  1. Glad some people are actually talking the merits of Reddick, which was the point.

He's an interesting prospect, but is not being drafted as a DE or 3-4 OLB, his college position. He was a Safety when he first got to college, but was good at pass rush so they used him there. But he is projected as a 4-3 OLB in the pros. And with his 4.52 speed and coverage abilities, he seems to be a good fit.

I do think that position change will keep him out of the top 10, so threw in the trade down option. But really I'd take him at 10.

What do people think about going OLB with our top pick and not CB or WR. Most seem to discount OLB as a top need, but who else do we have that fits?? I think its a huge need for McD's defense. CB can be filled by a cover 2 guy in the 2nd. Darby is our #1 man, when we need it

This is my thinking also... I would not be upset AT ALL if we drafted him.

  2. 5 QB's in the first round today... no trades to get them either

Tribusky (Jets) vs Watson (Bills) for the new face of the AFC east after Brady retires. Mahommes (Browns) does what Manziel was supposed to do for Cleveland. Kizer (Texans) and Bill Obrien fall in love. Webb (Saints) sits behind Brees and becomes the next Rodgers

Actually, the Bills are going to draft 5 QBs in the 1st round with no trades! Like a boss

  3. just kidding... but on a serious note, I tried looking( I think user error is my biggest road block), but does anyone have a link to thread about Corey Davis and his possible NFL comparisons? It would be greatly appreciated. If you can PM me with the link, I'll give you a most glorious high five.

I tried asking a mod for help, but I just get *crickets*. If I was a lizard, them crickets would be delicious... but alas, I am not.

  4. This guy started his college career as a walk on Corner, then moved to OLB, then moved to pass rusher/DE. If we need LBs that can cover and and rush, this could be our huckleberry. He could be a perfect player for today's NFL where teams play nickel and dime far more often than they do conventional base D. If we draft this dude, no one should be upset with the pick(unless we pass on Hooker, then we need to riot).

  5. Brilliant....why not 0-16.....and for a few more years too.....sounds like fun....been through those years many times ......don't want to see them again

I don't want 8-8 for 17 years again. Don't know how many more Trent Edwards/Losmans/Holcombs/Manuels/Fitzs/etc I can handle. I would trade 17 non playoff seasons for 1 terrible season that allows us to get a QB that will make us contenders every year for the next 2 decades.

  6. Is Malik Hooker slipping a little bit I see alot of mocks saying he slips out of the top ten. If he's on the board you have to take him over Riddick or the trade down option right?

I agree on Hooker! I think he may actually be the best player in this draft. If for some ludicrous reason he lasts until our pick, don't even field calls. Take the best deep Safety prospect since Ed Reed. I don't even see how it is debatable.

  7. This may have been already talked about but Sports Science just ranked Chad Kelly as the number one quarterback based on accuracy and ball velocity. I'd burn a 5th round pick on him... maybe Uncle Jim could get him straightened out...

I posted the link to that episode the page prior to this one.

  8. This guy is the best WR in this draft class. He can change a defense's play calling just by lining up on the outside. The greatest thing about him is that he isn't just the fastest guy on the field on any given moment, but he is a football player also! He can run routes, catch, and make people miss... it just comes natural to him. The more I look at this year's draft, the more I am convinced that he should be a top 5 pick.

ps: how do I post a you tube video, not just the link?

  9. Ross lol

you must live on the east coast. Because if you had the chance to watch him week in and week out like me, you would know the kind of talent he possesses.

But since you only said "ross lol", I will assume you are happy in your ignorant bliss. You probably say "Antonio Brown, DeSean Jackson, Steve Smith LOL" also every sunday. Ross has the potential and football skills to be better than those 3 guys. But you probably listen to east coast sports news heads, so you are probably more informed than me.
