  1. "Where are you located? Are you willing to move?"

I am currently located in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina. I am certainly not opposed to relocating for a good opportunity.

I have a four year business degree from NC State University and have been in technical sales since graduating around 5 years ago.

Once again, any lead or opportunity to speak with someone regarding a position would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

  2. Well, I just found out today that my company will be eliminating my position. I've been with the company for over four years and have gained some very valuable experience.

I've tried the usual Monster, Hot Jobs, Career Builder methods in the past and was wondering if anyone out there has any advice on a more effective method to locate potential opportunities?

Even though I'm not well known on these boards, I guess I can consider this a networking opportunity since many of the posters here live around the RTP area of NC.

If anyone out there has any leads for an experienced technical (IT) account manager please let me know.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Whiteboy

  3. I have a 14 month old Weimaraner and good lord that thing has some energy.

My girlfriend runs her for three miles in the morning and then i either run her for three more or walk her for five after work.

If it's raining and bitterly cold and we have to skip a session the dog bouncing off the walls.

I was wathcing a NOVA special on PBS and they said Weims and Dalmations were literally breed to travel up to 35 miles a day searching for game.

Maybe people get these hunting breeds for their looks but don't even come close to giving thme an outlet for their energy.

But if you take care of the Weim's energy needs they are just about the perfect family dog. Short hair, very loyal, playful, protective and gets along with all other people and dogs.

  4. Splenda and Skim in the coffee now rather than sugar and half and half.

Well, except for on Saturday morning. That's my reward each week.

    "That's my reward each week."

Jeez, just yesterday I started a thread talking about how getting older becomes tedious and boring. I guess you just proved me wrong. Who needs booze, woman and parties on the weekend? Pass the half and half!!

  5. I gotta disagree with you here! I'm so sick and tired of successful teams' making us the laughing stock of the NFL by dumping their washed-up, second rate players on us I could puke!! Ex: Drew, Sam Gash, Larry Centers, Dave Moore.... shall I go on?!? We started to have success this year due to the emergence of 2 players.... Lee Evans and Willis McGahee, period!!

Are you serious? Two players? What about TKO, London Fletcher, Big Sam, Phat Pat, and Lawyer?

All of these players have been very successful free agent pick ups by the Bills over the last 3-4 years.

  6. I got a real education when I initially asked the dog food question. I would imagine that the majority of dog owners see Pedigree or IAMs in the grocery store and feel they are getting some great products. I am glad that I researched this issue and was grateful for the input I received here.

I guess what they say about dogs being man's best friend is true. The same people who will debate til the end of time which brand of hot dog is best, will drive hours for a garbage plate, and will throw a fit when fried bologana sandwiches are no longer being served, absolutly refuse to feed their dog any "by-products".

    I love it!

I'm the same way with my pup.

  7. Eukubana, Canana or Royal Canin are all escellant foods.  Eukubana is probably the best.

I think it was SteveStojan who recomended the raw dog food. I think it was Nitro....something or another. I'm sure he'll be here to give you the exact name if it was indeed him.

I'd be willing to learn more about it as well. I have a Weimaraner who is about 14 months old or so. I jus switched her from Hills Science Diet for puppies to the adult formula. She seems to do well on that.
