 3 tackles and 1 sack. I respect what he's done in the past, but nothing about his stats this season scream "Sign him!"
-
They'd be stupid to fire him. He's overachieved with some pretty crappy QBs in Houston. They should keep him and see what he can do now that he has a possible franchise guy in Watson.
But if he were fired, I am not sure he would take a coordinator job. He's a pretty well established head coach, and could always fall back on a college head coaching job.

I would if I was him.
Make him a DE, he has the size and strength to do it.
I'll still respectfully pass.

Anything helps.... although I'm still not confident in the Raiders at all...

Most players in this league become successful based on the team around them.
Give me a healthy Jordan Matthews, Kelvin Benjamin and Ben Roethlisberger plus the Steelers Oline I bet Zay doubles his stats from playing with Tyrod VLad Mills a banged up Benjamin and our #2 Thompson who was picked up like 6 weeks ago....
Its to hard to say unless they are in the same situation. And it’s not close, hence why Pittsburgh will be probably playing in the AFC championship game for like the 5 or 6 time under Roethlisberger.
I can see what you're saying, just disappointed in the many drops he had this year and thought we'd see more out of him. I do hope Zay proves me wrong next year, if we get a better passing game going.

Juju wouldn’t have done crap without AB and Bryant then give him Tyrod instead of Rothlisburger... people can’t be serious.
Why do fans think Tyrod is legit enough to make a rookie WR standout?
I have been a fan of Juju since his high school days. I think he's a better player than Zay "Butterfingers" Jones, no matter who the QB.
I'm not asking for Zay Jones to be Antonio Brown, but he hasn't really done much for being a second round pick.
-
I don't think Harrison necessarily fits our scheme. And he's 40. I'll pass.
-
I'm sorry but I've been saying Zay was a bust since week 2. I was hoping he'd prove me wrong, but we really should have taken Juju. Zay Jones is Hardy 2.0.
-
I was hoping we'd play the Jags in Jacksonville next year, since I live in FL. That would've been two games I could attend, as I always go to any Bills games in FL.
However, it will be cool to see Marrone return to the Ralph!! Give him hell Buffalo!!
-
Let's hope the Bengals feel inspired to win Lewis's last game!!!
-
Poor Harbaugh. As someone going to this game I am glad they flexed us back. More tailgate time, and the weather will be perfect in Miami Gardens.
-
Can't wait to see how the Mafia tailgates in Miami this week...
-
I would rather sign Smith to a cheaper, less-risky deal. Cousins scares me because of the franchise limiting salary he will command. I agree with the article in that I do not think he will carry the franchise by himself like Rodgers does GB.
-
I see us winning. And the Bengals pulling off an upset to send Marvin Lewis off on a good note. = Playoffs baby!!
-
Let em know, Terry!!!

Some of you need to stop acting like Jonathan Williams was the next Thurman. If you want change, you have to go through some tough times. Not sitting here saying Beane and McDermott are geniuses but we need to give them the benefit of building the team in their image, which doesn't happen overnight.
Expecting them to take over and win with someone else's roster is insane. Especially when we haven't made the playoffs in 17 years. We had to do something different, fans clamored for change, and now that we've got change people are crying about it. You gotta be kidding me with all this outrage over an easily replaceable, backup running back.
With all the moves, I'm now conflicted at 9
